If Haley declares, and Donald Trump, Jared Kushner's father-in-law, says he wants another shot at the White House, things could get interesting at the Kushner family seder.

Vanity Fair reported Monday that the day before, as Trump was on Fox hinting that he is likely to run again, Charles Kushner was hosting a brunch for Haley in New Jersey.

The elder Kushner predicted Haley would be "the first woman president" and guests donated to her political action committee. Haley has said she will announce her decision about whether to run in 2024 early in 2023.

Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump did not attend the event; they were in Aspen, Colorado, Vanity Fair said. But they have lunched with Haley since Donald Trump left office and Trump reportedly blames his loss of the presidency last year in part on Jared Kushner, who effectively managed the reelection campaign.

"Last month, [Haley] visited former Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu with Christians United for Israel founder John Hagee," Vanity Fair reported.

Since leaving office, Kushner went on to found the Abraham Accords Institute together with Hillary Clinton/Democrat megadonor Haim Saban.

Saban famously told the New York Times in past, "I'm a one-issue guy, and my issue is Israel."

The much-hyped Abraham Accords were largely just promises of billions of US taxpayer dollars and high-tech weaponry to various Arab kings in exchange for them normalizing relations with Israel (against the will of their own populations).

As I reported in December, Jared Kushner and his newly-pardoned criminal father Charles appear to be seeking "at least" $100 million in kickbacks on the over $38 billion in US foreign aid they helped secure for Israel.

Legal Group Launches Effort to Learn About Biden Administration’s Coordination With Big Tech

A legal group is seeking information on the extent of the Biden administration’s coordination with Big Tech after White House officials this week said they were in regular communication with the companies.

America First Legal, run by former Trump administration officials, filed on Friday a flurry of Freedom of Information Act requests seeking details on U.S. government agency communications relating to the current administration’s effort to push Big Tech to censor speech.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki on Thursday told reporters in Washington that the administration is in regular touch with social media platforms and that officials are “flagging problematic posts for Facebook that spread disinformation.”

Psaki also claimed that about a dozen people produce 65 percent of “anti-vaccine misinformation” on social media and suggested those people should be banned.

Psaki, “from the White House press room, announced that the federal government is coordinating with social media platforms to silence Americans’ voices,” Matthew Whitaker, former acting attorney general and an America First Legal board member, told NTD, The Epoch Times’ sister media.

Samsung Electronics Eyes Texas Location For $17B Chip Plant

Samsung Electronics is doubling its efforts to supply semiconductor chips with an additional factory in Texas but outside of Austin.

According to documents filed with Texas state officials obtained by Reuters, Samsung is considering a location in Williamson County for a $17 billion chip factory and has applied for tax breaks to potentially build the plant.

Documents revealed that the investment would comprise “in excess of $17 billion dollars” and 1,800 new jobs, Reuters reported.

Samsung currently has a chip factory in Austin and has been shopping for a location for another plant, including an area in Austin, New York, and two sites in Arizona, The Hill reported in March.

According to Reuters, no new documentation has been filed in Austin since March, but Samsung did mention in its recent public filing with Williamson County that it is looking at alternative sites in the U.S. and South Korea to build the factory.

Samsung said it plans to break ground on the chip factory by the first quarter of 2022 if an investment is made and expects to start production by the end of 2024, documents stated as indicated by Reuters.

The global chip shortage has caused automakers to reduce their production schedules, temporarily close plants, and cut back on vehicle deliveries as they await chip supplies. The disruption to the auto industry alone has many automakers anticipating revenue losses for the second half of the year as shortages of chips are expected to continue.

Ghislaine Maxwell Used Husband's Firm to Get Mortgage Loan, Likely to Pay Epstein Accuser - Report

Ghislaine Maxwell, former associate of disgraced financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, managed to raise a substantial sum of money via a complex scheme involving the company of her "secretive husband" Scott Borgerson, The Times reports.

