Iraqi Hacker Takes Over Jason Miller’s GETTR Site On Launch Day, Says It Was ‘Easy’ To Break In

A hacker who claims to live in Baghdad, Iraq broke into GETTR, the upstart social media website launched by former Trump campaign advisor Jason Miller, on its launch day, taking over the profiles of verified public figures on the websites and changing their usernames to “@JubaBaghdad was here :), ^^free palestine^^.”

The hack occurred on Sunday, shortly after GETTR officially launched. The website’s most high-profile verified accounts, which mostly belong to former Trump aides, all saw their usernames changed to the hacker’s playful message. The hacker told Business Insider that the hack was “just for fun,” and noted that it was quite “easy.”

“They should not publish the website before making sure everything, or at least almost everything, is secure,” the hacker added. Miller responded to the hack by describing it as proof that he is “shaking things up,” and claimed, “The situation has been rectified and we’ve already had more than half a million users sign up for our exciting new platform!”

As National File previously reported, GETTR mysteriously received over 1,000 Chinese reviews on the App Store days before its official launch:

GETTR, the new social media app from ex-Trump advisor Jason Miller, has received around 1,200 strange reviews from Chinese linked accounts, amid reports the app posts anti-CCP propaganda to user profiles without their permission.

However, the strangely-phrased, seemingly broken English language used in the App Store descriptions may be part of a larger phenomenon, National File can reveal. With most timelines declaring that it was “mid-June” that the GETTR app was first placed in the App Store, the vast majority of the over 1,200 reviews date from 16th to 17th June, and apart from a couple, all rate the app 5 stars.

Additionally, many of the reviews for GETTR are either once again in broken English or in Chinese. Anti-CCP sentiment is strong among the comments, even those written in clearer English. Some reviews include Chinese words transliterated into Latin text and randomly included within the review itself, while others don’t even seem to mention GETTR at all.

President Donald Trump has indicated that he has no plans to invest in or join GETTR in the future. The website’s Terms of Use state that users may not post “profane, hateful, racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable material of any kind.”

Biden Kneels Before Israeli President; Pledges Unconditional Support to Israel

President Joe Biden dropped to his knees during a meeting with Israeli President Reuven Rivlin last Monday at the White House.

President Rivlin and his chief of staff Rivka Ravitz could be seen laughing at Biden during the humiliating display.

Georgian protesters on Monday forced the cancellation of an LGBT pride march after storming the office of an LGBT lobby group, tearing down their pride flags and replacing them with Georgia's national flag.

Ruling: Norway to Pay Compensation to Victims of AstraZeneca Vaccine

This week, Norway’s government announced that at least three claims over devastating side effects from the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine – have been upheld with the victims due compensation to be paid out via a state fund set-up to handle the fallout from the experimental injections.

Government ministers have indicated that ‘dozens more’ may be expecting a similar ruling after sustaining serious injury following their coronavirus jabs.

The Norwegian System of Patient Injury Compensation (NPE) will make payments to three applicants badly affected by the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine, it announced on Friday. It officially confirmed that the vaccine, currently suspended in the European country, has resulted in severe cases of blood clots and low platelet counts in these patients, one of whom died.

Among those who suffered badly from the shot – later removed from the national vaccination program due to serious side-effects – are health workers who were prioritized to be vaccinated. The two women were hospitalized in March and one of them, who was in her 40s, died. Another applicant, an unnamed man in his 30s, is still suffering from severe immune reactions.

“I was admitted to hospital with great pain. It was frightening to follow the news about others who had just died from the same vaccine,” he told NPE.

Officials are now calculating the exact amount of compensation, the body’s director Rolf Gunnar Jorstad announced, saying that direct connections between the vaccine and its receivers’ deteriorated conditions have been established and medically confirmed. The family of the deceased woman will also receive payment for her funeral, he said.

In total, 77 compensation claims related to side effects of Covid vaccines have been received in Norway. Over 50 of those concern AstraZeneca, while there are also complaints about Pfizer and Moderna shots. Eight of the 77 applications involve fatal cases.

At the same time, more than 16,000 reports of suspected side effects of anti-Covid vaccination have been recorded by the end of June, NRK media reported, citing the Norwegian Medicines Agency. While many people complain of relatively mild symptoms such as fever, headache, fatigue and dizziness, more serious medical consequences, including blood clots, bleeding, paralysis and severe allergic reactions with anaphylaxis, have also been reported.

Ohio law protects doctors from having to commit abortions, transgender procedures

Ohio enacted a law on Thursday allowing doctors to refuse to perform practices according to their “moral, ethical, or religious beliefs or principles."

COLUMBUS, Ohio, July 2, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) – Ohio on Thursday enacted a budget bill with provisions that protect healthcare providers from having to commit abortions, transgender surgeries, or other practices that violate their beliefs. A section in the bill, House Bill 110, states that medical professionals and healthcare institutions can refuse to perform services based on “moral, ethical, or religious beliefs or principles”:

Notwithstanding any conflicting provision of the Revised Code, a medical practitioner, health care institution, or health care payer has the freedom to decline to perform, participate in, or pay for any health care service which violates the practitioner’s, institution’s, or payer’s conscience as informed by the moral, ethical, or religious beliefs or principles held by the practitioner, institution, or payer.

