The covid app trackers are optional, not compulsory. Only those stupid enough to believe the government are using them. that said, there is an alerting system on the latest iPhone iOS, don't know about Android.. I just turn mine off.

I've been going about my day to day business, not wearing a mask as normal since the beginning of this crap last year. Get the odd uninformed cretin demanding I wear a mask but they have no authority at all. Once you tell them that you're exempt there's nothing they can do about it.
If someone gets stupid about it I point them to this page on the government website and watch their face turn to a confused expression..
Meanwhile Boris the Prime Public Servant has just tried to convince people that we should still be concerned by self isolating himself after he came into contact with someone who has supposedly been Covid positive just as the restrictions ended..