According to the newspaper, in 2017, mere weeks after Maxwell reached an out-of-court settlement in a defamation case with Epstein accuser Virginia Roberts Guiffre, the former took out a £2 million mortgage against her three-storey home in London.

The charge on the property in question was reportedly placed by Pleuston LLC, a company owned by Borgerson.

"The business is lending the money, rather than the husband directly", a mortgage expert said as quoted by the newspaper. "It's [an] incredibly complex [structure] to raise money".

The expert also reportedly described the loan as unusual due to the amount of money lent being higher that the value of the property.

The money procured via the loan could've been used by Maxwell to pay the aforementioned settlement, the newspaper suggests, noting that in 2016, Ghislaine sold her "$15 million house in New York" after striking a confidential deal with two of Epstein's accusers.

The charge on the house was reportedly removed from Land Registry documents in 2020, the year Maxwell was arrested in the United States, though it remains unclear whether the loan was actually repaid; the building is apparently still owned by Ghislaine.

The documents cited by the newspaper reportedly come from a 2017 defamation lawsuit filed by Giuffre.

Having been arrested in New Hampshire in 2020, Maxwell is currently awaiting trial in New York on charges of playing a role in the "sexual exploitation and abuse of multiple minor girls" by Epstein.

USA Today “Fact-Checks” GP and Politico Report on Biden Monitoring Private Communications — Then Confirms DNC Has Been Flagging “Misinformation” for Facebook Since 2020

On Monday Politico broke the news that the Biden regime was monitoring private communications and calls on SMS Carriers to “dispel misinformation about vaccines.

This news came on the same week that the Biden administration admitted to working with Facebook to flag, censor and silence critics of the administration’s vaccine program. It also is the same week that White House spokesperson Jen Psaki said anyone who is banned from Facebook for White House deemed “misinformation” should be banned from all social media platforms.

We now have shameless totalitarians in the White House who have no regard for the US Constitution and the right to free speech in America.

In a July 12 article about the Biden administration’s response to vaccine disinformation, Politico reported that groups allied with President Joe Biden are working with text messaging carriers to fight the spread of vaccine misinformation.

“Biden allied groups, including the Democratic National Committee, are also planning to engage fact-checkers more aggressively and work with SMS carriers to dispel misinformation about vaccines that is sent over social media and text messages,” Politico wrote…

…The falsehood has also circulated in conservative media circles.

Fox News reported that “the Biden administration has plans to work with tech companies and SMS carriers to monitor and combat misinformation.” Fox host Tucker Carlson reiterated the false claim during his July 13 show.

But this initiative doesn’t involve monitoring or controlling private text messages, and the Biden administration is not involved.

China’s Foreign Minister Arrived In Damascus Following Reports Of Military Support For Syrian Army

On July 17, China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi arrived in the Syrian capital Damascus on a pre-planned visit. Yi is the most senior Chinese official to visit Syria since the outbreak of the war in the country in 2011.

The Chinese minister was welcomed in Damascus International Airport by his Syrian counterpart Faisal Mekdad and a delegation of senior officials.

During the visit, Yi will meet with Syria’s top officials, including President Bashar al-Assad who was just sworn in for a fourth term in office.

According to a recent report by Sputnik, the Chinese minister will discuss several economic and diplomatic issues with the Syrian side. Yi’s visit is supposed to launch a “new stage of cooperation” between China and Syria.

Six strategic projects, which were pre-agreed upon, will be launched during the visit. The projects are a part of China’s Belt and Road Initiative.

The landmark visit came following reports of Chinese military support for the Syrian Arab Army. According to some sources, Beijing wants to cooperate with Damascus against Uyghurs terrorists based in the northwestern Syrian region of Greater Idlib.

China appears to be preparing to boost its support for Damascus to address security concerns and secure its interests in the Middle East.

Maine Leads US in Becoming First State to Ban “Forever Chemicals” in Products

Maine enacted a groundbreaking law on Thursday, banning the use of so-called “forever chemicals” in all products by 2030, except in instances deemed “currently unavoidable.”

