Seems to me that

every state should reserve the power of recall

for all government officials

elected and appointed

through the state legislatures.

All our representatives should be paid by that state

and any other benefits offered to them

would come from the people of that state

through the legislatures.

The way it is now

Congress gets amazing retirement benefits

from having simply served in Congress

enough to retire on as soon as they leave

BIG MISTAKE

they should look back home to their own state

for all approvals and removals from office

No one should be immune from being fired

if the need for that arises

maybe then we would have a little bit less politics

and a little bit more representation

And if our representatives are mistreated in Washington DC

we should have a method of contesting that

and ask our representatives to report any such forcible politics

that goes against the will of their sttes
