LA County authorities seize $1 billion in weed in historic takedown

Los Angeles County authorities confiscated $1 billion of illegally grown marijuana last month — the largest takedown of its kind in the county, officials announced Wednesday.

The weed was seized from cartel-run illegal grow operations in the Antelope Valley during a 10-day sting in June, officials said.

The multi-law enforcement agency bust resulted in 131 arrests and netted 373,000 plants.

Last month’s takedown squandered 205 illegal grow operations.

Despite the massive pot haul, many more illegal grows remain in the area that has seen an uptick in illicit operations during the coronavirus pandemic, officials said.

California legalized recreational marijuana sales in January 2018.

The state’s legal cannabis industry is being hindered by the cartel-run operations, which also pose environmental threats.

Buck was charged with three counts of battery causing serious injury, administering methamphetamine and maintaining a drug house, according to the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office. Buck is accused of injecting the victim, who survived, with methamphetamine on Sept. 11.

Democratic megadonor Ed Buck, who is about to stand trial in the drugging deaths of two men, lured a stream of young participants to his West Hollywood apartment where they were injected with methamphetamine and played sexual fetish games, federal prosecutors said.

One victim went to Buck’s apartment to model underwear and ingested a drink “that made him feel paralyzed and when he started to come to, he saw Buck injecting him with something,” according to a U.S. attorney’s office pretrial memo filed on Friday. The victim met Buck through an online advertisement to “host a party,” which was understood to mean drug use and sex.

Buck, 66, has been charged with six counts of methamphetamine distribution, including two cases of death, two counts of interstate prostitution, and one count of operating a drug den. The trial starts July 13 and is expected to last eight days. The charge of distribution of methamphetamine resulting in death carries a 20-year mandatory minimum sentence and a maximum of life imprisonment.

TEXAS: Conservatives Slam Abbott for Refusing to Push Legislation Banning Child Sex Changes During Special Session

Texas Governor Greg Abbott has been slammed by a number of conservatives for refusing to push legislation banning child sex changes during a special session of the state’s legislature.

On Wednesday, Abbott published his priority list for the special session of the Texas legislature. While including some conservative ideas, such as election integrity, and border protection, notably absent from the list was any legislative plans to ban child sex change surgeries in the state. Abbott, along with Lt. Governor Dan Patrick, and House Speaker Dade Phelan, were apparently behind plans to kill such legislation in the original session, including HB 1399, which would have stripped doctors of their ability to acquire liability insurance if they engaged in child transgender surgeries or chemical castrations at their practices.

Tim Swain, the America First senate candidate running to replace Tim Scott in South Carolina, said it was “disgraceful” that Abbott was not willing to legislate against child sex changes. “If you cannot drink alcohol before age 21, you should not be able to change your gender,” Swain tweeted. “Protect our children!” Popular conservative news account Columbia Bugle also slammed Abbott, suggesting he should copy Arkansas’s SAFE Act.

Both of Abbott’s conservative challengers during for the Texas Governorship spoke out against the plans. “Abbott’s refusal to add legislation to the call that protects vulnerable Texas children from Left-wing sickos who want to cause them irreversible harm and legislation banning the use of taxpayer dollars to lobby the legislature are glaring omissions that show how far out of touch he is with everyday Texans,” said Don Huffines, who has stood by the father of James Younger, who identifies as a boy with his father but is being forced to wear dresses and identify as a girl by his mother.

Lt. Col. Allen West, who joined the gubernatorial race a few days ago after months of leading the charge against child gender modification via his role as the Chairman of the Texas GOP, had further harsh words for Abbott. “First of all, if the 87th legislative session was a resounding success, why does one need to have a special session?” West queried. “I found it very disconcerting that several of the Legislative Priorities of the Republican Party of Texas such as ending taxpayer-funded lobbying, school choice, monument protection, and ending child gender modification were not listed as agenda items.”

Five international judges are examining evidence of child rape, torture, murder and kidnapping allegedly done by global elite members of the Ninth Circle Satanic Child Sacrifice Cult network.

Regular Ninth Circle child sacrifices were said to take place in the catacombs of Catholic Cathedrals, the Vatican, on private estates and groves and government military bases in Belgium, Holland, Spain, Australia, Ireland, France, England and the US.

At least 34 child mass grave sites were identified in Ireland, Spain and Canada – and refused excavation by the respective governments, Crown of England and Catholic Church.

Opium poppy plantations located by the military up 26% in one year ==

Once a staple crop for drug traffickers, marijuana is giving way to the opium poppy.

Between 2016 and 2017, the amount of land on which opium poppy plantations were discovered and destroyed by the Mexican Army grew by 26%, from 22,235 to 28,221 hectares.

During the same period, land on which marijuana plantations were located dropped 24%, from 5,395 to 4,086 hectares.

Profit is one of the main drivers behind the larger opium poppy production and its increase, military sources told the newspaper Reforma.

According to figures from the federal Attorney General’s office (PGR), drug traffickers earn US $80 per kilogram of marijuana, while the same amount of heroin — an opium byproduct — can be sold for $35,000.

Mexico is now the third largest producer of opium poppies in the world, behind only the Asian countries of Afghanistan and Myanmar, according to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).

Guerrero is the state with the largest amount of land dedicated to growing poppies, followed by the Golden Triangle states of Durango, Sinaloa and Chihuahua.

Military officials believe the states of Oaxaca, Michoacán, Nayarit, Jalisco and Sonora are red flag areas, given the growth seen in the number of opium poppy plantations over the last three years.

