Starting at the end of September, people will be required to show proof of full vaccination in order to enter nightclubs.

“We’re planning to a full vaccination the condition of entering to nightclubs and other venues where large crowds gather,” Boris Johnson said of people over the age of 18. “Proof of a negative test will no longer be allowed.”

French President Emmanuel Macron recently announced that a Covid passport would be required in order to enter restaurants and theaters.

Macron however is still giving two options: People have to show proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test via a digital passport…. for now.

The experimental jab has been getting worse results as time progresses. Just a few months ago, only 25% of people who had received the shot caught the China virus afterwards, and that number has now risen to 47% according to the study.

George Soros & Bill Gates lead buyout of UK Covid testing company

A group of investors led by the Soros Economic Development Fund (SEDF) and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation have financed the buyout of UK diagnostic technologies firm Mologic, which has developed a 10-minute coronavirus test.

To make the acquisition, the group has launched Global Access Health (GAH), a social enterprise aiming to expand access to affordable medical technology. The members of the GAH are reportedly set on investing over $41 billion in the acquisition deal. The transaction will include the buyout of all Mologic’s existing shares, including those held by two private investment managers, Foresight Group LLP and Calculus Capital.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has painfully demonstrated the fundamental inequities in global public health, and in particular the crucial importance of access to […] life-saving diagnostic tools. In this unique transaction, philanthropic funds and investors are working together […] to address at least one part of that failure by enabling a cutting-edge commercial business to focus all its resources on solving one of the world’s most pressing public health issues,” Sean Hinton, SEDF’s chief executive officer, has said, commenting on the deal.

Mologic was founded in 2003 by Mark Davis and his father Professor Paul Davis, one of the creators of the world's first home pregnancy test, ClearBlue. Mologic develops tests for a variety of diseases at affordable prices and recently received a CE mark (Conformité Européenne) for its coronavirus disease Covid-19 tests, which the company plans to sell at just $1 each.

However, the Covid-19 test has yet to be approved for use in both the UK and the US. Mologic recently received £1 million ($1.4 million) from the UK authorities for its Covid-19 tests development, but later accused the government of “stonewalling” the usage of the tests within the country.

A court hearing will take place in Henry County Superior Court on Monday, July 19th at 1:30 pm ET regarding the U.S. Senate runoff election in Georgia, certified in January of 2021.

The lawsuit, brought by Atlanta resident Mike Daugherty back in January contests the certifications of Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock as the winners of the election for Georgia’s U.S. Senate seats and seeks a new election conducted on paper ballots under Ga. Code 21-2-334.

Listed defendants include Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, Jon Ossoff, Raphael Warnock, Fulton, DeKalb, and Coffee County Election Boards, as well as the Georgia State Election Board.

The lawsuit alleges the results of this election do not accurately reflect the intent of eligible voters in Georgia and therefore should be overturned. Chinese National Sentenced For Fraudulent Scheme to Purchase and Export US Military Craft, Engines.

A Chinese national and two co-defendants have been sentenced in connection with an attempt to use false export information to export maritime raiding craft and military-model engines through fraud to China, and in violation of Unites States law.

Ge Songtao, a 51-year-old from Nanjing, China, pleaded guilty to the charges on November 2, 2020, and was sentenced on July 14, 2021, to a three years and six months’ sentence in federal prison. Ge conspired “to submit false export information through the federal government’s Automated Export System and to export maritime raiding craft and engines to China fraudulently.” The attempt at export was “in violation of U.S. law.” Ge agreed to $114,834.27 in an administrative forfeiture, since he had arranged for this much money to be wired to an American manufacturer for the purchase of the engines and raiding craft.

Ge was chairman of the Shanghai Breeze Technology Co. Ltd, which has its headquarters in Shanghai, China. In 2018, Ge started searching for “a source of supply of U.S.-manufactured combat rubber raiding craft equipped with engines that could operate using gasoline, diesel fuel or jet fuel. . .No comparable engine is manufactured in China.” Such craft, with multi-fuel engines, are capable of being launched from submerged submarines and can also be dropped by aircraft into the ocean. They are used by the United States military.

