Two Arizona âRepublicanâ State Senators Kill Election Integrity Bill Before Adjournment
Arizona State Senators Michelle Ugenti-Rita and Paul Boyer voted with Democrats to kill State Senator Kelly Townsendâs SB1241, which had over 34 serious election integrity and security provisions.
Senate Government Committee Chairwoman Michelle Ugenti-Rita led the charge in killing this bill claiming that it was ominous and âhalf-bakedâ.
RINO Boyer previously co-sponsored a resolution to hold the County Board of Supervisors in contempt for their non-compliance with the Arizona Senate, then voted ânoâ. That vote killed the resolution.
SB1241 was meant to Outline requirements for chain of custody, as well as consequences of a chain of custody violation. It also requires ballot receipts for voters and utilizes the Arizona Department of Transportation and County Recorder to clean voter rolls.
These two killed this bill because it did not align with their agenda.
State Senator Townsend told TGP that Ugenti-Rita refused to talk to Townsend and amend the bill until it was too late. She never even gave the bill a hearing or put it on the calendar.
Ugenti-Rita told Townsend that if she removed the chain of custody clauses that she would vote yes with Republicans. Ugenti-Rita claimed that Townsend went around her with these chain of custody clauses.
State Senator Townsend told The Gateway Pundit that Ugenti-Rita was âhellbent on getting those portions outâ and wonders why.
As Senate Government Committee Chairwoman, Michelle Ugenti-Rita handles election bills. After calling Townsendâs bill âhalf bakedâ and âomnibusâ, she killed the bill instead of offering amendment suggestions as she could have.
Townsend says that she doesnât even know that Ugenti read the bill.
Ugenti-Rita is running for Arizona Secretary of State in the 2022 midterm. She doesnât support these critical election security measures but she wants to run Arizonaâs elections?
But if this bill goes down the 2022 primary election will have the same rules when it comes to chain of custody, as it had in the 2020 general election because of pride, because of nonfeasance, because the chairwoman didnât like that I went around her, and because thereâs many provisions in one bill called an omnibus.
For those reasons, this Chairwoman is denying the people of Arizona, confidence, and election security.
Thatâs unacceptable. I will vote no, to reconsider this bill, and I want everyone to think long and hard, What just happened.

Biden Commerce Secretary: âA Lot ofâ Jobs Lost in Retail, Service Industries âMight Not Be Coming Backâ
Department of Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo said in a new interview that many pre-pandemic jobs, namely in the retail and service sectors, may never come back.
On Thursday, the Department of Labor released a report that new jobless claims dropped to 364,000 for the week. However, the data revealed that nearly 3.5 million Americans were collecting state unemployment benefits.
âThe real issue, I think, is that a lot of the jobs that folks lost are the kinds of jobs, letâs say, for example, in retail or services industries, that might not be coming back or might not be coming back in the same numbers,â Raimondo told CNBC on Thursday.
âAnd so, what that means is, we have to lean into apprenticeships and job training and up-skilling,â she added.
A June jobs report also showed that the United States added 850,000 jobs in May, which topped expectations. Analysts had reportedly anticipated 706,000 new jobs being created.
Retail added 67,000 new jobs in June, while another 194,000 new jobs came from restaurants and bars were added, according to the monthly jobs report.
President Joe Biden on Friday said the pick-up in hiring is a welcome development.
âThis is historic progress, pulling our economy out of the worst crisis in 100 years, driven in part by our dramatic progress in vaccinating our nation and beating back the pandemic as well as other elements of the American Rescue Plan,â Biden said in remarks at the White House.
Manufacturing added a modest 15,000 jobs, with employment at motor vehicle assembly plants declining 12,300. A global semiconductor shortage has forced some automakers to cut production. Other manufacturing industries are also grappling with shortages of raw materials and workers.
Construction payrolls contracted for the third straight month. Though the sector remains supported by robust demand for housing, scarcity of workers and expensive raw materials like framing lumber are hampering homebuilding.
It came after economists and businesses claimed that the expanded federal unemployment benefits that were first authorized in March 2020 triggered a labor crunch. A number of GOP-led states have already ended the federal benefits program, which included a $300 weekly check from the government, as critics of the measure have argued that businesses canât find workers to hire.
