There was not any Iran deal to begin with? LOL – the "deal" was never signed! Here's Jake Sullivan, who was participating the negotiations and who is now Co-Chair of National Security Action, telling about it. This is probably not heard correctly, please correct if misleading.

Scott Perry: Who from the United States signed it?

Jake Sullivan: Nobody signed the agreement.

Perry: Iran signed it?

Sullivan: No, as I've said a couple of times now there were no signatures.

Sullivan: We didn't want to have to sign it because we wanted to maintain maximum flexibility.

  • Here's some timeline material for Iran deal. Sullivan helped.

Quote:

"The United States began a tentative outreach shortly after Mr Obama’s inauguration in January 2009. Mr Obama and Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, exchanged letters, but the engagement yielded no results.

Oman’s Sultan Qaboos was a key player, facilitating the release of the hikers in late 2010 and 2011 and then offering himself as a mediator for a US-Iran rapprochement. The secret informal discussions between mid-level officials in Washington and Tehran began."

"The early contacts were exploratory discussions, officials said. They included exchanges between then US Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice, now Mr Obama’s national security adviser, and Iran’s envoy to the world body.

"The talks took on added weight eight months ago, when Mr Obama dispatched Mr Burns, Mr Sullivan and five other officials to meet with their Iranian counterparts in the Omani capital of Muscat."

  • Jake Sullivan defending Iran deal:

"Sullivan on the Iran deal going forward: 'I believe that job number one today – and I think the Israeli intelligence and military establishment would agree with this – is not to try to enter a renegotiation on the nuclear deal, which I think is on sound footing right now. Iran is in compliance…'"
