US President Donald Trump’s decision May 8 to withdraw from the nuclear pact and reinstate sanctions on Iran comes as a major blow to the Turkish business world.

Turkish investments and trade hadn't really had a chance to benefit much yet from the 2015 agreement that lifted sanctions on Iran. The annual trade volume between Turkey and Iran had fallen steadily from 2012 — when it peaked at $22 billion because of Turkey’s gold exports — through 2016. The decline after 2012 could be attributed to sanctions and political tensions linked to Syria and Iraq. Nevertheless, after the Iran sanctions were lifted, its trade volume with Turkey — which was $9.8 billion in 2015 — slipped to $9.7 billion in 2016. Volume didn't exceed $10.7 billion in 2017.

Just because a US citizen is Jewish does not make them a dual citizen of Israel. They would have to apply and move here and after a certain amount of time they can go back and forth. Most Reform/Secular Jews have a hatred of Judaism and get sucked into Social Justice and worse. The best thing you could do is encourage Jewish people to keep the Torah. They are very successful and when they are not doing what they are supposed to be doing… they can be very successful in bad things as well.

You misunderstand Judaism - a religion and nationality. Abraham was the first convert. Out of Egypt a 'mixed multitude' joined the Jewish people and God gave them equality as the natural born. This has been throughout history of the Jewish people. Converts welcome, but Jews wary due to treatment from pogroms, nazis etc. Some Khazars did convert. But Ashkenazi Jews came from Mediteranean area taking convert wives throughout Europe and Russia. see DNA studies.

As for the political make up of Israel. The predominance of Socialist secular has steadily declined. when i say religious Jews, that include traditional and conservative as well. The Labor party, remnant of the past is tiny. the major parties are conservative.
