Lied to about everything going on in the world, and the first generation to be raised in front of the television, completely entranced by it.
Subverted and demoralized at every turn, taught to reject their parents and the hard-learned lessons of their ancestors in support of all kinds of psyops.
Of course, by the time they had children, they had no fucking clue what they were doing, and were mostly preoccupied with work, consumerism, pop culture, etc.
Plopped their kids in front of their beloved tvs instead of doing the heavy lifting.
Many children of Boomers practically raised themselves, which imo turned out better for them.
We know much more truth now than they ever were allowed to for most of their lives.
The tides are turning, however.
The economy is fucked. More than half of millennials live with their parents. Not because they're weak necessarily. They're highly educated and capable. But because of significant inflation in cost of living and lack of adequate jobs.
Maybe they were educated in a bunch of bullshit (including Einstein), but they were educated, in numbers never seen before. No other generation was pushed into getting college degrees as much as the millennials, who were told it was the new high school diploma, and that a high school education wouldn't get them a job. Little did they know, neither would a college education. And education was many times more expensive as when their parents went.
I didn't say they were smart. Just educated. And capable as in capable of doing jobs and buying houses and starting families, just aren't really able to due to financial reasons.
…And Americans of all age are brainwashed and indoctrinated in all kinds of ways. We're just dealing with it differently.
I'm a millennial, but I don't claim to speak for everyone in my generation.
I thought I knew about things and the world when I graduated from college. I worked really hard. I studied philosophy.
Then, I slowly learned that everything I knew was wrong. I began my re-education, which has led me to this board and the Anons experiencing this collective awakening.
We would do better to help each other and recognize each other's potential contributions to the cause instead of inter-generational division-fagging.

The punctuation could be improved, more than anything. Particularly in the last sentence. Strive for clarity first, and fancy words secondly.
