I'm not sure the drone or the geothermal plants are connected to the earthquake swarm, although they could be.
But look what I found right on top of the swarm…a military training area with a warning zone for dangers to aviation.
I wonder if this is Marine artillery practice with some stuff that ain't Grandpappy's 155mm shells. Something with a little more ooomph.

Any heavy weapons range is likely to produce a lot of low level stuff depending on what they're testing or practicing with.
This swarm makes me wonder if they're testing tunnel busters or artillery, or maybe it's just one of those random flukes and is actually an organic swarm. Something tells me that it occurring over a mountain warfare training center with a huge danger zone mapped out means it's manmade. Just what and how are the wonder points.

Sorry Anon, you're right. There are TWO active swarms ongoing in California right now. I was focused on the one on the Nevada border south of Tahoe.
There is another one WNW of Sacramento and you're right…it's smack in the middle of a bunch of very large geothermal plants and that is right where the drone was/is working presently.
Both swarms appear to be manmade. We love the planet so much.
Interdasting. The China Lake thing, especially a string of less than 1.0s looks like a bombing run. I usually filter for 2.5+ daily and 4.5+ weekly. Too many little ones to keep up with. Hardcore QF can plot them and what the sun's doing and the weather and even predict them. I'm way below that level.
Ben Davidson of Supicious 0bservers is probably the best in the game. Puts USGS to shame.
