Decided to have a look at this dam…China has almost 100,000 reservoirs…most dammed.

This is one of the big ones. Really big, with a high head. Almost 400' of head and upstream of a lot of heavily populated areas. And they have A LOT of water dammed behind it to keep the turbines loaded. This could get bad. Pray for the ones downstream if it fails.

Started doing a Google Earth overview of that whole valley and it is loaded with dams and reservoirs and the low areas are heavily populated from antiquity needing water access.

Bad situation when all the dams are overtopping and washing out their spillways.
