The US has not seen a major infrastructure failure in years. Then suddenly when the Dems want to push for 'infrastructure' (read social engineering more than infrastructure) suddenly a bridge in DC and a condo in FL collapse within weeks of one another.

I don't recall the last time the US saw a building experience spontaneous catastrophic failure, if ever.
