Assassins Kill President of Haiti in Overnight Attack, State of Emergency Declared

Haitian President Jovenel Moise was assassinated in the middle of the night in his home in a “barbaric act.”

The Haitian government declared a state of emergency Wednesday morning.

Jovenel Moise’s wife, Martine Moise was also shot but she survived and is receiving medical attention.

Reuters reported:

Interim Prime Minister Claude Joseph said in televised remarks after chairing a cabinet meeting that the government had declared a state of emergency amid confusion over who would take over the reins of the country. “My compatriots, remain calm because the situation is under control,” he said.

The 53-year-old president’s wife, Martine Moise, was also shot in the attack at around 1 a.m. local time (0500 GMT) at the couple’s home in the hills above Port-au-Prince, Joseph said in a statement. She was receiving medical treatment.

“A group of unidentified individuals, some of them speaking Spanish, attacked the private residence of the president of the republic and thus fatally wounded the head of state,” he said.

The United States condemned the attack and called it a “horrific crime.”

“We condemn this heinous act… The United States offers condolences to the people of Haiti, and we stand ready to assist as we continue to work for a safe and secure Haiti,” Biden said of the assassination of the Haitian dictator.

Report: Over 7,700 Ballots Missing Tabulation Record In Cobb County Georgia

The Gateway Pundit has reported for months on the hundreds of thousands of ballots missing chain of custody documentation in Georgia.

In April we reported the following:

Georgia state officials came back and later refuted the number of ballots with the missing chain of custody.

Last week Georgia elections activist Kandiss Taylor reported that she and a team of audit volunteers had discovered over 168,922 early advanced votes have no chain of custody in Cobb County alone.

On Tuesday Kandiss released another piece of the puzzle:

Part of the authorized procedure for closing a precinct for advanced early voting or election day voting is to print the tabulation tapes from each ballot scanner. These scanners are the ones the voters use to scan their ballots produced from the ballot marking device (BMD). These tabulator tapes from the ballot scanner are an exact tally of the total number of votes from scanned ballots by all voters in that precinct. The tabulator tapes are the only legal record of our votes cast that are requested by the Superior Court in each county for safekeeping. The tapes are to be sent to the Clerk of the Superior Court, as soon as possible, after the ballot scanner is closed. These tabulator tapes are a hardcopy source document of the computer memory card and reflect the information that is electronically conveyed through the voting system.

These tapes, along with the memory cards, are used in the process to certify an election at the county level and how the Secretary of State certifies, which leads to the Governor’s formal certification of the election. However, the Cobb County Elections Director has failed to supply the missing tabulation tapes from two advanced voting precincts that support the election certification results to the auditing team. Because this Election Director has already overwritten the memory cards, the missing tabulation tapes cannot be recreated. Therefore, there are 7,705 votes missing.

This election should NOT have been certified without these records.

The state of Georgia was less than a 12,000 vote difference.

Five Attacks In Less Than 72 Hours: Injuries Reported After 14 Rockets Hit US Base In Iraq

The pace of attacks on Americans in Iraq is picking up after Biden's airstrikes along the Iraq-Syria border late last month were meant precisely as deterrence and as a response to prior drone attacks. Clearly it didn't work, but only served as but the next escalation portending more to come.

At least 14 rockets hit Ain Assad base Wednesday in the second such attack on the installation in as many days. US, Iraq, and other Western allied forces operation from the large base in western Anbar province. It's unclear whether the two injured are Americans or partner forces (the coalition spokesman initially assessed three injured before revising down to two).

This week alone has now seen multiple brazen assaults on based hosting US troops, including a prior Monday rocket attack on Ain Assad, followed with a Tuesday attack on a US base in Erbil, and now on Wednesday the latest included a large volley of rockets. There was also the intercept of an inbound armed drone over the US embassy in Baghdad on Tuesday.

Ever Given Container Ship Exits Suez Canal After Three Month Ordeal

Update (1133ET): Three months after the Ever Given ran aground and blocked traffic in the Suez Canal for nearly a week. The quarter-mile-long container ship has finally exited the northern segment of the canal into the Mediterranean Sea.

Mexican YouTube star arrested on child porn charge after sharing video showing gang rape of teen

One of Mexico’s most popular female internet influencers has been charged with possessing child pornography, after she shared a video of a sexual assault with her millions of social media followers.

