Only thing that came to mind was a TI calculator.
Nothing else electronic back then was that small that I can remember.
Thought of remote control door lockers, but pretty sure they didn't have them then.
Walkman's came later. Late 70's-80's.
The bell bottoms were early 70's.
Sptitalled the car as a 70 ford 2-door hardtop. Did a DDG image search and I think I'm was right.
TI calculators were a thing then.