Maine is the first state in the U.S. and first government in the world to implement a ban on the toxic chemicals per- and polyfluoroalkyl, known as PFAS, which are notorious for not breaking down easily in the environment and can remain in a person’s body for decades after exposure.

“I am proud to see Maine taking action that will change the conversation on how PFAS are regulated, not only addressing the entire class, but creating the requirement to avoid these persistent and toxic chemicals wherever possible,” said Patrick MacRoy, the deputy director of Defend Our Health, a public health organization in Maine that coordinated with experts and community advocates to get the bill passed.

The man-made chemicals can be found in soil, drinking water, the air, food packaging, cosmetics, cookware, various household products, and industrial workplaces—resulting in widespread exposure to humans and the environment.

A 2015 study by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) found PFAS present in 97% of Americans’ blood.

Democratic state House Representative Lori Gramlich who sponsored the bill, told Reuters, “PFAS is at a crisis level here in Maine—it’s in the soil, groundwater, and household items, and it is making people severely sick.”

PFAS have been associated with numerous health effects, including low infant birth weights, liver and kidney disease, disruptions of the immune and reproductive systems, and cancer.

While the statewide ban does not take affect until January 2030, manufacturers will have to begin reporting the presence of PFAS chemicals in their products to the Maine Department of Environmental Quality starting in January 2023.

“This policy sets a strong national precedent that sends a clear signal to industry that we need to move quickly toward safer chemistry and away from toxic chemicals like PFAS,” said Sarah Doll, the national director of Safer States, a public health advocacy group that advocates for stronger legislation on PFAS at the state level.

Maine has emerged as a climate leader, recently passing two additional landmark environmental laws. In June it became the first state to pass a bill requiring the government’s divestment from fossil fuels by 2026 and on July 13th Gov. Janet Mills (D) signed a bill that shifted costs of recycling from taxpayers to companies, the first bill of its kind in the country.

Discussing the strained relationship between the United States and their South African counterparts, who were working towards the gradual end of the Apartheid system, Biden seemed to lose control of his emotions as he began ranting and shouting at Secretary Schultz, unhappy with a Reagan Administration policy that sought for the U.S. to remain part of South Africa’s “solution” to ending apartheid.

While working towards and end of apartheid, the Reagan Administration had not sought to involve the United States in fanning the flames of racial violence, but rather to allow South Africans themselves to rise to the occasion of ending the controversial system while not playing “favorites” from afar.

According to Biden, the United States had “favorites” in South Africa and it wasn’t the nation’s government or those working towards a peaceful transition, but the Soviet-backed militant groups and political parties, like Nelson Mandela’s Communist-aligned African National Congress, which engaged in anti-white violence and was designated as a terror organization by the United States until 2008.

“Dammit we have favorites in South Africa!” Biden shouted at Schultz. “The favorites in South Africa are the people who are being repressed by an ugly white regime!” Our loyalty “is not to some stupid, puppet government over there,” Biden continued ranting. “It is not to the Afrikanners’ regime!” he said before seeming to demand the Regan Administration reverse course and align with the Soviet Union and their sponsored terror groups. According to Carlson, under the Biden Department of Justice, Hunter Biden was able to “do literally whatever he wants.”

CARLSON: So much happens in the final weeks of a presidential campaign that it’s easy to lose track of it. Whatever happened to this or that — development in the news. You can’t remember. A lot falls between the cracks. There’s overload.

Politicians know this, obviously, and they take advantage of it. If they can derail a story until after Election Day, often that story goes away forever. No one really remembers. And that was precisely the thinking behind the Democrats’ response to Hunter Biden’s laptop.

They knew from the first day that the contents of that laptop were in fact genuine. Look at what’s on there, it may be theoretically possible that some foreign Intel service would Photoshop a picture of Hunter Biden’s crotch mostly for self-amusement, but a hundred pictures of Hunter Biden’s crotch adorned with M&Ms? No. No Russian did that. Those pictures were real.

