takes up January 6 counting of the votes after the Joint Session had adjourned to deliberate about the Arizona vote objection that Rep. Gosar (AZ) made. They had gaveled out of Session.

Pelosi announces that only 11 people from two political parties will be allowed on the floor and the rest will have to sit in the gallery. She did not add anything that would grant those in the gallery a voice in the proceedings.

In other words, THIS was not a lawful "Joint Session of Congress."

Clerk reads the formal objection.

"Objection to counting the electorIAL votes of the State of Arizona. We, a member of the House of Representatives and a United States Senator, object to the counting of the electoRIAL votes of the State of Arizona on the ground that they were not, under all the known circumstances, regularly given."

 

Pence: "Are there further objections to the certificates from the State of Arizona?"

(after 3 seconds you hear Pelosi say "there's none")

Pence: "The Chair hears none. The two Houses will withdraw from joint session.

 

Each House will deliberate separately on the pending objection and report its decision back to the Joint Session. The Senate will now retire to its chamber."
