POTUS45 speech was a great whip-up-the-base kind of speech.
BUT…critical me says rah-rah cheerleading is not what we needed. Was really hoping and expecting this would be turning the corner. Some kind of announcement, or laying down the gauntlet to challenge the status quo. We got SKY KING, that was a cool nod to digital warriors. We got Ashli Babbit, that was a decent challenge to the narrative-makers that Jan. 6th was a farce.
But we didn't get anything that knocked them on their asses. No big reveal, no hint of a plan, and we all know July 4 would be the perfect opportunity to 'maximize them optics'.
So I'm left wondering what today's speech actually achieved.
