This whole billionaire taxes trope is extremely tired. Class warfare 101 stuff. First and foremost 'billionaires' don't "earn a salary" in most cases. They don't clock a paycheck and pay their social security the way we do, unless it is some nominal amount just placed on paper. Why would they? Their holdings are exactly that - holdings. Each with its own tax structure, profits and losses, money sitting all over the world in various assets, companies, funds, and accounts.

So here comes David Sirota to whine about how scandalous it is. These are rules put in place by our own system, and then followed explicity by those with the most to lose. We allow corporations to become 'entities', ergo no one in their right mind would have a billion-dollar taxable salary when it can just be tied up in their holdings.

Perhaps the real scandal, David, is how these billionaires fund their NON PROFIT FOUNDATIONS. Hello Soros, hello Gates. If you want to examine funneled money, there is a great place to start.
