Report: Trump plans 'major announcement' regarding social media at a press conference Wednesday

Former President Donald Trump will reportedly make a "major announcement" during a press conference on Wednesday related to his plans for social media.

"Mr. Trump will have a major announcement about social media," said a source close to Trump to Newsmax.

The press conference is planned for 11 a.m. from the Trump National Golf Club Bedminster in New Jersey. Newsmax will carry the briefing live.

The former president has teased plans for a new social media platform since he was banned by the major tech companies over accusations that he was inciting violence through his claims of a rigged election. Facebook has said they will reconsider their ban on Trump but Twitter has already said he will be banned for life.

A second source told Newsmax that Trump plans to address and confront the social media companies that banned him from their platforms.

Trump had previously promoted a personal message board in May in order to reach his millions of supporters but that website was eventually dismantled.

On Thursday, former Trump team members launched their new social media platform called Gettr, which was supposed to compete with Twitter, but the former president told the media that he was planning his own app. Gettr was briefly hacked within hours of being launched when someone was able to change screen names of famous accounts and post pro-Palestinian messages.

In March a source from the Trump team told Fox News that they were taking their time on the new social media platform because they'd only get one chance to get it right.

In an interview in February the former president told Newsmax that Twitter had become very boring and that he wouldn't return to it even if they lifted their permanent lifetime ban.

Here's more about Trump's social media app:

Thousands of Americans File Lawsuits Against Their Governors for Ending Unemployment Benefits

A number of residents in states that moved to rescind federal unemployment benefits that were passed into law due to the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus pandemic have filed lawsuits against their governors.

Now, thousands of residents in Texas, Maryland, and Indiana have filed lawsuits seeking to restore the $300 extra per week in benefits. The three states were among dozens of GOP-led states that decided last month to end the benefits program early, arguing that the extra weekly income created an incentive for people not to return to the workforce amid a shortage of labor.

The supplemental benefit is slated to expire in September, which will come about 18 months after Congress authorized the expanded payments as part of the CARES Act in March 2020.

More than 30,000 Texans filed a suit against Gov. Greg Abbott, a Republican, for doing away with the program early, alleging he overstepped his authority. According to a report from the Houston Chronicle, the plaintiffs organized via Facebook to file the legal petition.

The plaintiffs, meanwhile, crowdfunded to hire an attorney, David Sibley, who filed a lawsuit last month in Austin’s state court.

“Texas has what is known as a weak governor and a large part of Texas is run by commissions,” Sibley told the newspaper, referring to the state government system. “We just believe the governor is acting outside of his authority, and it’s something the TWC (Texas Workforce Commission) should address.”

Abbott, in response to the suit, said that the “number of job openings in Texas is almost identical to the number of Texans who are receiving unemployment benefits,” echoing a concern expressed by business owners and business groups who have reported a worker shortage in recent months.

In recent weeks, two lawsuits were filed against Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan, also a Republican, and Labor Secretary Tiffany Robinson, for allegedly violating state law. The plaintiffs in that suit have argued that ending the benefits early would harm families who are struggling to find employment amid the pandemic.

But several days ago, a judge in Baltimore ordered the state of Maryland to continue paying the expanded benefits. Hogan said he would appeal the ruling.

“In its global scope and in the anxiety that almost all people experience over the threat of disease, the impact of the pandemic has been universal, but the brief stories of these Plaintiffs reminds the Court that the impact of the pandemic has been cruelly uneven,” reads the court order. “Some have suffered death or debilitating illness themselves, in their families, or among their friends,” it added.

And in mid-June, several Indiana residents filed a lawsuit against Republican Gov. Eric Holcomb to reinstate the program.

Raytheon Anti-White Racism Program EXPOSED: Whites Encouraged To Reject ‘Equality’ And Work To ‘Defund The Police’

Christopher Rufo has exposed the anti-white racism perpetuated by America's second-largest defense contractor

Christopher Rufo, an activist focused on exposing anti-white Critical Race Theory, has now exposed the anti-white racism program being implemented by Raytheon, America’s second-largest defense contractor and has posted pictures of the corporation’s internal documents online.

The Manhattan Institute’s Christopher F. Rufo has exposed the anti-white racism program at Raytheon, our nation’s second-largest defense contractor, and posted screenshots of the corporation’s racist internal documents online.

According to Rufo, Raytheon CEO Greg Hayes launched a “Stronger Together campaign,” which instructed employees to become an “anti-racist.” Hayes signed a corporate diversity statement and asked all Raytheon employees to sign a pledge and “check [their] own biases.”