A US-based employee and co-defendant of Ge, Yang Yang, tried to order seven of these raiding craft and multi-fuel engines from a US manufacturer, insisting on the “military-model multi-fuel engines” rather than the cheaper gasoline-fueled engines which the manufacturer suggested. Yang, informed by a Chinese co-worker that US manufacturers are more open to selling to entities in Hong Kong than in mainland China, falsely claimed her customer was United Vision Limited in Hong Kong. In reality, the customer was Shanghai Breeze Technology Co. Ltd. Hence false information, violating federal law, was entered into the Department of Commerce’s Automated Export System.

Ge ensured wire transfers of money to Belt Consulting Company Limited, a separate Hong Kong company, which then wired the sum of $114,834.27 to the American manufacturer. Further seeking to “facilitate” the purchase and export, Ge “coordinated plans to send an employee to Hong Kong to receive the raiding craft and engines and transship them to mainland China.” The plot however failed and, before engines and raiding craft were shipped overseas, Ge and his co-defendants were arrested by authorities.

Clinton Protégé Congressman Serving on National Security Committees Invested In At Least SIX Chinese Communist Party-Linked Firms, Including Military Proxies.

Democratic Congressman Josh Gottheimer – a longtime Clinton family ally and member of the House Homeland Security Committee – is invested in several Chinese Communist Party-linked companies, including military proxies, The National Pulse can reveal.

Financial ties between the Chinese Communist Party and Gottheimer, who has represented New Jersey’s 5th congressional district since 2017, are revealed in his most recent financial disclosure form. The 60-page list of investments reveals the congressman, who serves on the House Financial Services Committee and its National Security, International Development, and Monetary Policy Subcommittee and the House Homeland Security Committee, has made investments in at least six companies tied to the Chinese government.

Dubbed a “protégé of the Clintons” by The New York Times, Gottheimer worked for President Bill Clinton as a speechwriter and for Hillary Clinton as an advisor on her 2008 campaign. “Mr. Clinton and Chelsea Clinton have already quietly appeared at a Manhattan fund-raiser in late October, where Ms. Clinton introduced Mr. Gottheimer as something of a family member,” the 2015 article adds.

Gottheimer has also invested in three Chinese tech companies flagged by the U.S. State Department as “tools of Communist Party influence and control”: Tencent, Alibaba, and Baidu.

As the State Department notes:

Significantly, the modern “China Model” is built upon a foundation of technology-facilitated surveillance and social control. These techniques for ruling China have been – and continue to be – in critical ways developed, built, and maintained on behalf of the Party-State by technology firms such as Huawei, Tencent, ZTE, Alibaba, and Baidu. As these companies export their products and services to the rest of the world, the security and human rights problems associated with this “China Model” are progressively exported with them.

Despite these concerns, Gottheimer purchased Alibaba stock worth up to $15,000 in transactions on November 26th, 2019 and December 6th, 2019, and on January 29th, 2019, he purchased up to $15,000 in Tencent stock.

Gottheimer also retains up to $1,000 in stock in Baidu following a sale of securities in the company worth $1,001 to $15,000 on December 10th, 2019.

He also purchased up to $15,000 of Ping An Insurance stock on March 18th, 2019, whose primary shareholders including Chinese Communist Party members and state-owned entities.

Norway accuses China of carrying out cyberattack on parliament, as UK & US condemn broader ‘Chinese hacking’

The Norwegian government has claimed that Chinese hackers were responsible for a cyberattack on the country’s parliament in March this year, and called on Beijing to tackle and prevent such “malicious” activities.

In a statement on Monday, Norway’s Foreign Minister Ine Eriksen Soereide said that an investigation into an attack on the national parliament’s email system on March 10 concluded that the attack “was carried out from China.”

She said that several of Norway’s allies, the European Union and Microsoft had also confirmed the findings of the country’s intelligence services. The attacks had targeted a security hole in Microsoft's Exchange software, the minister said.

“This is a serious incident which has hit our most important democratic institution,” she noted.

Eriksen Soereide said the Chinese ambassador to Norway had been summoned to discuss the issue, adding that she hoped Beijing would take the matter very seriously. “Chinese authorities must prevent such attacks from taking place,” she stated.

The minister’s comments came as the UK, US, Canada and the EU accused China and its Ministry of State Security of a global cyber hacking campaign linked with an earlier attack on Microsoft.

“The cyberattack on Microsoft Exchange Server by Chinese state-backed groups was a reckless but familiar pattern of behavior,” said British Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab in a statement on Monday.