The United States State Department acknowledged in April that it intended to fund a redoubled opium poppy eradication program after detecting a surge in recent years.

This comes at a time when the number of overdose-related deaths in that country reached record levels. In 2015, there were 54,404 such deaths, or 149 per day.

Report: Britney Spears’ Mom Asks Judge For Daughter’s Right To Hire Private Lawyer In Conservatorship Battle

Britney Spears’ mom, Lynne Spears, has reportedly stepped into the conservatorship battle and asked a judge to allow her daughter to hire a private lawyer.

The 39-year-old pop singer’s mom reportedly filed court documents stating that the circumstances, that originally existed 13 years ago when the conservatorship was set up, have changed, TMZ reported in a piece published Wednesday.

Lynne’s lawyer said the “Toxic” hitmaker can now care for herself and provided several examples.

The documents reportedly explained how Britney “had to perform in front of millions of people, has had to manage hundreds of performances, has had to use her artistic and creative talents to prepare for shows by choreographing each and every move for and interacting with many co-performers, and has had to rehearse and perform for many thousands of hours over the years.”

Lynne Spears’ lawyer reportedly pointed out a list of 10 demands made by the superstar singer during her explosive testimony in which she called the conservatorship, owned by her father Jamie, “abusive” and more.

In the documents obtained by the outlet, Lynne asked either for the court’s permission to let Britney pick her own legal counsel or for the court to appoint a lawyer that Britney finds acceptable.

On Tuesday, reports surfaced the singer’s court-appointed lawyer, Samuel Ingham III, had asked to resign. He had been representing her during the entirety of the 13 years conservatorship.

Lynne requested a hearing on the matter set for July 14.

Deranged tyrant nominated to head ATF says anyone uttering “hate speech” online should have all their guns confiscated by armed federal agents

One of the problems with having Marxists in the White House is that they tend to choose left-wing extremists to serve the administration, and that is certainly the case when it comes to David Chipman, the man the Biden regime has nominated to serve as director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF).

For one, Chipman only seems concerned about the “firearms” part of his regulatory position.

In an obscure interview with the BBC in 2019, Chipman came out and said that anyone who posts “hate speech” online ought to be subjected to having their firearms confiscated by armed federal agents, because the First Amendment and Second Amendment to the Constitution, he suggests by default, are not inalienable rights but rather those that are only granted by government.

“We really need to do more to monitor hate speech on the internet,” Chipman argued, going on to suggest that then-President Donald Trump’s speech was hateful as well and should also be regulated.

“But we also have to do more to curb that same speech being presented by our president and other elected public officials,” he went on.

Questions: Who are “we” and what “more,” exactly, should be done?

“The FBI, other federal agencies, have a tough job responding to these threats when they don’t currently (our emphasis) have the authority to remove weaponry just because people are saying hateful things,” he added.

Of course, “hateful things” is very often in the eye of the beholder, and when that speech arbiter happens to be a well-armed federal agency, that gets really worrisome really quickly.

It’s bad enough that a guy like Chipman has even been nominated to lead one of those armed federal agencies, but this guy literally would have jailed our founding fathers for their “hate speech” about liberty and freedom against the British Crown’s tyranny while at the same time confiscating their firearms.

The framers literally wrote and states literally ratified the First and Second Amendments to be able to be a) critical of government; and b) armed while being critical of government. Chipman and those in government like him want to punish Americans in the same way King George did before the American Revolution.

State Patrol And Other Agencies Arrest Two For Sex Crimes

One man was charged with crimes against children and child trafficking, and the other for promoting prostitution.

TACOMA, WA —The Washington State Patrol (WSP) has announced the arrests of two men - one on child trafficking charges and the other for promoting prostitution-resulting from a collaborative, multi-jurisdictional effort that involved the WSP's Missing and Exploited Children Task Force (MECTF), Seattle Police, Tacoma Police, FBI and Department of Homeland Security.

The first man, from Tuckwila, was taken into custody on June 29 at a location in Tacoma, where he had arranged to meet and allegedly have sex with two children, ages 10 and 12. The man also had been arrested this past January in Pierce County, when he arrived at a location to have sex with a 13 year old.

The suspect had no criminal record before his first arrest, and has been charged with crimes against children and human trafficking-related crimes.

The second suspect also was arrested on June 29, when he transported an 18-year-old female to a location to allegedly pay her for sexual favors. The man was charged with 2nd-degree promoting prostitution.

The female was not charged, but was offered advocacy services before being released. She previously had been contacted in a similar situation as a 16 year old.

"Sexual crimes against children are often committed by people with no previous criminal record," said Chief John R. Batiste of the WSP. "Sadly, they have been able to offend without detection for too long, so stopping them as soon as we possibly can is important to the safety of all children."

According to a release, the MECTF's primary mission is to proactively target individuals involved in child abuse and child exploitation via the internet.

"The hard work by the dedicated professionals to locate and arrest individuals whose sole purpose was to cause harm to children, is a testament to (the officers') commitment to diligently serving the public in their efforts to protect the children of our state," said Captain Mike Edwards, of the Seattle Police Department and a commander on the Washington State Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.

County Officials are terrified and releasing ridiculous statements in order to deter auditors from finishing this audit.

Auditors are still waiting to receive subpoenaed routers and passwords from Maricopa County to finish this audit.

If the County does not comply, there will be consequences.
