Crooked Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs Pushed “Virtual Voter Registration” by Telephone

Last September, Corrupt Secretary of State Katie Hobbs fought tooth and nail for a voter registration hotline. Many saw this as a way to allow for telephone voter fraud.

The radical leftist also wanted to allow for video-conferenced “special elections boards” to aid disabled voters.

This last-second change to election laws was shunned by Governor Doug Ducey and county recorders across the State.

Not Adrian Fontes who is the former Maricopa County Recorder.

Associated Press wrote

“The responsibility of election officials to uphold our constitution and laws is not only a crucial responsibility, it should stand as the final test on whether changes to our election policies and procedures are appropriate — no exceptions,” Ducey wrote to Hobbs on Tuesday.

She said voters who call the hotline before the Oct. 5 voter registration deadline but aren’t able to register online or with a paper form should be allowed to vote as long as they first sign a paper form, even if they sign after the deadline.

“The guidance from Hobbs is nonbinding, and it’s ultimately up to officials in each county to decide whether to implement it.”

Yuma County Recorder Robyn Stallworth Pouquette, who said the guidance is illegal, said voters lose faith in the integrity of elections when they hear differing information from the state and the county.”

“Security and integrity are important, because voters really need to have trust in our offices,” said Pouquette, a Republican. “And I don’t want to support anything that would accomplish distrust.”

Pinal County Recorder Virginia Ross said the the guidance would be hard to implement.

It’s a rare public split between Hobbs and some of the recorders, who have generally presented a united and bipartisan front on election questions.

There were ugly scenes outside Downing Street today as protesters hurled bottles at police on the day lockdown was lifted.

Large groups of demonstrators chanted "shame on the police" and "arrest Boris Johnson " during a rally in Parliament Square.

Footage shows objects being hurled at officers as tempers flared in the 29C heat in central London.

Several were brandishing placards with anti-vaccination messages.

A police officer was seen to put a lock on a gate at the entrance to Parliament.

It comes as Covid cases swell, with experts warning that lockdown measures may have to be re-introduced within weeks and the PM urged people in England to be "careful".

The Met Police said 11 people have been arrested in Parliament Square for a number of offences.

A spokesman posted on Twitter: "We continue to engage with a group in Parliament Square and on Bridge Street, Westminster who are blocking roads. We are working hard to reopen the roads to minimise any disruption to transport services and to the local community.

"A number of officers continue to respond to a demonstration in Parliament Square, Westminster. Eleven people have been arrested for a variety of offences. Our policing operation continues, sadly officers have been met with hostility while engaging with crowds."

Earlier today, the force posted: "We are responding to a demonstration in Parliament Square this afternoon. A group have blocked the road which is causing traffic disruption.

"Officers are on scene, speaking with those taking part in the protest and looking to ease congestion as soon as possible."

Unfortunately for protesters the Prime Minister was not on hand to hear their calls, as he is isolating at Chequers in Buckinghamshire after coming into contact with Sajid Javid, who tested positive for Covid.

Iraq's PM To Tell Biden In White House Visit: 'US Combat Troops Have Got To Go'

Next week on July 26 President Joe Biden is expected to host Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhemi at the White House in order to "highlight the strategic partnership between the United States in Iraq," according to a US statement.

But the Iraqi side is now saying that American combat troops have got to go. Al-Kadhemi emphasized in a new statement at the start of this week: "The visit will be to set out this relationship, and to put an end to the presence of combat forces, because the Iraqi army can now fight for itself on behalf of Iraqis and the world against terrorist groups in Iraq. There is no need for combat troops."

He did say that US training and intelligence assistance, along with air power when requested would continue to aid the anti-ISIS and counterterror mission in the country.

Since Trump's final year in office, the presence of US combat forces in Iraq has been scaled down little by little, with some bases even being handed over to Iraq's army; however, Iraq's parliament all the way back in January 2020 passed a resolution demanding a full and final exit of all US troops. This was prompted by the assassination that month of IRGC Quds chief Qassem Soleimani and founder of Iraq's powerful Kataib Hezbollah militia, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis.

This was followed by large-scale protests across major Iraqi cities demanding that foreign troops leave. Since then there's also been tit-for-tat attacks between pro-Iranian Iraq groups and American forces. Recently Biden has struck 'Iran-backed' targets inside eastern Syria near the Iraq border.

Days ago US Mideast envoy Brett McGurk reportedly discussed a full US withdrawal with Kadhemi in Baghdad, in order to lay some of the groundwork for the later July meeting at the White House. According to AFP:

Some 3,500 foreign troops are still on Iraqi territory, including 2,500 Americans, who have been posted to help fight the Islamic State group since 2014.

In Washington, Kadhemi is expected to push for a concrete timetable of American troop withdrawal. The implementation of their departure could take years.

But given such a relatively small presence of about 2,500 troops, one wonders why a draw down would "take years".

No doubt a stalled US exit has much more to do with ensuring the 'security vacuum' isn't immediately filled by Iran. However, it's too little, too late given Iranian Shia ascendancy in Baghdad happened the moment the Bush administration toppled Saddam Hussein.

As cases continue to grow in NSW, Health Minister Brad Hazzard has hit out at anti-vaxxers, saying they “obviously live in another universe”.

As infections continue to grow in NSW, Brad Hazzard has hit out at the “crazy” people spreading myths about the Covid-19 jab – billed as one of Sydney’s only tickets out of its worst outbreak since the pandemic began.

After 78 cases were recorded overnight, the Health Minister had a blunt message for anti-vaxxers in his state who are currently downplaying the severity of the virus and the havoc it can wreak, urging residents not to listen to them.

“Can I just stress that anti-vaxxers obviously live in another universe, and others who give messages that this virus isn’t dangerous and [say] don’t get vaccinated clearly have no medical or scientific training,” Mr Hazzard told reporters.

“This virus is an extremely transmissible virus. It can kill you and it can kill your family and your friends.”

With an increased number of cases across a range of age groups ending up in intensive care and requiring the use of a ventilator, Mr Hazzard said is “message is strongly to the community more broadly: there is only one solution here and that is to get vaccinated”.

“Dismiss the ideas that aren’t based on science and medicine or are propagated by anti-vaxxers who live in another universe. Book yourself in for a vaccination,” he said.

“There is no question that we will not get out of this pandemic without a very substantial proportion of our population being vaccinated. So please, go and get vaccinated.

“Don’t listen to some of these crazy messages that are coming out implying that this is not a dangerous virus. It is extremely dangerous.”