The unemployment rate rose to 5.9 percent in June from 5.8 percent in May, according to Labor Department data. The jobless rate continued to be understated by people misclassifying themselves as being âemployed but absent from work.â Without this misclassification, the unemployment rate would have been 6.1 percent in June.

LinkedIn Deletes Account of mRNA Vaccine Pioneer Who Questioned Risks of COVID-19 Shots
Dr. Robert Malone, who identifies himself as a pioneer of mRNA vaccines, said that LinkedIn recently deleted his account after he made comments about mRNA COVID-19 vaccines and questioned whether theyâre appropriate to give to certain groups of people.
âMy business pays for linked in premium. I have been deleted,â Malone wrote on Twitter this week. âPurchased a service from linked in to promote my company. This is very different from the YouTube or Twitter terms. This arbitrary and capricious action has damaged our business, and we deserve to be compensated.â
It appears his personal account was removed earlier this week without warning or explanation from LinkedIn, a subsidiary of Microsoft, said his wife, Jill Malone.
âHe was given no notice, no warnings,â she told Just the News. âHe has a 10-15 year old accountâhas never even had a warning. 6,000 followers.â
Malone explained on Wednesday that the âhistoric record of what I have done, stated, figured out (and when) etc. over time is a key part of establishing my credibility and track record as a professional. But despite this, the account âhas been erased completely and arbitrarily without warning or explanation,â he added.
In a subsequent tweet, Malone produced an email from a LinkedIn representative, who said that his account violated the firmâs user agreement because he posted âmisleading or inaccurate informationâ about vaccines and COVID-19.
â[LinkedIn] has provided a list of my thoughtcrimes. An amazing document,â Malone wrote.
The Epoch Times has contacted LinkedIn for comment.
Recently, Maloneâs claims to Fox News and other news outlets about giving vaccines to individuals under the age of 18 were flagged by several so-called âfact-checkingâ sites. Malone told NTDâs âThe Nation Speaksâ in late June that heart inflammation reports shift the risk-benefit ratio for children.
âVaccines save lives. These vaccines have saved lives,â Malone said, adding that believes the risks associated with mRNA COVID-19 vaccines made by Pfizer and Moderna outweigh the benefits among children.
Speaking to Fox News, Malone said, âI can say that the risk-benefit ratio for those 18 and below doesnât justify vaccines, and thereâs a pretty good chance that it doesnât justify vaccination in these very young adults.â
LinkedInâs move to ban Malone is the latest attempt by a Big Tech firm to curb what they describe as âmisinformationâ regarding COVID-19 vaccines. Recently, Twitter locked Harvard Medical School epidemiologist Martin Kulldorffâs account after he expressed a skeptical viewpoint on whether masks actually provide protection.
And early on in the pandemic, separately, social media firms suspended the accounts of individuals who questioned the origin of COVID-19 while positing that it may have emerged from a high-security laboratory in Wuhan, China, in late 2019. However, in recent months, U.S. officials, including members of the 17-agency Intelligence Community, have begun to question the official narrative from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and World Health Organization officials, who have claimed the virus was transmitted from animals to humans at a wet market.

Dozens of churches burn, mobs tear down Queen Victoria and QE2 statues: Justin Trudeau is loving it!
What a terrible day it was yesterday. On purpose of course.
Thatâs a massive mob, highly organized, with matching outfits, coming with ropes and tools, in broad daylight, not the dead of night, in the full sight of a huge police force, just tying ropes to a statue of Queen Victoria, right on the steps of the Manitoba Legislature, and just pulling it down.
That is a crime, of course.
And police did nothing but watch. Actually, thatâs not quite true.
Hereâs a CBC story:
1 arrested after Queen Victoria statue toppled at Manitoba Legislature
Yeah, thatâs quite a headline. Because it wasnât a statue vandal who was arrested.
It was the lone counter-protester who was against it. He wasnât just arrested â it sounds like they Tasered him, too.
This is the same Manitoba police who arrested and jailed Maxime Bernier, the leader of the PPC party, for meeting peacefully with other skeptics of Manitobaâs lockdown?
