Gungnir, The spear of Odin which means 'tremble' in Old Norse, and was made by the dwarves/elves, the master craftsmen of Norse mythology. According to one story, the dwarves/elves made the spear for Odin specially, and forged it from sunlight.

Gungnir was so accurate that it never missed the target and would magically return to Odins right hand after hitting it's mark.

It is where the modern English term for "Gun" (Gungnir) is derived from.
