John Kerry Flouts Mask Mandate at Logan Airport

Joe Biden’s ‘Special Climate Envoy’ John Kerry once again flouted the mask mandate while he was walking through Logan Airport on Monday.

John Kerry is above the law.

Kerry was photographed flying First Class on an American Airlines (commercial.. gasp) flight in March sans mask.

He lashed out at critics and said his mask was only “momentarily” down.

The Washington Free Beacon obtained new photos of John Kerry waltzing through the body scanner at Logan Airport in Boston without a face mask on.

A spokeswoman for Logan Airport told the Free Beacon that masks are required “any time someone is inside the airport or on an aircraft,” including during security screening, in accordance with the TSA mandate.

The White House did not respond to a request for comment. President Joe Biden appointed Kerry last year to serve as his special presidential envoy for climate, a cabinet-level position.

Biden implemented the TSA airport mask requirement through an executive order in January. As part of the mandate, TSA said it would recommend a $250 fine for first-time violators and an up to $1,500 fine for “repeat offenders.”

A spokeswoman for the TSA declined to comment on the specific incident but told the Free Beacon the requirement “remains in effect” on planes and in airports and “applies to all passengers, save for those specifically exempted in the security directive”—passengers under the age of two, for example, or those who have health issues that would preclude them from wearing face coverings.

Former Planned Parenthood CEO: Vaccination Not ‘Individual Decision’

“Vaccination isn’t just an individual decision, but one that affects the health of others – including those already vaccinated,” wrote the former CEO of Planned Parenthood in a column at the Washington Post Tuesday.

Dr. Leana Wen, who also once served as Baltimore’s health commissioner, scolded President Joe Biden for missing “an important opportunity” – a White House event on Independence Day – to mandate COVID vaccinations for all attendees.

Wen criticized Biden’s COVID-19 Coordinator, Jeff Zients, who referred to vaccination as an “individual choice” while appearing on CNN:

This feeds into a “live and let live” attitude that has been used to question why someone should care about another person’s vaccination status. After all, if vaccines protect the person receiving it, then why should they care if others choose not to have it?

Wen said she is concerned about young children, such as her own, who are not yet eligible to receive COVID vaccines, but could come into contact with unvaccinated people.

She then appeared to focus on her primary concern for vaccinated individuals:

If everyone around them is also vaccinated, the chance of them being infected and then contracting covid-19 is virtually nil. On the other hand, if they’re in multiple settings every day where they are constantly surrounded by unvaccinated people, the risk of getting infected increases. Risk is additive, so the more unvaccinated people they’re exposed to, and the higher the rate of coronavirus in their community, the higher the risk.

However, Rochelle Walensky, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), said last week that vaccinated Americans are “safe” from even the coronavirus variants.

“If you are vaccinated, you are safe from the variants that are circulating here in the United States,” Walensky said during an appearance on Today.

After stating “risk is additive,” Wen then went on to defend the COVID vaccines:

This is no way refutes the effectiveness of covid-19 vaccines. All three U.S.-authorized vaccines are extremely protective against severe disease. More than 99 percent of people dying from covid-19 are unvaccinated. That’s testament to the extraordinary power of the vaccines.

Hillary Clinton Claims Election Integrity Bills Are Move Toward ‘White Supremacist Authoritarianism’

Former Secretary of State and twice-failed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton claimed Wednesday that Republican-led voter integrity bills in several states represent a “clear attempt to move away from a pluralistic, multi-racial democracy and toward white supremacist authoritarianism.”

The Hill notes notes:

Clinton’s comments come amid a widespread effort in GOP-led states — including Georgia, Florida and Arizona —to pass limits on mail-in voting, new voter ID requirements and other restrictions in the wake of the 2020 presidential election. At least 14 states enacted 22 new laws between Jan. 1 and May 14 of this year that limit voting access, according to the Brennan Center for Justice.

“Each of these proposals disproportionately prevents people of color from casting their ballots, and each is egregious in its own right,” Clinton wrote in an op-ed for Democracy Docket.

“Much of the blame for this backsliding rests with the Supreme Court, which, thanks to the election of President Trump, is even more hostile to voting rights today than it was when it gutted a crucial provision of the Voting Rights Act in 2013. But the problem is more insidious,” she added.

Clinton then branded the move to pass such bills as a “concerted attempt to destabilize the democratic process and delegitimize our multi-racial democracy,” before claiming that they are “no different from the Jim Crow past.”

“The emboldening of white supremacists and conspiracy theorists during Trump’s campaign and time in the White House along with the international movement against liberal democracy have exacerbated this perfect storm,” Clinton wrote.

“When the people make their voices heard in an election, we should respect the results. These aren’t partisan statements; they’re attributes of a functioning democracy,” she concluded.

Last month, Department of Justice sued Georgia, alleging the Peach State’s election law violates the Voting Rights Act’s protections for minority voters.

At the time, Attorney General Merrick Garland called the lawsuit “the first of many steps we are taking to ensure that all eligible voters can cast a vote, that all lawful votes are counted, and that every voter has access to accurate information.”

Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R) has repeatedly slammed the DOJ’s suit, vowing to defeat it in court.

“This lawsuit is born out of the lies and misinformation the Biden administration has pushed against Georgia’s Election Integrity Act from the start,” Kemp said.

“Joe Biden, Stacey Abrams, and their allies tried to force an unconstitutional elections power grab through Congress – and failed. Now, they are weaponizing the U.S. Department of Justice to carry out their far-left agenda that undermines election integrity and empowers federal government overreach in our democracy.”

Sky News Shows Taliban Seizing Abandoned US Bases & "Treasure Trove" Of Weapons, Ammo

Simultaneous to global headlines spotlighting the hasty "in the middle of the night" US forces quitting Bagram airbase for good, which briefly resulted in looting as Afghan security was caught by surprise, Sky News has aired exclusive shocking footage of the Taliban seizing freshly abandoned US bases (or perhaps not-so-shocking considering the constant follies of America's longest ever war).

"The Taliban are on the march and gaining territory at an astonishing rate," the Sky News segment narratives. "They smell victory," the report says. "They want to show us the treasure trove of military riches they seized with it."

That's right - Taliban militants will gear up for the expected offensive on Kabul and other key parts of the country with fresh US-supplied RPGs, rifles, and ammo that were hastily abandoned by exiting US forces.

"Many of these boxes supplied by Americans haven't even been opened before the Taliban got to them," the Sky report continues.

A Taliban commander was heard saying, "It does help us a lot to have a lot of new weapons to use in battle." He went on to estimate some 900 guns obtained from one US base alone, as well as 30 armored Humvees and 30 pick-up trucks. Likely thousands more have been collected elsewhere. This as the Pentagon has estimated some 90% of US forces have now departed.

Meanwhile, as BBC reports the Taliban continues gobbling up territory:

The Taliban have entered a key city in western Afghanistan as they continue a rapid advance before Nato troops leave.

All government officials in Qala-e-Naw, provincial capital of Badghis province, had been moved to a nearby army base, the local governor told the BBC.

He said the militants were moving "towards the center of the city" and there was heavy fighting with government troops.

And they are freeing prisoners everywhere they go - adding more terrorists to their ranks: "Local sources told the BBC the Taliban moved on the prison in Qala-e-Naw and freed about 400 inmates, including more than 100 of the group's fighters."

And then there's this key line in the BBC report, strongly suggesting precisely what disasters await and are imminent across much of the country: "Afghan forces guarding the prison are reported to have surrendered without a fight."

This after US intelligence and defense previously warned that Kabul could fall within six months. Or perhaps it'll be more like six weeks at this rate.