“Exercise of the right of conscience is limited to conscience-based objections to a particular health care service,” HB 110 continues.

Republican Gov. Mike DeWine signed the budget yesterday after lawmakers approved it earlier this week. DeWine, who has previously issued pro-LGBT executive orders, did not use his line-item veto to remove the medical conscience protections. He said that the clause was “not a problem.”

“In the real world, most of those rights are not only recognized and exercised by medical professionals, but they’re being accepted by other medical professionals,” the governor said, according to cleveland.com. “That is the way the world generally works. This is basically put in statute and codified.”

“Let’s say the doctor is against abortion,” he continued. “If the doctor is not doing abortions, if there’s other things that maybe a doctor has a conscience problem with, it’s worked out. Somebody else does those things. This is not a problem, has not been a problem in the state of Ohio and I do not expect it to be a problem.

Pro-life groups celebrated HB 110, the Center for Christian Virtue (CCV) calling it “a significant step … to protect religious freedom.”

“Medical professionals face unbelievable pressure today to abandon their faith and ethical beliefs and to perform procedures they believe are harmful and dangerous,” the group said in a press release shortly after the law was signed. “Make no mistake, the politically correct and woke culture that is bullying and silencing millions of Americans today is ingrained deeply into Ohio’s medical system.”

With the enactment of HB 110, “life-saving men and women of faith across the state can know they cannot be fired or punished for ethically treating their patients,” CCV said.

Other provisions in the budget bill, which took effect on Thursday, include millions of dollars in funding for police and a ban on election officials accepting private grant money, cleveland.com said.

More Than 5,000 Woke Teachers Sign Pledge to Teach CRT 'Regardless of the Law'

Throughout much of 2021, conservatives, in both classrooms and in the halls of state legislatures, have been fighting back against the pervasive influence of critical race theory in public schools.

Laws banning the instruction of CRT tenets in public schools have passed in more than 20 states, and there is reason t0 hope that the tide is beginning to turn in the fight for the country’s history and principles.

Unfortunately, the Zinn Education Project refuses to accept defeat, and desires to teach American children that this country was founded upon the “dispossession of Native Americans, slavery, structural racism and oppression,” as opposed to the principles of liberty enshrined in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.

The organization is named for Howard Zinn, a socialist activist and “historian” who wrote “A People’s History of the United States,” a left-wing propaganda pamphlet disguised as a textbook that has made its way into history classes all across the country.

The Zinn Education Project claims that “from police violence, to the prison system, to the wealth gap, to maternal mortality rates, to housing, to education and beyond, the major institutions and systems of our country are deeply infected with anti-Blackness and its intersection with other forms of oppression. To not acknowledge this and help students understand the roots of U.S. racism is to deceive them — not educate them.”

I wonder why this reads more like a list of progressive policy priorities than a comprehensive vision of teaching American history.

Furthermore, remaining committed to its mission to identify advocacy as historical education, the ZEP asserts that: “This history helps students understand the roots of inequality today and gives them the tools to shape a just future. It is not just a history of oppression, but also a history of how people have organized and created coalitions across race, class, and gender.”

One of the mainstream criticism’s of Zinn’s book (aside from the obvious), was that it constructed an underdeveloped and linear narrative of meek, one-dimensional oppressed groups fighting against their evil oppressors, who resemble Disney villains more than actual humans.

The ZEP would not educate American children differently.

Now, the ZEP is circulating a “Pledge to Teach the Truth,” which identifies left-wing methods of analysis like critical race theory as “the truth,” and decrees that the signees — all of whom are educators — refuse to be “bullied” into compliance with the law.

The pledge reads:

“To: State Legislators

From: [Your Name]

“We, the undersigned educators, refuse to lie to young people about U.S. history and current events — regardless of the law.”

So far, according to the Zinn Education Project, the pledge has been signed by more than 5,000 educators in all 50 states, and many of the signees were more than happy to provide their reasons for signing. Needless to say, some of them were quite shocking.

“How can we teach future generations to disrupt systems if we are not willing to speak the truth about the systems?” one wrote.

Miami Airport Customs Officer Sentenced For Enticing A Minor To Engage In Sexual Activity

Miami, Florida — Fabio Lopez, 62, of Weston, Florida was sentenced last week by a federal district judge in Fort Lauderdale to 10 years in federal prison and a lifetime of supervised release for enticing a minor to engage in sexual activity.

According to court documents, Fabio Lopez, a former officer with Customs and Border Protection, enticed a 16-year-old child into attempting to produce child pornography. Lopez met the child after befriending her mother while on duty in his official capacity at Miami International Airport. From July 2019 through March 2020, Lopez had a relationship with the child and texted her frequently. According the factual proffer filed, Lopez fondled the child and offered her money in exchange for letting him take pornographic images of her. Lopez was arrested in Davie when he arrived to meet with the child. Prior to his arrival, Lopez had rented a local hotel room for the two and left a bag with lingerie for the child to wear.