As was noted by Rufo on a Twitter thread regarding the anti-white racism program at Raytheon, the “program is centered on “intersectionality,” a core component of critical race theory that divides the world into competing identity groups, with race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, and other categories defining an individual’s place within the hierarchy of oppression.”

Rufo has announced that he will make an appearance on Tucker Carlson Tonight to discuss the developments.

John McAfee’s Widow Calls Mainstream Media A ‘Malignant Cancer,’ Says Suicide Story Was ‘Prepared’ And Fabricated

"Words cannot describe how enraged I am at the fact that I had to hear the news of John's death via a DM on Twitter. And now it's being conveniently reported that there was a "suicide note" found in his pocket, something that was not mentioned when I collected John's belongings from the prison and another piece of information the media somehow got a hold of before myself and John's attorneys."

Janice McAfee, the widow of software entrepreneur John McAfee, has released a new statement in which she slammed the “malignant cancer” of corporate mainstream media journalism and stated police claims that McAfee committed suicide are false and were prefabricated before ever being released to the public.

“I cannot begin to describe this pain I am feeling,” Janice McAfee wrote in the Twitter caption of the post accompanying the statement. “That everyone who truly loved John is feeling. I have been struggling to write this tweet since the news of John’s death. I still cannot believe he is really gone. I miss you and I will love you forever John David.”

“The story of John’s ‘suicide’ was already prepared and presented to the public before I or his attorneys were even notified of his death,” the statement noted. “Words cannot describe how enraged I am at the fact that I had to hear the news of John’s death via a DM on Twitter. And now it’s being conveniently reported that there was a “suicide note” found in his pocket, something that was not mentioned when I collected John’s belongings from the prison and another piece of information the media somehow got a hold of before myself and John’s attorneys.”

Janice McAfee continued, “The investigation into John’s death is still ongoing but I will share what information I can, when I can. Until then, I do not accept the ‘suicide’ story that has been spread by the malignant cancer that is the MSM. They and their unnamed sources are not to be trusted.”

McAfee’s lawyer, Javier Villalba, has stated that “At no point had [McAfee] shown any special worry or clue that could let us think this could have happened,” and added that he felt “pain, anger, lack of understanding because it was not justified under any circumstance that this man remained in the jail.”

Lincoln Project Hires Former Aide to Prominent Democratic Perverts

Before joining scandal-plagued super PAC, strategist Joe Trippi worked for Ted Kennedy and John Edwards

A political strategist with ties to some of the Democratic Party's most notorious perverts is joining the Lincoln Project. The announcement comes just days after the scandal-plagued super PAC exonerated itself of wrongdoing with respect to John Weaver, the Lincoln Project cofounder who used his position of authority to sexually exploit vulnerable young men.

Joe Trippi, who previously worked for disgraced senators Ted Kennedy (D., Mass.) and John Edwards (D., N.C.), announced his decision Tuesday in a USA Today op-ed. "This is not about policy or petty politics or our individual histories and past partisan fights," Trippi wrote. "It's about the future of our democracy and, as Lincoln's guardians, making sure it survives. That is why, today, I am joining the Lincoln Project in this cause."

Trippi served on Kennedy's presidential campaign in 1980, when the senator ran against then-president Jimmy Carter in the Democratic primary. Some critics view the intraparty challenge as a reckless endeavor that helped ensure Carter's defeat to Ronald Reagan, the Republican candidate. It was the last time a member of the controversial Kennedy dynasty ran for president.

Kennedy's defeat in the primary came a decade after he murdered a woman with his car on Chappaquiddick Island, fled the scene of the crime, and waited nearly 10 hours to inform the police. His failure to unseat Carter vindicated those who argued killing a woman and suffering no consequences as a result of his prominent family would hinder Kennedy's prospects on the national level. Nevertheless, he continued to serve as senator until his death in 2009.

In the years following the Chappaquiddick incident, Kennedy cemented himself as one of the most lecherous Democrats to ever serve in the Senate. For example, GQ magazine recounted a 1985 incident in which Kennedy and former senator Chris Dodd (D., Conn.) allegedly sexually assaulted a waitress during a drunken night out at La Brasserie in Washington, D.C. According to reports, Kennedy threw the waitress on Dodd's lap and began "rubbing his genital area against hers."

In 2007, Edwards hired Trippi as a senior adviser to his presidential campaign. Edwards also hired Rielle Hunter, a filmmaker with whom he would have an extramarital affair while his wife was dying from breast cancer. Edwards fathered a child with Hunter but initially refused to accept paternity, and even pressured a campaign aide, Andrew Young, to claim the child was his.
