The DS's desire for the vote not to occur in Texas is what inspired them.
They've essentially frozen ALL voting in TX until they decide to return. Not just on voting rights but on every piece of legislation.
In addition, there has been talk of audits in some of these regions in TX where R's won bigly historically but the D took the state senate seat.