A Mexico City judge has ruled that Yoseline Hoffman, who goes by the name of ‘YosStop’, should be held without bail for the next two months as authorities investigate the allegations against her. The internet celebrity boasts seven million followers on Instagram and more than eight million on YouTube.

The charges stem from a 2018 video of a gang rape committed against a girl who was only 16 years old at the time. The video reportedly shows a group of men inserting a bottle of champagne into the victim’s vagina. The footage was purportedly posted on social media and also appeared on a pornography website.

The victim became the target of constant abuse and later ended up in a fight with a group of internet harassers who confronted her at a Mexico City shopping mall. When Hoffman learnt of the altercation, she published a video in which she called the victim a “whore” and claimed the teen had allowed the men to assault her in exchange for three packs of cigarettes.

Then, in May last year, the victim took aim at Hoffman in social media posts of her own. In retaliation, the famous YouTuber shared a short portion of the video documenting the 2018 assault, and again criticized the teen. The victim, now 19, responded by pressing charges.

A lawyer representing the victim noted that the mere fact the YouTube star stored and shared the footage constituted a child pornography offense. “And she herself shows the camera the screen of her cellphone with the video of the rape on it,” he said.

Hoffman, who faces 14 years behind bars if convicted, insists she has been involved in “an offense that I never committed.”

“Unfortunately, I find myself involved in an issue that has nothing to do with me. But I hope that everything is cleared up and resolved soon,” she said in a message posted to social media.

Taliban fighters storm capital of Afghan province, taking over police HQ and sparking mass prison break

A group of Taliban insurgents briefly took over the capital of Afghanistan’s northwestern Badghis province on Wednesday, continuing the Islamist group’s recent gains in the country amid the withdrawal of US troops.

Militants stormed the city of Qala-e-Naw on Wednesday morning before being cleared out by government forces around 4pm local time, the Ministry of Defense said in a Facebook post.

Airstrikes were used to push the Taliban back and Afghan National Defense and Security Forces were also deployed to restore order to the city, officials said.

Taliban fighters reportedly entered the city from three directions before temporarily taking over the police headquarters, an office of the National Directorate of Security, and causing chaos for local people.

“More than 200 prisoners in the central prison of the Badghis broke the prison gate and escaped,” Abdul Aziz Bek, the head of Badghis’ provincial council, was quoted as saying by Reuters.

Videos shared online purported to show members of the Taliban riding into Qala-e-Naw on motorbikes.

The Taliban “suffered heavy casualties,” Fawad Aman, deputy spokesman for the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.

Local media said the Taliban offensive on Qala-e-Naw was the first time they have taken over a provincial capital since US President Joe Biden’s announcement in April that American troops would begin to withdraw from Afghanistan, with only a few hundred set to remain.

Since then, the Taliban have been making progress in their campaigns in Afghanistan’s northern provinces, and now control around one third of the country’s 421 districts and district centers.

On Monday the US pulled out from Bagram Airfield north of Kabul where it has had troops stationed for almost 20 years.

The latest update from the Pentagon on Tuesday said the US has now withdrawn around 90% of its troops and equipment from Afghanistan.

Obama’s “Vote Protection Director” Now Lobbies For A Firm The State Department Flagged As a ‘Tool’ Of Chinese Communist Party.

Brian McKeon, Barack Obama’s Deputy Director For Voter Protection, now serves as a lobbyist for Tencent – a tech platform flagged by the U.S. State Department as a “tool” of the Chinese Communist Party.

First retained by Tencent in August 2020 to lobby against the Trump administration’s proposed ban on its platform WeChat, McKeon is still registered as an active lobbyist on behalf of the Chinese Communist Party-linked tech firm.

In the first three months of 2021, McKeon’s firm, Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, received $200,000 in recorded compensation from Tencent. During that time period, the Biden White House also dropped the Trump administration’s efforts to ban the platform due to national security concerns.

According to The Washington Post, McKeon was a “deputy director for voter protection for Obama for America, helping oversee the effort to recruit and organize attorneys to be poll watchers in the 2012 election.”

And McKeon’s profile at the firm – where he has also lobbied for the controversial Dominion Voting Systems – highlights the position:

Brian served in senior roles for both Shaheen and Boxer’s Senate campaigns, and as a deputy voter protection director to Obama for America.

The State Department’s Bureau of International Security and Nonproliferation has described Tencent as a “tool of the Chinese government,” noting the company has “no meaningful ability to tell the Chinese Communist Party ‘no’ if officials decide to ask for their assistance.” Even the progressive group Amnesty International rated Tencent’s data encryption capabilities zero out of 100, noting it hadn’t “stated publicly that they will not grant government requests to the backdoor.”