And so are the huge numbers of e-mails and texts from Hunter Biden explaining how he was selling access to his father, then the Vice President and how his father was helping him do it.

So, in order to enrich his family, Joe Biden changed this country’s foreign policy. That happened and it was the real crime that Hunter Biden’s laptop revealed. That was the real scandal.

If voters had understood that, if someone had told them, it might have affected the results of the election, so they couldn’t know. The permanent bureaucracy hid that from the country.

In October, a group of corrupt Intelligence officials, 50 of them whose names will live forever in shame, signed a letter blaming Vladimir Putin for the laptop. “Hunter Biden’s story is Russian disinformation, dozens of former Intel official say,” that was the headline in Politico. That was a lie from top to bottom. It was totally unsupported by evidence or Intelligence.

But it came just in time for the presidential debate. That was the point. And Joe Biden picked it up and wielded it like a club from the stage.

Data Destruction Reveals Larger Issue with DoD Records Retention

Six weeks ago, The Black Vault broke a story about a potentially unauthorized destruction of data by the Department of Defense (DoD). Throughout numerous Freedom of Information Act cases, it was ultimately determined that more than nine years worth of e-mails, chat transcripts, attachments, appointments, and task listings were destroyed, as created by a former DoD employee over the course of his career. That employee is Luis Elizondo, a former counter-intelligence agent who has received an enormous amount of media coverage for his story about working on a UFO study for the Pentagon.

Shortly after The Black Vault published that story, the DoD explained further on who they felt was to blame.

And that’s when the story gets more bizarre.

That explanation has remained unpublished, until now, and has revealed a much larger potential problem when it comes to document preservation within the DoD.

Although the deleted e-mails may not seem out of the ordinary to some; it is. Buried within mounds of “records disposition schedules,” documented proof (File Number: 102-12.1) shows that this information should have been retained by the DoD until at least the year 2024, if not, possibly even being mandated to be retained indefinitely. The schedules also make no reference to individual employees being solely responsible for records retention after they resign or leave the department.

According to the official word from the DoD, it’s the employee’s responsibility to adhere to document preservation protocols and do their own data backups. So in this case, that would be Elizondo. However, actual evidence to that fact is non-existent, and when asked, the DoD would not or could not supply it for this article.

When this story first broke, it fueled speculation by the public that this is the most recent tactic by the DoD in a well-orchestrated “smear campaign” to discredit Elizondo and his story. Throughout the past three and a half years, the Pentagon has issued numerous statements calling into question Elizondo’s claims; the program he says he directed; and even Elizondo himself.

Without being able to cite any “authority” that allowed the obliteration of Elizondo’s e-mails, the DoD has finally issued another response to The Black Vault in order to explain what happened.

Yet, that clarity only produced more questions than answers.

It begs to ask the question, how much more is being lost?

Over the course of the past five weeks, The Black Vault attempted to get additional information about this issue from the Public Affairs office within the DoD by writing Susan Gough, a Pentagon spokesperson who has been tasked to answer all questions about Elizondo, UAPs, and related matters.

The first attempt was on June 7, 2021, and over the course of five weeks, The Black Vault sent six follow-ups regarding this issue, and although some were acknowledged with claims information would be forthcoming, nothing ever came.

The last attempt was on July 14, just days prior to this article being published. This was a last attempt which outlined to the DoD that the story was moving forward; it would be published by the end of the week; and it was stated exactly what was being reported to ensure that if there was any inaccuracy or misinterpretation, it could be corrected prior to publishing.

The final follow-up stated the following:

“Hello Sue,

I am going to just go ahead and finish this final article update on this issue. I’ve waited some time to add any additional comment or supply additional information as, but understand if OSD does not want to add any additional information or comment.

I just can’t find any supporting documentation about the deletion of emails, and the responsibility of the employee to do it, which seems to be the stance I received from the FOIA team.

