It is time to hold these NGO's accountable for their wanton slaughter of migrants for money

https://www.newsweek.com/over-1100-migrants-have-died-2021-attempting-sea-crossing-europe-un-1609605?

At least 1,146 people died while attempting to reach Europe by sea during the first six months of 2021, the U.N. migration agency said in a report on Wednesday.

According to the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the number of migrants and refugees who died between January and June of this year more than doubled compared to the first six months of 2020. It also reported the number of people attempting to cross the Mediterranean into Europe had increased by 58 percent.

As many shipwrecks are not reported and accidents at sea can be difficult to verify, the agency said the actual number of deaths may be far higher than stated in the report, the Associated Press reported.

Nuclear Bitcoin

https://www.bnnbloomberg.ca/bitcoin-miners-seek-to-go-nuclear-to-address-environmental-woes-1.1628861

Bloomberg) – Amid a heated debate over Bitcoin’s environmental toll, two companies say they have an answer on mitigating some of the negative effects: Nuclear energy.

Power startup Oklo Inc. said it’s partnering with Bitcoin mining and hosting firm Compass Mining to introduce advanced fission to the energy-intensive process of minting new coins. It’s an effort, the companies say, to reduce fossil-fuel emissions from Bitcoin mining and to diversify energy sources used by the miners, who compete to verify transactions in exchange for new coins.

“Bitcoin is a huge market opportunity for clean energy generation, especially looking forward for new generation systems,” said Oklo Chief Executive Officer Jacob DeWitte, who founded the company with Caroline Cochran in 2013.

Oklo, based in Sunnyvale, Calif., said its advanced fission reactors will be able to start supplying clean energy sometime in the early 2020s, according to a statement Wednesday. It plans to provide Compass with at least 150 megawatts of clean power in the first phase of the 20-year partnership. Terms weren’t disclosed.

Thats weird

https://www.mercurynews.com/2021/07/14/bolsonaro-hospitalized-for-exams-after-abdominal-pain/

Brazil President Jair Bolsonaro was admitted to the hospital for exams with abdominal pain after more than 10 days of hiccups.

Bolsonaro is in good spirits and doing well, the presidency’s press office wrote in a statement. He will remain under medical observation for a period of 24 to 48 hours to investigate the cause of persistent hiccups, though not necessarily in the hospital. A person familiar with the president’s situation said he complained about pain in the abdomen before being taken for exams.

The hiccups could be associated to medication Bolsonaro has taken after a recent tooth implant or esophagus irritation following a series of abdomen surgeries he was submitted to since his stabbing during the campaign trail in 2018, according to medical experts.

They did stop prosecuting the crime, that might skew the numbers a bit

San Francisco has countered claims that crime is spiraling out of control in the city after a video showing a brazen raid on a department store went viral earlier this month.

NBC News reports that authorities had pointed out that data shows overall thefts are down by nine per cent in the first six months of the year compared to the same period in 2020

The data reveals that aggravated assaults, homicides and incidents with guns have risen but shows the overall numbers of violent and property crimes have fallen by 5 per cent respectively.

"The statistics are counter to the narrative," San Francisco Police Chief William Scott said at a news conference according to the broadcaster.

"Sadly, as it relates to crime, we’ve gotten a lot of negative attention,” Mayor London Breed added.

Here come the Tax increases

In a letter sent today, Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) wrote to the committee’s chairman, Ron Wyden (D-Ore.), that the “bombshell” and “deeply troubling” report requires an investigation into “how the nation’s wealthiest individuals are using a series of legal tax loopholes to avoid paying their fair share of income taxes.” The senators also requested that the Senate hold hearings and develop legislation to address the loopholes’ “impact on the nation’s finances and ability to pay for investments in infrastructure, health care, the economy, and the environment.”

https://thefederalist.com/2021/07/14/dr-faucis-emails-tell-the-story-of-how-he-lied-to-the-american-people-about-covid-19/

Recently released e-mails show that Dr. Anthony Fauci knew key facts about the origins of COVID-19 in January 2020. But at that critical time, when the country was first learning about the virus, Dr. Fauci chose not to share the facts with Americans. Instead, he acted to conceal them.

On January 31, 2020, at 10:32 p.m., Dr. Fauci received an email from British researcher, Dr. Kristian Andersen. Dr. Andersen has received millions of dollars in grants from the NIH. In the email, he warned Dr. Fauci:

[O]ne has to look really closely at all the sequences to see that some of the features (potentially) look engineered . . . Eddie [Holmes], Bob [Garry], Mike [Ferguson] and myself all find the genome inconsistent with evolutionary theory.

Two hours later, at 12:29 a.m. on February 1, Dr. Fauci emailed his long-time deputy, Dr. Hugh Auchincloss. In the email, Dr. Fauci attached a paper written by Dr. Ralph Baric and Dr. Zhengli-Li Shi – the so-called “bat woman” from Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV). The paper highlighted taxpayer-funded gain-of-function research on coronaviruses conducted by the WIV. Dr. Fauci told Dr. Auchincloss:

It is essential that we speak this [morning]. Keep your cell phone on . . . read this paper . . . you will have tasks today that must be done.

Urgency. Intensity.

Two hours later, at 2:48 a.m., Dr. Fauci sent another email, to Dr. Robert Kadlec. Dr. Kadlec was the Trump-appointed Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response at the Department of Health and Human Services. Attached to this email was an article that downplayed the lab leak and advocated for an evolutionary origin to COVID-19. Dr. Fauci simply wrote:

Bob: This came out today. Gives a balanced view.

No urgency. No intensity.

Washington Post: “To pay for these changes, Congressional Democrats are pursuing a slew of tax hikes on the rich and corporations, as well as major changes to the IRS to close the ‘tax gap’ — the difference between what taxpayers owe and what they pay.”

“Other major new sources of revenue include raising the top marginal tax rate, increasing the corporate tax rate, and changes to the international tax system, among other potential measures.”

https://spectator.org/left-hate-america/

The Left Hate America, And They Hate You

Tearing down our country is their reason for existing.

The authoritarian Left hate America, or at least America in its current form. This is not an opinion, nor is it merely an observation. This is not an attempt at hyperbole or sensationalism, nor is it some “vast right-wing conspiracy,” as Hillary Clinton might call it.

It is a simple reality that is evidenced by the Left’s blatant attempts to cancel all dissenters, silence or censor all opposing views, shut down debate, and impose their radical, divisive, and destructive policies and viewpoints on every American institution, from government to education to Hollywood to professional sports to corporations to the Fourth Estate.

Simply put, the Left hate our history, and they hate our flag and everything that it represents. They believe America is irredeemable and will forever be tainted as a racist country, even as thousands of Cuban protesters proudly wave the American flag and demand they be given freedom by their own communist government. To paraphrase the late great UCLA football coach Henry Russell Sanders, for the Left “racism isn’t everything, it’s the only thing.”
