Planefagging consists of multiple components. One is watching the planes and their movements. The second, equally or possibly more important, is to learn the missions of different planes, to put some meaning to the observed movements. That second part calls for a digger mentality and is challenging.
Smaller websites don't receive much traffic unless Google or other search engine allows them to rise in the search results. Google paid website promotion puts paying customers higher in the search results.
It's a business model.