And yesterday alone, ten churches vandalized in Calgary. Ten in one day. Donât tell me this isnât an orchestrated, financed, national operation.
Hereâs what Calgaryâs police had to say:
Not sympathy or solidarity with the vandalized churches or their congregants. Just a statement that they were vandalized.
And then immediately publishing the narrative that the churches are to blame, the churches are evil, and come on vandals, please knock it off?
But really, Trudeau's response was no different.
But yesterday, Canada Day, was the focus. Theyâre trying to turn Canada Day into a day of shame and rage.
Justin Trudeau needs a bit of that division up here. He needs a crisis to distract from his own controversies.
He doesnât want the election to be about him and his incompetence, his cabinet fiascos, his disgraced ministers from Harjit Sajjan to Steven Guilbeault to the nearly 1,000 days China has held Canadian hostages.
Much rather to have a summer of hate, that will feed the media, distract from his own errors, but most importantly, get to his master strategy of dividing us based on sex and race and posing as the great reconciler, while accusing his opponents of being racist and sexist.
Trudeau wonât stand up for Canada â not against China; not against rioters and arsonists.
He wonât even stand up for the Queen.
Why would he? His own father mocked the queen, doing a foolish twirl right behind her back when she was repatriating the Constitution. He hated her.
Trudeau junior hates her too, hates the Catholic Church too.
Heâs not going to defend them. He loves whatâs happening.
Would you expect anything else from someone who idolizes Fidel Castro or Communist China?
Canada Day? If Trudeau is reelected this summer, and Erin OâToole will ensure he is, donât expect the holiday to survive a third Trudeau term.

Gay BLM Activist Arrested and Charged With Cat Torture and Murder, Blamed Police Racism for Arrest
Rashad Gober was charged with luring and torturing 3 cats in his apartment, killing one of them
Rashad Gober, a gay BLM supporter, is seemingly blaming his arrest and charge of animal cruelty for torturing three different cats on police racism.
Cambridge Police announced the arrest of Gober, 31, at his home on Thursday, and charged him with four counts of animal cruelty, dating from March to May of this year. The investigation was initially opened after the discovery of a cat called Gosha on May 6th, who was huddled underneath a car, with her legs bound by masking tape. Further analysis on the deceased cat found a large percentage of her fur missing, also concluding that she had been shot repeatedly with a BB gun, with officers concluding that she had been subject to cruel torture.
The investigation then discovered two further cases of animal cruelty that they linked together, including a BB gun being used to wound a cat called Tammy on March 3rd/4th, who survived, and the case of Buddy on May 5th, who had suffered chemical burns. Posts on social media show an account under Goberâs name stupidly claiming that he had rescued Buddy, after seeing him injured in his yard and saving his life, which may have put him on the radar of authorities. Further posts under his Facebook account show he even claimed to have a lost cat who was tortured in the same way he allegedly tortured his feline victims.
Further evidence was discovered by maintenance man Dana Petrillo, who found âopen cat food containers and bowls of milk spread out through the apartment in each roomâ of Goberâs first floor apartment, seemingly to lure as many cats as possible to their death. âThere was cat food cans open in the yard right near the barrels and a camera over there facing the barrels like he was trying to catch a cat,â he said. Video footage from Goberâs landlord also showed a trail of cat food leading to his apartment door. Petrillo connected Gober to the cat torture case after seeing a flyer regarding one of the cats.
A Cambridge homeowner says this is video a trail of cat food his tenant left to lure cats into a 1st floor apt. Today, 31 year old Rashad Gober of Hurley St. pleaded not guilty to 4 counts animal cruelty, for allegedly killing one cat/torturing two others. âŚâŚ@NBC10Boston⊠pic.twitter.com/3yne2qtLEc
â Kathryn Sotnik NBC10 Boston (@KatNBCBoston) July 1, 2021
Google search results taken from Goberâs phone show that he repeatedly looked up the best ways to torture cats, with queries including:
Ways to torture a cat without killing it
What happens if you throw bleach on a cat
Cat chemical burn
Sounds to lure cats
Keeping a cat hostage
Despite Gober being into cat torture, he portrayed himself as a proud supporter of BLM on social media, even going so far as to write himself a mock obituary in 2016, imagining himself being killed by a racist white police officer. Photos show him in t-shirts supportive of the LGBT community, with slogans such as âwhy be racist, sexist, homophobic, or transphobic, when you could just be quiet?â

Sen. Marsha Blackburn: âI Am Just Lividâ with Dr. Fauci, Would Ask Him if Potential Coronavirus âLab Leakâ Could Have Been âIntentionalâ by China
FRANKLIN, Tennessee â Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) told Breitbart News that she is âlividâ with Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), and reiterated her call for Fauci to resign his position over funding his office provided to the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV).