The Miami Herald reported: The police brought in agents with Homeland Security Investigations, who carried out an undercover operation. During a recorded call on the girl’s cellular phone, she told Lopez that “she was frightened by his touching her,” the affidavit says. Lopez asked for her forgiveness and said “it would never happen again.” He also “admitted to touching [her] vagina.”

In a videotaped interview after his arrest, Lopez told agents that “he had reserved a hotel room to take [the girl] back to,” put her “favorite foods and lingerie” in the room, and that “he intended to take photographs of [her] wearing the lingerie with the camera on [her] cellular telephone.”

Juan Antonio Gonzalez, Acting United States Attorney for the Southern District of Florida, and Anthony Salisbury, Special Agent in Charge, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), Miami Field Office, announced the sentence.

Manhattan Institute Offers Toolkit for Parents to Fight Back Against Woke Schools

Some Help for the Woke Wars

America is emerging from one plague only to find itself in the throes of another. A dark cloud of woke has descended upon this great land and is threatening to rip asunder the fabric of our free society. Naturally, progressives are attempting to normalize radical woke concepts by indoctrinating the nation’s youth while they have them captive in schools for six or eight hours a day.

My colleague Stacey Lennox just wrote an excellent — and disturbing — column about how committed the major teachers’ unions are to making the teaching of commie critical theories almost impossible to get out of public schools. Here’s a glimpse:

The NEA is vowing to accelerate programs and ideas like this. There are reasons to believe the AFT will go down a similar road. Together they represent 4.7 million active members in thousands of school districts nationwide. Parents opposed to the ideas the teachers’ union seems determined to incorporate may need to consider the possibility that eradicating the critical theories from the K-12 classroom is not possible. Schools of education pump out these ideas with nearly every diploma and it exists in districts not represented by a teachers’ union.

My daughter has only been out of high school for five years and the landscape has changed so much for the worse in that time.

There is still a window of opportunity to fight this institutionalizing of a radical agenda but it is closing fast. The good news is that the far left isn’t very stealthy about what they’re up to anymore. Parents are becoming more and more aware of what is going on in schools. The pandemic was a blessing in disguise in that it really revealed the true nature of union teachers to people who had long bought into the myth about them all caring about truly educating children.

The good people at the Manhattan Institute recently published a lengthy article titled “Woke Schooling: A Toolkit for Concerned Parents.” It goes very deep into the problem, but, as the title states, they’re providing parents with ways to fight it.

It is very much a think tank piece. The brief also explains a lot, beginning with how to define the situation:

An appropriate name for this phenomenon has proved elusive: “wokeness,” “the successor ideology,” or “neo-racism” have all been floated. In the context of schooling, sometimes critics allude to “critical race theory” (CRT), a school of thought in law schools that has been adapted into the educational domain. But because CRT is both overinclusive (it includes concepts not used in schools) and underinclusive (not all the ideas emergent in schools come from CRT), it is not the most apt name for what’s going on.

Rather, what we are interested in here might be termed “critical pedagogy.” “Critical pedagogy” names—without exhaustively defining—the host of concepts, terms, practices, and theories that have lately taken hold in many public and private schools. This term alludes to a connection to CRT—it might be thought of as critical race theory as applied to schooling—but also to “critical studies” and “critical theory,” a broader set of contemporary philosophical ideas that have been particularly influential in certain circles of the modern Left.

There is an extensive glossary of the terms most frequently bandied about by the proponents of critical theories. They’ve also provided a PDF of the brief that parents can download for reference. It wraps up with what steps can be taken to address “critical pedagogy” in schools.

It’s not light reading, but it is a good read for anyone who wants to be well prepared to push back a little or a lot. It’s not really a “woke is evil” approach because this is, after all, the Manhattan Institute. Decorum is a priority. I’m the guy you come to if you want something more charged with emotion.

Australia is paying hundreds of millions to AstraZeneca for COVID-19 vaccines. But the deal is a 'national security' secret

The Australian government's entire vaccine supply agreement with AstraZeneca is being withheld from the public on the grounds that it would pose a "real and substantial risk" to national security if it were released.

Australia's vaccine rollout faced one of its most difficult weeks last week, as many states across the country re-entered lockdown and tension between the states and federal government grew over vaccine supply issues and debates over the AstraZeneca vaccine.

The AstraZeneca vaccine was relied on heavily as part of Australia's initial vaccine plan, with plans for 50 million doses to be manufactured locally under a deal struck with the international pharmaceutical company. The total value of Australia's five vaccine deals is more than $5 billion in taxpayer funds.

But much about the deal with AstraZeneca is unknown.

While the government has published a letter of intent, the contract with the organisation — which is likely to amount to more than $1 billion of taxpayer funds — has never been released.

When 7.30 sought the contract under Freedom of Information laws, it was refused access to the contract in full. One of the grounds for denying access was because it could damage Australia's national security.