Israel Condemns Belarussian President’s Statement That The World ‘Bows’ To Jews

Israel’s Foreign Ministry released a statement Tuesday condemning Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko for a speech he gave about the Holocaust.

Lukashenko said Saturday that Belarus should follow the example of “the Jews” who made the whole world “bow before them” after the Holocaust, according to The Times of Israel. The Israeli Foreign Ministry described the comments as “unacceptable” and summoned Belarus’ chargé d’affaires at the country’s embassy in Israel to discuss the speech further.

“I have already said that we began to do this, investigating the crimes of Nazism on the Belarusian land. This is akin to the Belarusian Holocaust, or the Holocaust of the Belarusian people. The Jews were able to prove it,” Lukashenko said. “The whole world today bows before them, they are even afraid to point a finger at them, and we are so tolerant, so kind, we did not want to offend anyone.”

Nazi Germany killed around 3,000,000 civilians in Belarus, of which about 800,000 were Jewish, according to The Times of Israel.

The Belarusian embassy in Israel said the speech, which was given on the anniversary of Belarus gaining its independence at a memorial for Soviet soldiers during World War II, was being misunderstood. “The noble purpose of this work — to perpetuate the memory of the victims of the Holocaust and to prevent any attempts to deny it — is beyond question,” it said in a statement.

The embassy contends that Lukashenko was not equating the suffering of Jews and Belarusians during the war or making a derogatory comment about Jews, but rather that he was comparing the plights of the two peoples and suggesting that Israel’s efforts to memorialize the Holocaust could serve as “an example for Belarusians [of] the colossal and successful work of the Jewish state in preserving historical truth and memory, including in the international arena.”

Lukashenko’s behavior has been under a microscope due to increasing crackdowns on civil liberties following an allegedly rigged election last year. His government was recently subjected to Western sanctions for grounding a Ryanair flight in order to detain a high-profile opposition journalist in the country.

Far-Left Canadian Provincial Lawmaker ‘in Solidarity’ with ‘Burn It All Down’ Activist as Church Burnings Continue

A far-left member of the Ontario Parliament has expressed “solidarity” with an activist who wrote “burn it all down” after a surge of church fires across Canada.

New Democratic Party (NDP) member of the Ontario provincial parliament Dr Rima Berns-McGown took to Twitter to express “solidarity” with British Columbia Civil Liberties Association (BCCLA) executive director Harsha Walia, whose comments on church burnings came under fire in recent days.

The comments come days after Bahrain-born South Asian Harsha Walia commented on a Vice report on two Roman Catholic churches being burned down with the comment: “Burn it all down.”

Berns-McGown is not the first person to come to the defence of Walia. Lawyer Naomi Sayers commented that she would “help [Walia] burn it all down… And also, I would help defend anyone charged with arson if they actually did burn things.”

“Burn it all down. Doesn’t literally mean, burn it down. But just in case, I can also defend, both civil and criminal,” she later clarified.

Since the start of June, Canada has seen a wave of vandalism and suspected arson attacks on churches in several provinces.

Among the latest suspected church arsons was a blaze that took place at the House of Prayer Alliance Church in southeast Calgary, Alberta, on Monday. Police have stated that they believe the fire was intentionally set and are investigating the case as arson. No suspects have been identified so far.

American Airlines cancels flight from North Carolina to Bahamas after group of 30 Boston teens refuse to wear their masks

American Airlines was forced to cancel a flight from North Carolina to the Bahamas after a group of 30 teenagers refused to wear face masks - and they were then forced to sleep in the airport overnight because they were too young to check into a hotel.

Flight 893 was scheduled to depart from Charlotte Douglas International Airport enroute to Nassau on Monday when passengers say the group of teens from Boston started being 'very obnoxious'.

Fellow passengers say the group, aged 17 and 18, refused to wear their masks as required.

The group were believed to be on their way to the Bahamas for a graduation trip.

It is not clear if the teens were being chaperoned given American Airlines allows those aged between 15 to 17 to travel unaccompanied.

Passenger Stephanie Krzywanski filmed herself on a call with News19 from the plane and, at one point, a mask-less young man waves at the camera.

It is not clear if he was among the group of teens.

'There were a group of high school seniors celebrating their graduation who were being rowdy and not wearing their masks,' she said.

