Star Trek - Season 1 Episode 23 - A Taste of Armegaddon
Basic synopsis - They visit a planet that has evolved past wars with bullets and bombs and instead have a computer "simulate" wars with casualties. The citizens deemed to have "died" in these simulated skirmishes are then called to give themselves up and walk willingly into the disintegration chambers.
Kirk and Enterprise are deemed casualties and expected to also walk into the chambers.
Kirk contacts Enterprise and tells them to execute General Order 24.
Scotty knows there is no such order and understands that there must be trouble below.
