Federal Prosecutor Deliberately Delayed Hunter Biden Probe To Shield 2020 Election

U.S. Department of Justice officials deliberately delayed an investigation into Hunter Biden’s potential tax law violations and sketchy overseas business dealings because of the effect it could have on the presidential election, according to a Politico report.

Delaware’s U.S. Attorney David Weiss allegedly postponed allowing prosecutors to obtain search warrants and issue grand jury subpoenas last summer, after facing pressure from other officials who feared the investigation’s influence on the 2020 presidential election and now-President Joe Biden’s campaign.

“They advised [him] to avoid taking any actions that could alert the public to the existence of the case in the middle of a presidential election,” reported Politico, one of the many corporate media outlets that brushed off the possibility of any wrongdoing by Hunter despite the discovery of his incriminating laptop.

US Air Force is dispatching dozens of F-22 fighter jets to the Pacific amid tensions with China

The United States Air Force is sending more than two dozen F-22 stealth fighters to an exercise in the western Pacific this month, an unusually large deployment of the powerful jets that analysts say sends a strong message to a possible adversary in China.

Pacific Air Forces in Hawaii this week said approximately 25 F-22s Raptors from the Hawaii Air National Guard and from Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, will deploy this month to Guam and Tinian islands for Operation Pacific Iron 2021. “We have never had this many Raptors deployed together in the Pacific Air Forces area of operations,” Gen. Ken Wilsbach, Pacific Air Forces commander, told CNN.

The F-22s are fifth-generation combat jets, the world’s most advanced fighter aircraft, incorporating stealth technologies and connecting onboard sensor systems with off-board information systems to give their pilots a detailed view of the battlespace. US F-35s are another example.

Terry McAuliffe Fundraised For Virginia Democrat Who Was Jailed After Sex Scandal With Minor

Virginia Democrat gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe fundraised for a state lawmaker who served time in jail after a scandal involving sex with a minor.

In 2019, the former governor (who is seeking reelection) appeared at a campaign event for Democrat and then-candidate for Virginia’s state Senate Joe Morrissey. While serving as a state delegate in 2014, Morrissey was sentenced to jail under a plea of “contributing to the delinquency of a minor” after he was accused of having sexual relations with his then-17-year-old part-time receptionist. He subsequently resigned, but ran a successful campaign for state Senate a few years later.

“I’m here for Joe. This is an important race for us,” McAuliffe said during Morrissey’s Senate campaign. “This is an important year for the Democrats. This will be, folks, the first time in 26 years that we will be able to control the House, the Senate, and the governor’s mansion.”