'What transpired was a lot of back and forth between, I assume, the parents.'

An airline spokesperson confirmed that group was 'non-compliant' with the federal mask mandate that requires passengers to wear a face covering on planes.

The teens then became disruptive to fellow passengers and would not follow instructions from crew members, according to the airline.

'It was bad. Firstly they were yelling, they were cussing. They were being very obnoxious,' Malik Banks, who was sitting next to the group, told WSOC-TV.

COVID Cases In Border Camps Surge As Biden’s Crisis Swells

As President Joe Biden’s border crisis swells, COVID-19 cases are surging in government-run detention centers. According to The New York Times, Immigration and Customs Enforcement reported more than 7,500 new coronavirus cases in the crowded border camps since April. The new case numbers during that same period now make up 40 percent of total COVID positives reported by ICE in migrant detention centers since March 2020.

The skyrocketing virus case numbers also come as apprehensions and the number of migrants held in border camps almost doubled to more than 26,000 people between April and the first week of July.

While nearly 70 percent of Americans are vaccinated against COVID-19, ICE’s latest vaccination numbers for detained migrants in May indicated that just 20 percent had received an inoculation against the virus.

ICE claims that all new detainees are tested for COVID and then quarantined based on their results, but most of the migrants are grouped together on buses before they arrive and are tested at the camps, similar to prisons that experienced mass, deadly coronavirus outbreaks.

The virus spread, the Times report also indicated, comes as facilities become more crowded and health protocols and COVID mitigation techniques are overlooked.

“You have people coming in and out of the facility, into communities where incomplete vaccination allows these variants to flourish, and then you bring them inside the facilities, and that variant will spread,” Sharon Dolovich, a law professor and director of the Covid Behind Bars Data Project at the University of California, Los Angeles, said. “What you’re describing is the combination of insufficient vaccination plus the evolution of the virus, and that is really scary.”

Former President Donald Trump previously blasted Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris as “incompetent” for ignoring the crisis at the southern U.S. border during his visit with Texas Gov. Greg Abbott.

“I mean the real question is do they really want open borders or are they incompetent?” Trump said. “Because you’re either incompetent or for some reason you have a screw loose and you wnt to have open borders.”

The UK Government is Launching a Multi-Front Attack on Freedom of Expression in the Name of National Security

Matt Hancock’s bungling effort to conceal his affair with Gina Coladangelo may give hope to some that all government attempts to keep information from the public will be equally futile.

Unfortunately, the government has launched a carefully targeted multi-front offensive to hide its activities more effectively. Among measures being considered or already under way are a reformed Official Secrets Act that will conflate investigative journalism and whistleblowing with espionage. On another front, the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) is being crippled by rejecting requests and under-resourcing. At an individual level, ministers and senior officials escape scrutiny by using encrypted messaging services that can make conversations disappear from the record.

Hancock himself was apparently so concerned over the contents of his emails that he used a private email account. Any enquiry into the test and trace debacle or the mass deaths in care homes may find it difficult to discover with whom the former health secretary was in contact.

In the last year, the rejection of requests for information from central government under the FOIA have soared to 50 per cent compared to 15 per cent when it was first introduced. “The importance of FOIA is that it is a symbol of transparency which is why politicians hate it so much,” says Ben Worthy, a senior lecturer at Birkbeck specialising in transparency and freedom of information. He says that governments do not dare to abolish the act, but they can defang it by across-the-board rejections, deliberately long delays or simple non-compliance.

Most threatening of all to the public knowing what the government is doing are proposed changes in the Official Secrets Act which would treat journalists, whistleblowers and leakers as if they were spies. A little-noticed 67-page consultative paper issued in May by the Home Office and titled Legislation to Counter State Threats (Hostile State Activity)says anybody revealing information that the government chooses to label as a state secret would be liable for prosecution. The papers defines espionage particularly broadly as “the covert process of obtaining sensitive confidential information that is not normally publicly available”.

Critics say the proposed legislation would leave journalists and others facing the threat of 14 years in prison for publishing whatever the government may say is damaging to national security. The burden of proof for a successful prosecution would be reduced and juries would not necessarily be told why some disclosure poses such a serious threat.

FDA reverses itself: rejects COVID antibody test results; insanity reigns

Even a robot programmed to “follow the science” would throw up his hands in despair while reading the latest FDA COVID pronouncement.