I feel the story here is just that, the confusion about records retention and the loss of potentially important documentation. To know that Luis Elizondo’s position would be actively engaged in situations like the trial of KSM, it’s hard to believe that stuff is wiped out if he doesn’t appropriately push a button. As an advocate for preservation and transparency (in that order), it’s a bit of a concern that if information is destroyed that easily, what else may be being lost?

I am in no way trying to paint any one, or any agency, in a bad light. Rather, I’d like to shed light on a story I feel is very important, hence why I have politely pushed for answers from you to ensure accuracy on this.

I appreciate any last minute clarity on this. I have the FOIA office’s letter of approved language from before, but just want to make sure if I publish that with the interpretation that employees are to blame if disposition schedules are not followed, that I am not going against what any updated official stance is on this (or related) matters.

In a recent article by Jim Hoft at The Gateway Pundit detailing a critical aspect of Moonshine reporting relative to COVID-19 and its corresponding survival rate of over 99.9% for essentially all age demographics and whereby a new study in England once again demonstrates that the survival rate for children is well in excess of 99.9% [99.995%], he asks a valid question I’ve asked times over in various forms – “Why would authorities push facemasks and vaccines on children for the coronavirus when it is next to impossible for kids to die from this disease?”

There’s a simple answer to this question, which I’ve delineated ad nauseam and in exclusive ways long before anyone else – long before. It’s this. Masking and vaccines have nothing to do with a pandemic or mitigating illness but rather establishing a system of absolute tyrannical control over the population as a de facto enslavement mechanism.

At this juncture, about anyone still participating in this utter bullshit – there are few descriptions better than that despite the profanity – deserves the enslavement brought down upon them. Sorry, but it’s been over a year and half and those who insist on continuing to play dumb games will deservedly continue win stupid prizes.

Unfortunately though and as I’ve stated repeatedly, if enough of these feeble-minded cowards remain afraid and incapable of independent and critical thought followed by decisive action to rectify and redress their ills, they’ll drag us down with them. Second Chinese spy ship approaches Australia to monitor military exercises after being 'on our radar for some time'

Beijing has dispatched a second high-tech surveillance ship to Queensland as large-scale military exercises involving Australian and American forces ramp up.

Just days after the ABC revealed a People's Liberation Army-Navy (PLAN) vessel was being tracked by the ADF, defence sources have confirmed another intelligence-gathering ship is soon expected to also arrive off the east coast.

One military official, who spoke to the ABC on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorised to comment publicly, said the Haiwangxing (which translates as "Neptune") had been "on our radar for some time".

The Haiwangxing is an auxiliary general intelligence (AGI) vessel and a younger sister ship to the Tianwangxing ("Uranus"), which is already believed to be closely monitoring this year's Exercise Talisman Sabre.

For the past two Talisman Sabre exercises in 2019 and 2017, China has deployed an AGI to study how US forces interact with their Australian allies, but this is the first occasion a second surveillance vessel has come.

Australia, like the United States, also regularly deploys intelligence-gathering assets to monitor the military activity of other nations, but defence officials believe it is "unusual" two Chinese ships are monitoring Talisman Sabre in 2021.

The Tianwangxing was tracked by the ADF as it transited through the Torres Straight towards Queensland waters, but the Haiwangxing is approaching through the Solomon Sea around Papua New Guinea.

So far, the Defence Department has not commented publicly on the impending arrival of the second Chinese surveillance ship, despite being approached by the ABC on Friday.

A spokesperson for Defence Minister Peter Dutton has also, so far, not responded to questions from the ABC.

In the past week, the US has fired a Patriot missile for the first time on Australian soil as part of the 'Talisman Sabre' training activity, which takes place every two years.

Britain plans to launch covert special forces operations against Russia & China, military chief tells media

The UK Special Forces are about to concentrate on some new covert counter-state tasks with a focus on Russia and China, Royal Marines Brigadier Mark Totten revealed to the Times.

The British Royal Marines are to take over some of the “traditional” roles of the nation’s special forces units – the Special Air Service (SAS) and Special Boat Service (SBS) – as they are preparing for some new “higher risk” counter-state tasks, Totten said.