Blackburn also said she would question Fauci on whether the Chinese Communist Party â whose talking points she said he was echoing over the course of the pandemic â may have âintentionallyâ leaked the coronavirus from the lab, by far the furthest any U.S. senator has gone in questioning the CCPâs culpability and responsibility for the pandemic.
âFederal employees are supposed to give accurate information, and what we now know is that Dr. Fauci was fully aware that there were problems with the Wuhan Institute of Virology, and that it should have been investigated, and that he is fully aware that in 2014 President Obama started sending funds to the lab â or Dr. Fauci through the Obama administration started sending funds over there,â Blackburn said in an exclusive long-form video interview as part of Breitbart Newsâs On The Hill series here at Puckettâs, a supermarket, restaurant, and live music venue at which many of Nashvilleâs biggest country stars have performed.
Fauciâs office, part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), over the course of several years provided hundreds-of-thousands of U.S. taxpayer dollars through intermediaries to the WIV. Fauciâs office was set to provide what would have amounted to more than $1.5 million total to the lab through intermediaries, but in spring 2020, as the pandemic raged worldwide, pulled the plug â days after an email from NIH principal deputy director Lawrence Tabak to Fauci and NIH Director Francis Collins. Other grants uncovered by Congress show funding also came through intermediaries to the Wuhan lab from other parts of the federal government, like the State Departmentâs U.S. Agency for International Development.
On a bipartisan basis this week, the U.S. House Appropriations Committee adopted language from Rep. Guy Reschenthaler (R-PA) to ban such funding in the future.
Blackburn noted in the interview that funding for the Wuhan lab came âright from the NIAID, which is [Fauciâs] agency.â Then she noted that Fauciâs emails, obtained via Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, show he was privately concerned about this funding and research being conducted at the lab with backing of U.S. taxpayer dollars, but that Fauci did not raise these concerns publicly or with then-President Donald Trump and and then-Vice President Mike Pence. Pence led the White Houseâs Coronavirus Task Force last year, heading up the U.S. response to the pandemic.

White House Dismisses âAnonymous Sourcesâ Ripping Kamala Harris Despite Frequently Using Anonymous Sources
The White House on Friday dismissed comments from anonymous sources complaining about the âabusiveâ enforcement in Vice President Kamala Harrisâs office in recent reports.
âI would first note that I try not to speak to or engage on anonymous reports or anonymous sources,â White House press secretary Jen Psaki said during the daily press briefing when asked about the reports.
The White House frequently and systematically uses anonymous sources to brief reporters on their forthcoming agenda, requiring them to agree to only refer to officials as a âsenior administration official.â
Anonymous White House officials told Axios in a report Friday that the vice presidentâs office is a âshitshow.â
On Wednesday, Politico reported âshort fusesâ in the office and an âabusive environmentâ
âItâs not a place where people feel supported but a place where people feel treated like shit,â said a person Politico cited as having âdirect knowledgeâ of the situation.
Psaki defended Harris as âan incredibly important partnerâ to President Joe Biden, despite reports featuring staff members complaining about the brutal working environment.
âShe has a challenging job, a hard job, and she has a great supportive team of people around her,â Psaki said. âBut other than that, Iâm not going to have any more comments on those reports.â
After White House reporters called out Psakiâs quote attacking anonymous sources on Twitter, she specifically addressed her comment on social media.
âI think everyone knows the difference between attacking someone as an anonymous source and providing details on a policy announcement to reporters in an effort to provide information and answer media questions,â she wrote.