After untold numbers of people have been given antibody tests to determine their COVID status, the FDA now states:

Today, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration issued a safety communication informing the public that results from SARS-CoV-2 antibody tests should not be used to evaluate immunity or protection from COVID-19 at any time, and especially after the person received a COVID-19 vaccination.”

Boom.

I’m imagining just a small sample of people — perhaps 5000— marching in unison into a hospital, saying, “We tested positive for COVID on an antibody test…and then we had to isolate, and some of us were treated with toxic drugs…and NOW we learn that the antibody test is useless…”

The FDA document, dated May 19, 2021, is titled: “FDA In Brief: FDA Advises Against Use of SARS-CoV-2 Antibody Test Results to Evaluate Immunity or Protection From COVID-19, Including After Vaccination”.

Digging a little deeper in the document, we have a statement referring to the COVID vaccine:

The authorized vaccines for prevention of COVID-19 induce antibodies to specific viral protein targets; post-vaccination antibody test results will be negative in individuals without a history of previous natural infection if the test used does not detect the type of antibodies induced by the vaccine.”[1][2]

In other words, the FDA is saying, “Look, the vaccine creates specific antibodies against the spike protein, not the virus. If you take the standard antibody test after vaccination, it’ll be useless, because the test isn’t meant to detect antibodies against the spike protein. It only detects antibodies against the virus.” [3]

This raises several serious questions. One of them is: Since developing antibody tests is as easy as pie, why hasn’t the FDA developed one that detects antibodies against the spike protein?

And the answer to that question is obvious. If the FDA did develop such a test, then—in terms of conventional vaccine theory—it would be easy to see how well the vaccine is working, or not working.

And THAT is not a goal public health officials want to achieve. That is not a risk worth taking. Suppose, after testing 20,000 vaccinated people, it turns out that only 800 have produced antibodies against the spike protein?

Another (unanswered) question: Are specific antibodies against the spike protein, conferred by the vaccine, sufficient to neutralize, disable, destroy the actual virus if it drops down out of a cloud and tries to infect a vaccinated person?

Rulers Prepare To Execute “Cyber Polygon” Drill On Friday

Cyber Polygon is a unique cybersecurity event that combines the world’s largest technical training exercise for corporate teams and an online conference featuring senior officials from international organizations and leading corporations. The global elitists are going to test what a massive cyberattack that takes down infrastructure and the power grid worldwide would look like.

Running parallel to the training exercise will be discussions on how to tackle everything from ransomware and supply chain attacks to implementing “resilient” digital currencies, and a desire for global governance on the internet.

So what if the rulers do turn off the power? What if in order to get it back, your compliance will be mandatory? What about digital currencies? What about your slave wages? Nation's largest teachers union mysteriously scrubs pro-critical race theory pledge from website

The National Education Association, the largest teachers union in the United States, mysteriously scrubbed from its website a recently adopted plan to combat opponents of critical race theory.

What is the background?

The NEA adopted a resolution at its annual meeting last week that pledged to "fight back" against groups working to stop critical race theory from being taught in schools.

Not only did the NEA's resolution vow to "fight back against anti-CRT rhetoric," but the resolution reaffirmed the NEA's view that developing curriculum based on critical race theory and other similar ideologies is important "for understanding and interpreting the impact of the past on current society."

The action plan is necessary, according to a separately adopted resolution, because "the attacks on anti-racist teachers are increasing." That resolution was also removed.

What happened now?

The NEA removed its pro-CRT resolutions from the union website sometime this week after its plans generated attention, and predictable backlash, online.

Jessica Anderson, executive director of Heritage Action, an organization that NEA cited specifically as one group the union would "fight back" against, noted Tuesday, "[Three] days after their annual meeting concludes, @NEAToday, the nation's largest teacher's union, scrubs the agenda items announcing their nationwide campaign to push CRT from their website."

Justice Department Announces Largest Health Care Fraud Settlement in Its History

Pfizer to Pay $2.3 Billion for Fraudulent Marketing

WASHINGTON – American pharmaceutical giant Pfizer Inc. and its subsidiary Pharmacia & Upjohn Company Inc. (hereinafter together “Pfizer”) have agreed to pay $2.3 billion, the largest health care fraud settlement in the history of the Department of Justice, to resolve criminal and civil liability arising from the illegal promotion of certain pharmaceutical products, the Justice Department announced today.