In March, Microsoft announced that a cyber breach had affected tens of thousands computers worldwide. The firm blamed “a group assessed to be state-sponsored and operating out of China.”

The Chinese government is yet to respond to Monday’s accusations, but has previously denied Microsoft’s claims of involvement.

Liberals in Israeli coalition govt challenge Defense Ministry over reports NSO malware was used to monitor reporters and activists

The head of Israel’s Meretz party, part of the country’s governing coalition, has demanded the Defense Ministry answer questions about the export of NSO spyware and its use to hack the phones of reporters and activists.

Nitzan Horowitz, who leads the Meretz party and serves as Israel’s health minister, informed reporters on Monday that he will meet with the country’s defense minister, Benny Gantz, on Thursday to discuss the distribution of the NSO spyware, known as Pegasus.

On Sunday, over a dozen media outlets jointly reported that more than 50,000 activists, lawyers and journalists have been targeted by governments globally through the spyware, sold to them by the Israeli surveillance company NSO.

The leaked list of those affected was obtained by French media outlet Forbidden Stories and human rights group Amnesty International. The Security Lab at Amnesty examined some of the devices of people named on the list and found that, out of 67 phones analysed, 23 had been infected and there was evidence of an attempted infection on 14 others.

Initially, the Pegasus malware infected phones through text messages or emails by convincing the target to click a malicious link, in a manner known as spear-phishing. However, it is now believed to be able to infect phones through ‘zero-click’ attacks that exploit vulnerabilities in the phone’s operating system. Once it has infected a device, the malware can reportedly extract files and information, ranging from SMS messages to call records to internet browsing histories.

Alongside Horowitz’s request for the Defense Ministry to provide information on its NSO exports, Meretz lawmaker Mossi Raz urged the government to immediately halt distribution of the software, which he called “exporting weaponry.”

After the call for answers from Horowitz, the Defense Ministry said in a statement cited by Reuters that NSO software was exported for lawful use and “appropriate measures are taken” where cyber products are used in violation of their licenses.

As well as domestic condemnation, the allegations about the spyware have been condemned internationally. European Commission President Ursula Von der Leyen said that, if true, the reported use of the spyware is “completely unacceptable,” adding that “free press is one of the core values of the European Union.”

The NSO Group “firmly denies” the “false claims” made by the Guardian and its reporting partners for the story, arguing that they are simply “uncorroborated theories” that were “based on misleading interpretation of leaked data from accessible and overt basic information.”

8 months in prison for man who took selfie with 'Qanon Shaman' in first Capitol riot felony sentence

A Florida man faces eight months behind bars for participating in the pro-Trump riot on Capitol Hill in January. The man committed no violence, but prosecutors still claimed he took part in a “threat to democracy.”

Paul Allard Hodgkins pleaded guilty in June to obstructing Congress, a felony crime with a theoretical maximum sentence of 20 years in prison. Hodgkins, of Tampa, Florida, entered the US Capitol in January alongside crowds of former President Donald Trump’s supporters, carrying a ‘Trump 2020’ flag. He snapped selfies in the Senate chamber and posed alongside infamous ‘QAnon Shaman’ Jacob Chansley.

Hodgkins was sentenced to eight months in prison and 24 months’ probation by a federal judge in Washington, DC on Monday, and his punishment is expected to serve as a benchmark for hundreds of other rioters facing felony charges. One rioter has already been sentenced for misdemeanor offences: 49-year-old Anna Morgan Lloyd, who received three years’ probation last month, in addition to a fine and community service. Lloyd received leniency after disavowing the conduct of her fellow rioters and telling her judge that she had read anti-racist literature supplied by her lawyer.

Democratic Party politicians and the liberal media have characterized the January 6 riot as an “insurrection” and an act of “domestic terrorism.” Prosecutors in Hodgkins’ case have used similar verbiage, with a sentencing request from the government stating that “the need to deter others is especially strong in cases involving domestic terrorism, which the breach of the Capitol certainly was.”

Government prosecutors asked the judge to apply a sentence of around 18 months, claiming that “like each rioter, [he] contributed to the collective threat to democracy.”