The brigadier himself is in command of a 4,000-strong “future commando force” that is about to share the burden of the special forces such as in maritime counterterrorist missions or some “partnered operations” that involve some “higher risks.”

The SAS and SBS will apparently hurl all effort into countering “big state adversaries” – Moscow and Beijing, the military official told the paper.

“What we will be able to do is allow [the special forces] to focus on more difficult, more complex, counter-Russia, counter-China [tasks]. It takes real specialist expertise, so we will allow them to have more time and people to address those and we can conduct some of the tasks,” Totten said.

The brigadier did not exactly elaborate on the nature of such future operations. The Times reported, citing some army sources, that the missions might involve some “politically treacherous” tasks like training the navies of the nations in the South China Sea region to make them better prepared to repel what the UK newspaper called “Chinese hostility.”

The nature of the UK Special Forces’ potential operations against Russia remains unclear, but the Times claims that they could involve surveillance of Russian intelligence and military units in cooperation with British MI6 intelligence.

Earlier, the Guardian reported that the most secretive parts of the British military are likely to get a new focus and a new remit that would involve countering Russia and other state actors through secret missions.

The paper said that the director of the special forces has drawn up a new ‘Special Operations Concept’ based on the pretense that the nature of modern warfare is changing and unconventional subtle military operations are becoming increasingly common.

The Guardian also cited the Chief of the General Staff General Sir Mark Carleton-Smith who said that peace and war were “two increasingly redundant states,” while accusing “authoritarian regimes” of “exploiting the hybrid space that exists in between.”

Still, Totten’s comments were a rare instance of a British military official openly admitting that London plans to deploy the UK Special Forces on covert missions specifically targeting Russia and China.

Foreign travelers to China can now use digital yuan – central bank

Foreign visitors no longer need to open a bank account to make e-payments in China, the People’s Bank of China (PBOC) announced on Friday.

“Foreign residents temporarily traveling in China can open an e-CNY wallet to meet daily payment needs without opening a domestic bank account,” the bank said in its so-called white paper on e-CNY, China’s government-developed digital currency.

Despite e-payments being a major form of transactions in China, the country’s two leading mobile pay applications, operated by Tencent and Alibaba until recently, required a Chinese bank account to make payments within the country, which created difficulties for foreigners.

The PBOC’s move aims at eliminating this nuisance, with only a mobile telephone number now needed to make digital payments within the country.

“The internationalization of a currency is a natural result of market selection. The international status of a country’s currency depends on its economic fundamentals and the depth, efficiency and openness of its financial markets,” the central bank stated.

China has been developing e-CNY since 2014. Friday’s white paper outlines the main goals of the digital yuan, differentiating it from other digital payment tools by being legal tender, not requiring an actual bank account, supporting offline payments and providing “managed anonymity.”

According to the Chinese central bank, the e-CNY “collects less transaction information than traditional electronic payments and does not provide information to third parties or other government agencies unless stipulated otherwise in laws and regulations.”

The PBOC has been testing its digital yuan in China for over a year, with more than 20.87 million personal and some 3.51 million corporate wallets opened. The combined transaction value of those amounted to some 34.5 billion yuan ($5.39 billion), the paper stated.

The bank did not provide information on when the digital yuan feature would be made available. However, CNBC has reported that its employee in China was already able to access the e-CNY through their domestic bank account.

CDC Embraces Critical Race Theory Language, Cites ‘Social Inequities’ in Risks of Contracting Coronavirus

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) appeared to embrace Critical Race Theory language in one of its latest updates, surmising that “systemic health and social inequities” put “some rural residents at increased risk of getting or having severe illness” from the Chinese coronavirus.

The CDC made the assertion in its interpretive summary of its weekly review, titled “Location, location, location”:

“Long-standing systemic health and social inequities have put some rural residents at increased risk of getting or having severe illness from COVID-19,” the federal health agency wrote, adding that the cumulative coronavirus death rate in non-metropolitan areas “has exceeded that of metropolitan areas since December 2020.”