Pharmacia & Upjohn Company has agreed to plead guilty to a felony violation of the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act for misbranding Bextra with the intent to defraud or mislead. Bextra is an anti-inflammatory drug that Pfizer pulled from the market in 2005. Under the provisions of the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act, a company must specify the intended uses of a product in its new drug application to FDA. Once approved, the drug may not be marketed or promoted for so-called “off-label” uses – i.e., any use not specified in an application and approved by FDA. Pfizer promoted the sale of Bextra for several uses and dosages that the FDA specifically declined to approve due to safety concerns. The company will pay a criminal fine of $1.195 billion, the largest criminal fine ever imposed in the United States for any matter. Pharmacia & Upjohn will also forfeit $105 million, for a total criminal resolution of $1.3 billion.

In addition, Pfizer has agreed to pay $1 billion to resolve allegations under the civil False Claims Act that the company illegally promoted four drugs – Bextra; Geodon, an anti-psychotic drug; Zyvox, an antibiotic; and Lyrica, an anti-epileptic drug – and caused false claims to be submitted to government health care programs for uses that were not medically accepted indications and therefore not covered by those programs. The civil settlement also resolves allegations that Pfizer paid kickbacks to health care providers to induce them to prescribe these, as well as other, drugs. The federal share of the civil settlement is $668,514,830 and the state Medicaid share of the civil settlement is $331,485,170. This is the largest civil fraud settlement in history against a pharmaceutical company.

As part of the settlement, Pfizer also has agreed to enter into an expansive corporate integrity agreement with the Office of Inspector General of the Department of Health and Human Services. That agreement provides for procedures and reviews to be put in place to avoid and promptly detect conduct similar to that which gave rise to this matter.

UK High Court Grants US Permission for Appeal in Assange Extradition Case

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange’s legal team said Wednesday that the United Kingdom’s High Court had granted permission to the U.S. government to appeal an earlier decision that blocked Assange’s extradition.

The court reportedly granted the appeal “on a limited basis” and on “narrow, technical grounds,” and did not set a date for a future court hearing.

The ruling led to intensified calls by Assange’s supporters for his release from Her Majesty’s Prison Belmarsh, where he has been held for more than two years following seven years in isolation at the Ecuadorian embassy in London where he claimed asylum.

The High Court’s decision “means he is still at risk of extradition where he faces a 175-year prison sentence and…is certain to lose his life if he is extradited,” said Stella Moris, Assange’s partner.

District Judge Vanessa Baraister ruled at Westminster Magistrates’ Court in January that Assange should not be extradited to the U.S., where the government is pursuing Espionage Act charges against him for his publication of military and diplomatic documents, on the grounds that Assange was at “substantial” risk for committing suicide in the “harsh conditions” of the U.S. prison system.

Baraister’s ruling led to calls for the U.S. to end its pursuit of Assange—which has been called a threat to press freedom all over the world by international rights groups including Amnesty International, Reporters Without Borders, and the Freedom of the Press Foundation—but U.K. authorities continued his detention at Belmarsh pending the Biden administration’s appeal.

“The U.S. government should have accepted the Magistrates’ Court’s decision—instead, it keeps this case going,” Moris told reporters Wednesday.

Reporters Without Borders reiterated its demand for Assange’s freedom following the High Court ruling.

FBI Waives Objection to Attorneys Request to Review Unredacted Seth Rich Documents in Latest Update

Ty Clevenger has not only been a good friend to our own Matt Couch here at The DC Patriot, he’s also an attorney who’s fighting alongside him for the truth in the Seth Rich murder saga. Now we have more big news to report as Clevenger, Couch, and others continue to fight the battle for the truth in this still unsolved murder.

For years the FBI lied and said they never investigated the murder, then last December they stated that they had over 20,000 documents relating to Seth Rich, a botched robbery and a murder they claimed they had never looked into. Of course they lied.

For years they made claims about Crowdstrike, the cybersecurity firm hired by the DNC that was allowed to take the servers instead of the FBI. They made claims of Russian hacking, which NSA Technical Director of 32+ years Bill Benny Shredded with his responses, and they just continued to try to spin a tail of deception and deceit to cover up the truth.

Then the FBI slipped up in a response to Judicial Watch, and it revealed email communications with Peter Strzok and Lisa Page discussing Seth Rich, and it started to unravel.

As We reported in mid-February 2020 how Attorney Ty Clevenger, who represents a client who is being sued for his comments about Seth Rich, reported to the courts that despite numerous assurances from the FBI that they had no information related to Seth Rich, emails related to Seth Rich were identified and provided to Judicial Watch. It looked like the FBI was lying to Clevenger all along.