“Threat to democracy,” however, is not a legally defined crime, and the actual impact of the riot on American democracy has been the subject of heated debate between the left and right since January. While President Joe Biden has called the riot the “worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War,” the mob was dispersed within several hours and Congress swiftly resumed its job of certifying Biden’s electoral win. Moreover, Hodgkins was not charged with conspiracy, meaning the conduct of the rest of the rioters should have no bearing on his case.

Hodgkins’ defense attorney pushed back against the use of the term “domestic terrorism” by the government. Speaking in court on Monday, he asserted that calling the riot “domestic terrorism” is “offensive and gaslighting the country, and it needs to stop…. It was a protest that became a riot, period, full stop.”

Washington says Beijing was behind Microsoft Exchange ransomware attack – media

Criminal hackers backed by China’s Ministry of State Security are responsible for a massive ransomware attack exploiting Microsoft Exchange email servers earlier this year, the Biden administration has alleged.

The cyber breach announced by Microsoft in March affected tens of thousands computers worldwide, with the company pointing finger at “a group assessed to be state-sponsored and operating out of China.” The US believes that he Ministry of State Security used the group, which was otherwise motivated by profit, to achieve its own ends, an official in the Biden administration told several media outlets on condition of anonymity, including the AP and AFP news agencies.

The disclosure was described as being part of the US’ attempt at a “multination public shaming” of Beijing for its alleged misdeeds. Washington did not impose any sanctions in response to the cyber attacks, but said it confronted Chinese officials about them.

Beijing denied any involvement in criminal hacking operations, saying it firmly opposes “cyber attacks and cyber theft in all forms” and that the US accusations lacked evidence. Russia is another country that Washington has accused of using cybercriminals to launch several recent attacks against Western targets. Moscow also denied the allegations, calling them baseless.

The unnamed official said US cyber experts learned more about how the supposed government-sponsored hackers in China operated. On Monday, several US security agencies published an advisory to the business community explaining how it can defend itself from such attacks. The semi-official accusation against Beijing coincided with the release of the document.

First under Biden, Guantanamo Bay prisoner released after 19 YEARS of detention without charges

A Moroccan national, Abdul Latif Nasir, has been released from the infamous Guantanamo Bay detention facility after spending some 19 years imprisoned without ever facing any charges.

The move was announced by the US military in a statement on Monday. The Pentagon described the release as a “transfer from the detention facility at Guantanamo Bay to the Kingdom of Morocco.”

No charges have ever been brought against the Moroccan national, who spent some 19 years in the Guantanamo detention facility after getting captured in Afghanistan in late 2001. The US military alleged that he deliberately traveled to the country “for jihad,” received “military or terrorist training,” and overall was described as “Al-Qaeda leadership cadre” – yet Nasir has never been prosecuted.

The detainee was originally cleared for release back in 2016 under Barack Obama’s administration, with the Periodic Review Board overseeing the prisoners deeming “that law of war detention of Abdul Latif Nasir no longer remained necessary to protect against a continuing significant threat to the national security of the United States,” the Pentagon said.

The planned release, however, was not completed before Donald Trump took over the White House. Trump halted the Gitmo prisoners’ release initiative altogether, and even promised to throw more “bad dudes” into the detention facility, originally established in January 2002 shortly after the 9/11 attacks to hold prisoners in the American ‘war on terror’.

With the release of Nasir, only 39 prisoners remain at Guantanamo Bay, according to the Pentagon. The population of the notorious prison peaked at almost 700 back in 2009, dwindling under Obama. While the former president failed to fulfill his promises given back in 2008 to shut down the facility within a year, giving in to pressure from the military and the intelligence community, he managed to greatly reduce the number of detainees.

The notorious prison has been at the epicenter of multiple scandals since its very opening, with the concerns ranging from the sub-par conditions in which the prisoners were held – at the launch of the prison camp, they were held in open-air cages – to assorted mistreatment of the detainees.

The CIA has been accused of subjecting the detainees to the so-called ‘enhanced interrogation techniques’ – basically, torture – that included sleep deprivation, beatings, waterboarding and so on. The ‘enhanced interrogation’ was officially banned by Obama back in 2009, yet the practice actually continued unofficially, according to the UN, which repeatedly urged Washington to stop it and punish those responsible.

Beijing Threatens "Retaliation" After US Accuses China Of Masterminding Global Hacks

Update (1310ET): Despite Beijing's threat to retaliate against the US if it imposes new sanctions or - worse still - attempts to retaliate with a cyber-offensive of its own, the Biden Administration just released a statement saying it reserves the right to take additional unilateral action. And although it hasn't ruled out unilateral action, it would prefer to act in concert with its international allies.

