So I just saw something about the launch of a "freedom phone". I'd seriously be interested in a product that would not allow interference from tyrants. However, I would like to know how this could be accomplished and allowed to be used in the US.

My bottom lines: 1. Anyone surveilling me for any reason without evidence of a serious crime and without a warrant is violating my privacy. 2. Any technology I use going forward should be within my ability to comprehend, meaning I have full knowledge of it's capacities and should be either reparable by me directly or by someone of my choosing local to me.
