What a racket. The only purpose of this "bust" is to prop up prices and protect state-sanctioned producers at the expense of consumers.

The additional money consumers spend on cannabis due to higher prices resulting from the restricted supply (vs static demand) could have been used to purchase goods and services from other businesses, thus benefiting those consumers and the economy at large.

This government is a joke.