Update (1230ET): Beijing has just responded to the latest allegations by the Biden Administration and its "coalition of allies." In an editorial published by the English language Global Times, the pro-government paper blasted the US government's claims that the Chinese government partners with independent hackers as "a huge lie" and added that such a practice cannot be carried out in China's system.

The notion that China has knowingly allowed criminal hackers to profit at the expense of China's "national reputation" is also absurd, the editorial claimed.

China has a strict system of accountability. The US has accused China of cyber attacks for many years. It has become a highly sensitive issue between China and the US. We have to ask: What is the motive and benefit for China to launch large-scale cyber-attacks against the US and severely hit China-US relations as the US has accused? Which piece of information or economic benefit from the US is more important than China's national reputation?

The US even claimed that China has allowed contractor hackers to pursue their personal profit; in other words, China is willing to use its national interests to pay for the interests of those hackers and specific organizations they represent. Member Of US Gymnastics Team Tests Positive In Latest Setback For Tokyo Games

The Tokyo Olympics has just reported yet another high-profile COVID case, further cementing the odds that the Games are destined to be declared a "super-spreader event" despite the fact that Tokyo is under a State of Emergency, and spectators have been banned from Olympic events.

This time, an unnamed alternate for the US women's gymnastics team has tested positive for the coronavirus. It's not clear what, if anything, that means for the rest of the team, including superstar Simone Biles. USA Gymnastics says they are continuing to prepare for the Games.

"We can confirm that an alternate on the women's artistic gymnastics team tested positive for COVID-19," the US Olympic & Paralympic Committee said in a statement to NPR. "In alignment with local rules and protocols, the athlete has been transferred to a hotel to quarantine. Out of respect for the individual's privacy, we cannot provide more information at this time."

USA Gymnastics said in a statement that one other alternate is quarantining. The women's team has 4 alternates: Kayla DiCello, Kara Eaker, Emma Malabuyo and Leanne Wong. It's not clear how closely the team's six starting members have trained and lodged with the alternates in Japan.

"On Monday, the Olympic athletes moved to separate lodging accommodations and a separate training facility, as originally planned, and will continue their preparation for the Games," USA Gymnastics said in a statement to NPR.

The positive test was first reported by Japan's Kyodo News agency. It said the city of Inzai said the gymnast tested positive at a pre-event training camp in the city.

The COVID-19 protocols for the Games seem to leave the door open for athletes to continue to compete even if they are a close contact of someone with a positive test. It's decided on a case-by-case basis.. If they are allowed to compete, stricter-than-usual protocols might be implemented, such as "moving to a private room, eating meals alone, using dedicated vehicles, or separation during training and at your competition venue," according to the athlete's playbook.

Haiti’s Interim Prime Minister Joseph Says He Will Step Down

WASHINGTON—Claude Joseph, who has nominally led Haiti as acting prime minister since the July 7 assassination of President Jovenel Moïse, said in a Washington Post interview published on Monday he has agreed to step down, handing power to a challenger backed by the international community.

The announcement appears to end a power struggle in the Caribbean nation between Joseph and Ariel Henry, the 71-year old neurosurgeon who was appointed prime minister by Moise two days before the killing but had yet to be sworn in.

Moise was fatally shot when attackers armed with assault rifles stormed his private residence in the hills above Port-au-Prince. The assassination has pitched the already troubled nation into chaos, coming amid a surge in gang violence that has displaced thousands of people and hampered economic activity in the poorest country in the Americas.

Joseph told The Washington Post that he and Henry had met privately over the past week, adding that he agreed to step down on Sunday “for the good of the nation” and is willing to transfer power “as quickly as possible.”

“Everyone who knows me knows that I am not interested in this battle, or in any kind of power grab,” Joseph said.

“The president was a friend to me. I am just interested in seeing justice for him,” Joseph added.

Haiti, a country of about 11 million people, has struggled to achieve stability since the fall of the Duvalier dynastic dictatorship in 1986, and has grappled with a series of coups and foreign interventions.

On Saturday, the important Core Group of international ambassadors and representatives urged “the formation of a consensual and inclusive government.”