In December the FBI admitted they had thousands of pages of information on Seth Rich. The documents were highly redacted when they were turned over to Attorney Ty Clevenger.

So Clevenger requested permission to review unredacted copies of all FBI documents on Seth Rich.

The FBI forgot to respond to Clevenger. This means, according to Clevenger, that any objection has been waived.

He is now demanding the unredacted documents.

Hobby Lobby Faces Backlash Over Newspaper Ad Calling For Christian-Run Government

Hobby Lobby is embroiled in another controversy after running a full-page advertisement in numerous newspapers throughout the United States on July 4 that appeared to advocate for a Christian-run government.

The arts and crafts giant’s ad, which ran in newspapers on Independence Day included the Bible verse “Blessed is the Nation whose God is the Lord,” was titled “One Nation Under God” — the ad posted about its campaign on its social media pages.

Hobby Lobby included statements from previous presidents who signed the Declaration of Independence in 1776, including George Washington, in their campaign, however the Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) said that the corporation changed the quotes without presenting the entire context.

In its ad, the company also appeared to quote former President John Adams saying: “We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion.”

“Our Constitution was made only for religious and moral people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”

Although Adams did utter those words, according to the FFRF, Hobby Lobby shuffled the position of the quotes around to make the phrases appear to follow one another, removing the context that the former president used “religious” and “moral” as synonyms throughout the said address being referenced.

Hobby Lobby also allegedly changed the arrangement of statements for Washington and claimed that it pulled sections of speeches for previous presidents Thomas Jefferson and John Quincy Adams out of context, according to FFRF, a non-profit group that works for atheists, agnostics, and non-theists.

The arts and craft company has been placing similar ads on US holidays since Hobby Lobby founder David Greene was “commissioned” by God to produce them in 1995, according to reports.

“Before long, Hobby Lobby was placing beautiful full-page ads celebrating the real meaning of Christmas, Easter, and Independence Day in newspapers across the country. The impact and relevance of these messages is ongoing,” the company said of the practice.

Backlash on social media

“@HobbyLobby is being attacked for running newspaper ads on July 4 titled, “One Nation Under God” w/the Bible verse, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” These ads have outraged enemies of God’s Word like the Freedom From Religion Foundation,” wrote Franklin Graham, President of Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.

Majorie Taylor Greene compares Biden door-to-door vaccination effort to Nazi 'brown shirts'

The firebrand freshman congresswoman earlier this year referenced the holocaust when talking about the Capitol Hill mask mandate.

GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is comparing the Biden administration's door-to-door effort to get more people vaccinated for COVID-19 to the Nazi-era "brown shirts" and says federal government cannot force people to participate in a human experiment.

Taylor made the comparison after the Biden White House said Tuesday it would embark on a door-to-door effort to get Americans vaccinated – as the the new variant of the virus, known as delta spreads in the U.S., and President Biden works to reach his goal of 70% of adult Americans getting a least on vaccination shot by early July.

"Biden pushing a vaccine that is NOT FDA approved shows covid is a political tool used to control people," Greene wrote on Twitter. "People have a choice, they don’t need your medical brown shirts showing up at their door ordering vaccinations."

Biden Relaxes COVID Safeguards for Migrants, Cracks Down on Agents

Border Patrol mandates masks for vaccinated agents

President Joe Biden insists that migrants pose no threat of spreading COVID-19 but treats Customs and Border Protection officials as superspreaders, according to interviews with agents and a review of agency documents.

The agency ordered vaccinated Border Patrol agents to wear masks when fulfilling a number of official duties, even as Biden begins winding down a Trump administration policy that gave the Department of Homeland Security and Customs and Border Protection broad authority to turn away migrants who may carry disease. The June 15 directive, signed by then-deputy chief Raul Ortiz, mandates that "fully vaccinated U.S. Border Patrol personnel, contractors, and visitors … [wear masks] in ‘operation settings … due to increased risk situations involving potential contact with detainees, employees, and the public.'"

Those "operation settings" encompass virtually all duties for agents who patrol the border, according to one official who spoke with the Washington Free Beacon. That is why, the official added, many supervisors have been ignoring the order, which also mandates that agents wear masks during "field training … where physical contact may be expected."

"It's definitely pissing off [CBP officers]," the official said. "That's probably why after [the directive came out] we were told by our supervisors not to worry about it and that they weren't going to enforce it."

