My dad brought home a new 1971 Ford Pinto that year. AM radio, 2 litre engine and an automatic with a vinyl floor. He got rid of it 2 years later at 85,000 miles. I put 50,000 of those miles on it.
Got laid the first time at 14. The girl was 13 and it wasn't her first time. 1969 was a very good year!
True. I can't see myself dating my wife when I was 14. She would have 8. Eek!
