But once they realized that even if they write a story that had mistakes no one called it out, so they kept "making mistakes" adding shit that THEY wanted in the History

God kept giving them chances to fix it, but they just kept doing it more & more to the point they are mocking God at this point.

So basically, if they really were Gods chosen people, they fucked it up by being their true selves.