On May 13, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced that fully vaccinated people no longer need to wear masks, whether they are indoors or outside. Biden also announced that White House staffers no longer needed to wear masks when in the office.

COVID-19 cases have surged in migrant detention facilities in the last several months as the Biden administration worked to reverse pandemic safety measures adopted by the Trump administration. According to data provided by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, over 40 percent of all COVID-19 cases, more than 7,500 in total, in those facilities since the pandemic began have been recorded from April to July of this year.

During Vice President Kamala Harris's trip to the border last month, however, multiple photos showed her wearing a mask when speaking outdoors to CBP officials. Those images raised the eyebrows of some CBP officials, who wondered about the optics of presenting a potentially hazardous situation at the border as the rest of the country begins returning to normal.

A spokeswoman for CBP did not dispute the language of the memo but said the agency does make some exceptions for vaccinated officers.

"In accordance with CDC guidance, CBP personnel who have been fully vaccinated are not required to wear a mask or physically distance in most circumstances (i.e., two weeks after receiving the last recommended vaccine dose)," the spokeswoman said when reached for comment by the Free Beacon.

Eight Sent to Prison in Togo’s First Piracy Trail

A court in Togo issued extensive prison sentences to eight maritime pirates on Monday for the attempted hijacking of a tanker ship in May of 2019. It’s the first time that pirates have been tried and sentenced in a country where maritime piracy has been an ongoing serious problem.

The Lomé Court of Appeal handed down a sentence of 15 years and a fine equivalent to US$90,000 to Nigerian Peter Paul, who was thought of as the “mastermind” of the pirate gang. He has also been banned from stepping foot in Togo for five years after his release.

The pirates attempted to hijack a tanker belonging to a Beninese shipowner that had been sailing on Togolese waters and flew the Togolese flag.

The gang took the crew hostage and searched for property, but the Togolese navy arrived in time to confront them.

"People should understand that piracy and armed robbery at sea will be punished. And for these sea offenses, we will be uncompromising," Attorney General Kodjo Gnambi Garba told Voice of America.

Six other members of the gang were sentenced to 12 years in prison and fined $45,000 each. An arrest warrant is out for one Ghanaian pirate, who remains at large and has been sentenced in absentia to 20 years in prison and a $90,000 fine.

One of the Togolese defendants was acquitted for his role in the hijacking.

Just under half of all sea kidnappings for ransom worldwide occur in the Gulf of Guinea, the 3,500 mile stretch of coastline that snakes around the continent’s eastern crook. The International Maritime Bureau reported in April that all 40 kidnapped crew incidents reported in the first quarter of 2021 took place there.

Before the pandemic, in 2019, nearly 100 attacks took place on the coast of West Africa. A mix of reasons contribute to the particular dangers of the West African coast, including widespread corruption and poverty in the twenty or so nations clustered along the coast, bountiful natural resources offshore, the absence of strong counterpiracy efforts, and the lucrative potential of piracy for many local fishermen put out of work by competing industrial fishing companies.

It’s possible that West African governments may be finally taking a stance against the persistent dangers that piracy poses. In May, shipping companies and international maritime associations applauded the launch of a Nigerian government-backed response to piracy and robbery in the Gulf of Guinea.

QAnon's new 'plan'? Run for school board

In the wake of Donald Trump's 2020 election defeat, many QAnon followers have hatched a plan: run for school board or local office, spread the gospel of Q, but don’t call it QAnon.

Drake Wuertz came to the school board meeting in Seminole County, Florida, in late June with a message familiar to those who had heard him speak at previous meetings: America's children are at risk of systemic abuse.

And the way to stop it is to run for local office.

"They’re being carried away through our education system, through the woke ideology that’s infiltrated professional sports, through the sexual grooming and pedophilia that’s apparent in the entertainment industry," Wuertz, 36, said in a video of the Seminole County School Board meeting posted by the district’s YouTube account. “We need to run for precinct committees, we need to run for City Council, run for school board and primary the RINOs in this room," he said, using an acronym for Republicans in Name Only.

It was the kind of claim he'd made before, touching on a wide variety of fringe theories about sex trafficking, including the false conspiracy theory that mask mandates “make it easier for sex traffickers to target kids in our community.” On his social media profiles in the last month, Wuertz posted pictures of Michael Flynn, the former general and national security adviser, and the "great awakening" — all hallmarks of the fringe QAnon conspiracy theory.