“To this end, we strongly encourage the designated Prime Minister Ariel Henry to continue the mission entrusted to him to form such a government,” the group said.

The Core Group is made up of ambassadors from Germany, Brazil, Canada, Spain, the United States, France, the European Union, and special representatives from the United Nations and the Organization of American States.

The group also called for the organization of “free, fair, transparent and credible legislative and presidential elections as quickly as possible.”

A Colombian police chief said on Friday the assassination may have been ordered by a former Haitian justice ministry official, citing a preliminary investigation that has implicated Haitian-Americans and former Colombian soldiers.

Martine Moise, the assassinated president’s widow, returned to Haiti on Saturday for his funeral after she was treated in a Miami hospital for injuries sustained during the attack.

Fairfax NAACP Leader Forced to Resign from PTA After ‘Let Them Die’ Speech

The Virginia PTA forced the resignation of Vice President of Training Michelle Leete on Saturday after she gave a speech saying “Let them die,” referring to people against her leftist ideology. Fairfax NAACP still supports Leete, who is their 1st Vice President.

Michelle Leete spoke to concerned parents and supporters of Critical Race Theory Thursday prior to a Fairfax county public school board meeting at Luther Jackson Middle School in Falls Church, Virginia.

On Saturday, the Virginia PTA released a statement on Twitter, “While speaking within her [Leete’s] role within Virginia PTA, we do not condone the choice of words used during a public event.”:

Fairfax County NAACP released a statement of support for Leete Sunday, and claimed the media created a “false narrative” about Leete, and they do not “condone or support violence of any kind.” The civil rights group said:

We stand firmly by our 1st Vice President and her work in the past, present and future, and are extremely disappointed that her long track record of tireless work and dedication within the Fairfax County community has been so easily disregarded and devalued. We must be diligent and stalwart against those who use falsehoods to silence our community leaders, sow discord, and deflect attention away from important conversations on how best to protect our students while building a healthy and inclusive learning environment.

Leete also served as the vice president of communications for the Fairfax County PTA, but on Monday, the spot is listed as vacant on the website. The Fairfax County PTA has not published a statement about Leete’s comments.

Leete told the Washington Post Friday, her written speech originally included “Let them (ideals) die.” She explained her statement referred to “the ideals that show a disregard and lack of support for our teachers who have a truly difficult job to do even without a pandemic.”

“I will certainly admit, it was ineloquently stated and with a pause for the applause, the timing was off,” Leete said.

UK to Roll Out Vaccines to Some 12-15-Year-Olds, Await Pfizer Data on Younger Children

The British government will roll out coronavirus vaccines to youths nearing their 18th birthday and some 12-15-year-olds, with the door open to expanding the programme to younger children later in the year.

The Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) which shapes the Boris Johnson administration’s vaccine policies, made the recommendations, which have been announced in the House of Commons by government vaccines minister Nadhim Zahawi — with the JCVI reportedly open to recommending the vaccine more youngsters once the results of short-term Pfizer trials on children as young as two are announced.

The official line from the Department of Health and Social Care, headed by Sajid Javid MP, remains equivocal as of the time of publication, however, with a spokesman saying only that “The Government will continue to be guided by the advice of the JCVI, and no decisions have been made by ministers on whether [all] people aged 12 to 17 should be routinely offered Covid vaccines.”

AstraZeneca is also running trials on children aged six to 17 which are expected to return results by the end of the year, although at present their vaccine is not recommended to under-40s by the JCVI in most cases due to what the government describes as the “extremely small risk of thrombosis and thrombocytopenia”.

Britain’s medicines regulator, the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), has only approved the Pfizer vaccine for 12-15-year-olds at this time.

“We will be looking carefully at [the JCVI] advice when we receive it – we expect it very soon – on whether or not we should open up the vaccine programme in the first instance to those children who are just short of their 18th birthday, to those children who have particular vulnerabilities and those children who are in households where there are people who are particularly vulnerable” Cabinet minister Robert Jenrick, the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities, and Local Government, had said in comments to Sky News on Sunday.

“That seems a sensible way for us to proceed, but ministers will have to make that decision when they are armed with the final advice from the JCVI,” he added.

With the technocratic body now having recommended the vaccine be rolled out to exactly those people, it seems ministers had a fairly good idea of what that final advice would be prior to its official publication.
