>Who would hide and or harbor true scriptures, and where?

God hid them. It is called the 'mystery, hidden from the beginning' (Eph 3:9)

Jesus hid them. He spoke in parables so that they would not understand, until after the cross.

>Interpretations are subjective. Like a bad game of telephone.

They have been. The hermeneutic referred to as 'sensus plenior' removes subjectivity and free-for-all allegory.

>Why couldn't the disciples remember?

They weren't supposed to until after the cross. Christ had to die alone. They didn't even remember that he had said he woulld rise from the grave.

25 Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:

26 Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?

27 And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.
