2. So they "donote those empty seats "to promote black participation" (via BLM, NAACP, etc)

3.a. Write off the donation from their taxes as a charitable contribution?

…that said…MLB could still get the (full face value) tax writeoff just by donating the tickets

to a non-profit - doesn't matter if anyone actually uses them or not
