Q, I would suggest removing the "utm" tracking parameters from posted links. The same advice for all anons posting links.

What are utm tracking parameters?

It's a method publicized to be an asset for marketing agents to track campaigns. The user data scraped is linked directly to GOOG analytics.

It allows GOOG to be able to tell WHERE the link-clickers come from as well as what campaign directed them to the site.

GOOG cannot currently be trusted, no matter how nice the language used to promote the convenience of their tools.

We don't need GOOG to have even the slightest chance to determine and profile the anons here through their systems and partnerships.

Firefox has a great addon (link below) for automatic removal of utm, with the advantage to add more tracking parameters by hand. Note, there are other addons available for this purpose, but this is the best I found, and utilize, thus far:

Above is best used in conjunction with the "Don't Track Me Google" userscript or addon found through the creator's link below, that can be applied to any browser that can install the Greasemonkey, Tampermonkey or Violentmonkey addons. This removes the GOOG automatic link-conversions they use for tracking users across the web. The script is open source, anons can analyze it at will

Of course uBlock Origin, uMatrix, NoScript / Scriptsafe and Cookies Exterminator (which auto-deletes per-site cookies, local storage and IndexDB, all commonly leveraged for tracking purposes) are highly recommended to round out and greatly enhance browser security and replace control back into the hands of users.
