Capitalism period is about profit. If you want fairness, you'll have to wait until you die.

Best thing to do is live within your means so recessions don't affect you. Also get a job that's recession proof. There are many out there. Jobs that never lay people off unless they're poor performers.

I can see you in the morning when you go to school

Don't forget your books, you know you've got to learn the golden rule

Teacher tells you stop your play and get on with your work

And be like Johnnie too-good, don't you know he never shirks

He's coming along

After School is over you're playing in the park

Don't be out too late, don't let it get too dark

They tell you not to hang around and learn what life's about

And grow up just like them, won't you let it work it out

And you're full of doubt

Don't do this and don't do that

What are they trying to do

Make a good boy of you

Do they know where it's at

Don't criticise, they're old and wise

Do as they tell you to

Don't want the devil to

Come and put out your eyes

Maybe I'm mistaken expecting you to fight

Or maybe I'm just crazy, I don't know wrong from right

But while I am still living I've just got this to say

It's always up to you if you want to be that

Want to see that

Want to see it that way

You're coming along

COVID19 was a blatant scam with a real variant with a low infection rate, and a high death rate (brain and blood problems, including sense of taste and smell loss, memory loss, blood clots, etc), and a fake one called the flu where all symptoms were lumped under one umbrella

Good luck. My mom went to school for a Masters, has 6 figs of debt and is currently homeless living in a church refuge shelter where she gets a roof over her head for ministry work. I took her in for a while. I had 5 figs of debt but now down to last 1700 that I'll have paid off this year.

It's called stoicism. Young people like to think they can change the world. When you reach 35 or so, you start to realize, you're not going to be doing much without selling your soul. So it's better to just do your best for you and your family while still sharing the truth for those world changers out there who don't mind prison and persecution.

Some people like that shit. Me, I'm more like John McAfee. I like to keep my head down while using disinfo so I can keep the tyrants off my back.

[Intro]

[Verse 1]

Dreamer, you know you are a dreamer

Well, can you put your hands in your head? Oh no!

I said, dreamer, you're nothing but a dreamer

Well, can you put your hands in your head? Oh no!

[Hook]

I said, "far out, what a day, a year, a life it is!"

You know, well, you know you had it comin' to you

Now there's not a lot I can do

[Verse 2]

Dreamer, you stupid little dreamer

So, now you put your head in your hands, oh no!

Woo!

[Hook]

I said "Far out, - What a day, a year, a life it is!"

You know, well, you know you had it comin' to you

Now there's not a lot I can do

[Bridge]

Well, work it out someday

If I could see something

You can see anything you want, boy

If I could be someone

You can be anyone, celebrate, boy

Well, if I could do something

You can do something

If I could do anything

Can you do something out of this world?

Take a dream on a Sunday

Take a life, take a holiday

Take a lie, take a dreamer

Dream, dream, dream, dream

Dream along

Dreamer, come on and dream and dream along

Come on and dream and dream along (a little)

Dreamer, come on and dream and dream along

Come on and dream and dream along

[Outro]

Dreamer, you know you are a dreamer

Well, can you put your hands in your head? Oh no!

I said, dreamer, you're nothing but a dreamer

Well, can you put your hands in your head? Oh no!

Oh no!

Ain't Nobody But Me

Tell you a story that'll make a change

Let me tell you when I'm way out of range

It's about a man who's cruel and mean

So promise not to cause a scene

Then heaven help the ones you love;

There's nowhere 'neath the stars above

Where you can run you know he'll find you;

It don't matter now, just look behind you

You had your warning, you knew the score;

You got it wrong, and that means war

So why'd you have to treat me rough

Your explanation's not enough

Ain't nobody but me gonna lie for you

Gonna die for you

Ain't no fish in the sea gonna sigh for you

Gonna try for you

Gonna lie for you

Gonna die for you

You see, I got a double disposition;

Sometimes I'm mean, sometimes I'm vicious

I'm Doctor Jekyll, and Mister Hyde;

So if you want to stay alive

Just give me all you've got to give

And then perhaps I'll let you live

Ain't nobody but me gonna lie for you

Gonna die for you

Ain't no fish in the sea gonna sigh for you

Gonna try for you

Gonna lie for you

Gonna die for you

Gonna sigh for you

Gonna try for you

Gonna lie for you

Gonna die for you

Hush: Now baby stop your cryin'

Oh yes: I know that I've been lyin'

Hush: Now baby stop your cryin'

Oh yes: I know that I've been lyin'

Hush: Now baby stop your cryin'

Oh yes: I know that I've been lyin'

Hush: Now baby stop your cryin'

Oh yes: I know that I've been lyin'

Hush: Now baby stop your cryin' now

Granted it takes a special type from the US who can deal with a lack of creature comforts we grow accustomed to here including AC and hot water. Brazil's infrastructure just isn't there unless you happen to live in a wealthy area. My family in Brazil is middle class, but we own three homes because they're priced like homes were here in the 50s. Much easier to live there financially even with the shittier healthcare, roads and crime.