Emphasis added:

Approximately 1 in 5 people in the United States live in rural communities. Rural areas can face different health challenges depending on where they are located. Many are considered highly vulnerable according to CDC’s Social Vulnerability Index (SVI), which includes factors such as housing, transportation, socioeconomic status, race, and ethnicity. Additionally, rural communities often have a higher proportion of residents who lack health insurance, live with a chronic disease or disability, are older than 65 years, and have limited access to health care facilities with intensive care capabilities. These factors place residents of rural communities at increased risk for COVID-19-associated illness and death.

The CDC warned that the “increased risk” could lead to vaccination disparities between communities and ultimately “undermine efforts to reduce morbidity and mortality from COVID-19 nationally,” continuing to lament the fact that some of these areas have lower vaccination rates:

“Efforts are underway to raise awareness about COVID-19 vaccines, and to make vaccines more accessible to residents of rural communities. We must work together to ensure that all people, regardless of geographic location, have resources to maintain and manage their physical and mental health, including easy access to accurate information and affordable medical care so all communities can thrive.

While the Biden administration continues in its efforts to convince unvaccinated Americans to get the jab — even floating door knocking — the CDC is urging vaccinated people to “help” the unvaccinated, ultimately pushing them to “make their vaccination happen”:

Meanwhile, documents obtained by Judicial Watch via an April 14, 2021, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request revealed the Department of Veterans Affairs embracing Critical Race Theory in the allocation of the coronavirus vaccines, citing the “lifetime social disadvantages experienced by persons of color” to justify its practices.

D.C. Officials Who Authorized BLM Street Sign Order Removal of ‘Cuba Libre’ Words Outside Communist Country’s Embassy

Cuban Americans protesting in support of the Cubans calling for an end of communism painted ‘Cuba Libre’ on the street outside of the Cuban Embassy in Washington, DC, on Friday.

But the same D.C. officials who not only left the identical kind of street signage for Black Lives Matter in place and, in fact, enshrined it permanently by sealing off the area and naming it Black Lives Matter Plaza, ordered the “unauthorized” Cuba sign removed.

On the same day, the Department of Public Works erased it, according to the Washington Post:

In a Friday statement to the Washington Post, embassy officials wrote: “Despite the systematic policy of confrontation and aggression of the United States government against Cuba, the American diplomats who work in the US Embassy in Havana have always been safe and have never been the object of attacks, or other manifestations of hatred. The Cuban Government expects the same behavior on the US side.”

President [Joe] Biden has voiced support for the demonstrators and called on the “Cuban regime to hear their people and serve their needs at this vital moment rather than enriching themselves.”

The letters “VZLA” also appeared in the street painting, an apparent reference to Venezuela. Carlos Vecchio, the Venezuelan ambassador to the United States for opposition leader Juan Guaidó, tweeted a photo of the messaging outside the embassy on Friday.

Vecchio’s tweet, written in Spanish, said: “In front of the Cuban Embassy in Washington, D.C. it reads: Cuba Libre. We stand with our Cuban brothers fighting for their liberty. We share the same fight: Liberty.”

Meanwhile, conservative members of Congress have come out in support of Cuban protesters and have chided Democrats for supporting the same kind of oppressive socialism and communism that has caused the suffering of the Cuban people for decades and caused millions to flee to the United States in search of freedom.

As Breitbart News reported, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy on Thursday announced he is launching an advisory team on Cuba to advise House Republicans on the “ongoing freedom protests and government atrocities in Cuba.”

According to a press release, the team “will help develop policies to guarantee the United States ‘stands in solidarity with the Cuban freedom movement, and educate the American people on the tyranny of the communist regime in Havana.’”

But high society types who once rubbed elbows with Ghislaine and Epstein are running scared and keeping mum, sources said.

An insider told Page Six: “All members of higher society in New York refused to talk to the BBC. Some people are buying the copyrights to photos both in London and New York to remove the pictures from the market that shows them with Ghislaine and/or Epstein.”
