Biden fires Social Security boss, a Trump appointee who refused to resign
Resident Joe Biden on Friday fired the head of the Social Security Administration after the official, who was appointed by President Donald Trump, refused to resign.
The White House said the Social Security commissioner, Andrew Saul, “undermined and politicized” the agency’s benefits, among other things that warranted his firing.
The Resident has appointed Kilolo Kijakazi as acting commissioner.

A new national telephone and online survey by Rasmussen Reports finds that 58% of Likely U.S. Voters at least somewhat agree that the media are “truly the enemy of the people,” including 34% who Strongly Agree. Thirty-six percent (36%) don’t agree, including 23% who Strongly Disagree.