Water is infinitely better there. Your hair doesn't feel all stiff and dry due to chlorine. It's actually soft like one remembers from childhood in the 80s. Not sure why we have such terrible chlorinated and calcified water here now.

Same in Brazil for Covid stuff. Gun stuff is pretty good in Brazil. Government doesn't seem to be able to afford Big Brother toys too much. But they did have a few fancy Covid scanning machines at the Brazilian mall when I was there earlier this year. Traveling does suck though right now with the COVID requirements airlines have. My wife came to the states this past month and we ran into issues on her flight back because apparently COVID19 tests have to be travel approved which means you have to pay for them because COVID19 testing sites deem travel "non-essential" so they want to fuck us.

One thing I've learned about "American women" is that sometimes they can be pretty demanding about weddings and random fancy shit. My wife from Brazil is just happy to have a wedding and work towards a common goal with me. I'm not wealthy. Net worth at 37 is like maybe 200k, so I have a ways to go, but happiness shouldn't be based on materialism. That is why I ended up dating a Brazilian.

Previously dated an Italian woman, Black woman, Vietnamese woman, and an Irish woman and didn't have much luck until now. Mainly about materialistic bullshit that doesn't matter too.

She leans more socialist / Communist but we share a lot of the same concerns. It's just a matter of world views. She grew up in the NE of Brazil where it has always been that way even during the Military Dictatorship in the late 70s.

Did I say that? No she leans more that way. She's not a pure Communist, but she feels the government in Brazil should take care of its citizens with their taxes paid. I feel the same way here. Our government wastes so much damn money on other countries. Time to actually help people struggling in America. If that makes me Communist, shoot me.

We all have somethings we want government to do more of or less of. I want small government, she wants larger government because of the amount of taxes paid in Brazil that gets wasted on corrupt officials mansions and cars. We have similar issues. I told her well you want people to pay more taxes to the government so corrupt officials steal more naturally? She said, well we all wish things would actually work. LOL I agree with her on that. Human nature is sinful. And I think she understands why I hate government.

Now you have pay someone between 130 - 250 to stick shit up both nostrils to get your test results within 72 hrs of your trip. And you have to deal with constant delays, fuckery, and cranky airport workers who give you shit over everything. Sometimes I think they want to cause some mass murder shit at an airport with the shit going on. Because eventually people are going to go apeshit. I lost my shit on the phone waiting for 1.5 hrs on hold for a United customer service rep to help me and I just cursed the fucker out because he was like well I know that new airline charged you money for your bags on a rescheduled leg even though another airline cancelled a leg of your trip.

Yeah I believe you. But real estate up there is costly and I'd need money enough to buy land in a good well watered / rainy area. Not everyone has that financial mobility. I'm glad to have a condo and not be renting right now. Condo almost tripled in price since I bought it. But if I were to sell, I wouldn't be any better off. Would probably end up in a shittier area or smaller place. So I just enjoy Brazil for now. I don't really care if I can't farm in the US. I have a place where I can get coconuts off the trees on our land and harvest mangoes. They just grow naturally, no intervention needed.

Denial? My dick doesn't do the thinking. It's a matter of finding things in common and people really need to open their closed minds sometimes. Because not everything is black and white. Lots of gray in the world. Lots of marriages between different cultures and political parties as well. Many have parents who don't necessarily think the same way when it comes to politics even in this country. My wife thinks CRT and teaching kids about transgenderism and homosexuality is crossing a line when it comes to education. So that's something we can agree on.

You wouldn't be too far off. Only she's the Ricky in this relationship. She spent about 15 years in the US and also became a naturalized citizen so that's also good because now she can travel back and forth much easier than if she had a green card or whatever she had prior to that as well when she first came here. I'm the second American she married. Not too much good luck with her first because he was a drinker and a loser who lost their house because he stopped paying the mortgage. I said well at least now I have a mortgage only in my name and you have three paid off homes in Brazil so we are in pretty good shape.

Father owns about 17 developed properties in PR from his wife's family too, so I'm sure we will be pretty well off in retirement. I guess the left will call us privileged even though we grew up very poor compared to most Americans.

It's just a matter of choices and sacrifices to get where you want to be.

Globalism is the biggest failure economically because there are no secondhand backchannels for certain goods to create a failsafe. I studied economics in college and I still remember when they were going over globalism as if it were a good thing. If only they could have foreseen what would happen last year.

China is one of the worst countries to give power over goods too. They are seeking domination, not cooperation.
