Amazon’s Jeff Bezos Gives $100 Million to Van Jones for ‘Courage and Civility’

Jeff Bezos announced he is giving away $100 million each to activist Van Jones and humanitarian José Andrés during a press conference Tuesday morning following his ten minute space flight with his company Blue Origin.

At the end of the press conference, Bezos said: “I have a little surprise for you. I am announcing today, a new philanthropic initiative… The Courage and Civility Award. It recognizes leaders who aim high, and who pursue solutions with courage, and who always do so with civility.”

Bezos said that “we should question ideas, not the person… we need unifiers and not vilifiers. We want people who argue hard and act hard for what they truly believe.”

“We do have role models,” Bezos said before the slideshow introduced Jones as the first recipient of the $100 million award. The award is designed for the recipients to give to charities of their choice.

Bezos has a net worth of more than $204 billion, a fortune he built through online retail giant Amazon. Bezos also owns the Washington Post.

After being announced as the winner, Jones came on stage and said, “I appreciate you [Jeff Bezos] for lifting the ceiling off of people’s dreams.”

The self-avowed communist did not specify how he intends to use the money.

The press conference then aired a video praising Van Jones for bringing together “climate justice and racial justice.”

Bezos said, “I bet Van Jones is going to do something amazing with that $100 million. I don’t know what yet. I bet he doesn’t know what yet, but it’s in your hands Van Jones.”

The second $100 million award was then given to Andrés, a Spanish chef who founded World Central Kitchen to provide meals during natural disasters. The video about Andrés featured Hillary Clinton praising him: “He is bigger than life, a force of nature, and a real gift.” Andrés is also a vocal critic of former President Donald Trump.

The former Green Jobs Advisor to Barack Obama, Van Jones signed a “9/11 truth statement” in 2004, asking for an investigation to if the Bush Administration knew about the World Trade Center Attacks before they occurred. Van Jones defended his signature in 2009, explaining that the petition did not reflect his personal views and that he did not read the petition closely.

He then stepped down from his position in the Obama Administration.

Jones also came under fire at that time for calling Republicans “assholes.” He also later claimed that conservatives have “cheap patriotism” and are willing to “kill” children for jobs.

In 2016, Jones called Donald Trump’s victory in the presidential election a “whitelash against a black president.”

Later, Van Jones admitted that Trump “has done good stuff for the black community,” and even worked with the Trump administration on criminal justice reform.

On Election Night 2020, however, in support of now-President Joe Biden, he said, “The fact that it’s this close, I think is — it hurts. It just hurts.”

He later tearfully celebrated Biden’s win on CNN:

Report: Blinken Telling Diplomats to Admit U.S. Flaws When Promoting Rights, Democracy

Secretary of State Antony Blinken is telling American diplomats deployed across the world to admit to their country’s failures when promoting human rights and U.S. democratic values, Politico reported recently.

Politico obtained a cable containing Blinken’s instructions sent to U.S. embassies across the globe Friday.

Biden’s State Department chief pointed out that populist and authoritarian forces threaten democracy as a concept abroad and in the U.S. due to “political polarization, disinformation and misinformation, and low levels of trust in government.”

Blinken, the top diplomat in the U.S., also bashed his country for its “human rights failures,” noting that too many Americans continue to experience various forms of discrimination.

The U.S. State Department sent the cable days after Blinken announced that the Biden team had invited the U.N. Special Rapporteur on contemporary forms of racism and U.S. Special Rapporteur on minority issues to make an official visit to America.

Although Blinken did not explicitly say the U.N. envoys would be able to investigate rights abuses in the United States, Politico reported that is likely the purpose of their visit.

Politico revealed Friday:

The cable is strikingly frank in acknowledging America’s internal challenges, a risky political move given current conservative anger over educational and other attempts to highlight U.S. failures on sensitive issues such as race.

In promoting human rights and democracy abroad, U.S. diplomats should make “clear that we ask no more of other countries than we ask of ourselves,” Blinken states.

The secretary’s message does not mention any critics. Still, his comments echo criticism from China and Russia, which often highlight America’s struggles with race and other issues to question U.S. credibility as an advocate of human rights and democracy.

It might be “painful, even ugly” to acknowledge America’s flaws, Blinken wrote. However, he asserted that such honesty “helps disarm critics and skeptics who would use our imperfect record at home to undercut our global leadership on these issues.

The secretary also ordered American diplomats to push human rights and democracy as a top priority even in U.S. allied nations with abusive governments.

Blinken admits that the Biden Administration will have to carefully balance its “myriad of national interests” with the fact that some of America’s close international allies are human rights abusers and even dictatorships, Politico pointed out.

“While some instances we will need to adjust the pressure we apply to avoid a rupture in the relationship, there is no relationship or situation where we will stop raising human rights concerns,” he wrote.

Blinken reportedly left the door open to the possibility of the U.S. applying pressure privately in some cases.

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) was quick to condemn Blinken for being more willing to beat up on America than repressive regimes such as Cuba.

In defending Blinken, unnamed senior State officials reportedly asserted that diplomats would also continue to highlight America’s successes.

“We still have a lot to be proud of [and] we still have a lot of faith in our resilience. We still have confidence in our ability to work through these things,” one official reportedly said.

Blinken’s instructions to diplomats are reminiscent of the Obama-Biden administration’s apologist approach to foreign policy, which embraced the notion that the United States is a flawed nation that must seek forgiveness for the sins of its past.

Former President Barack Obama’s apologist foreign policy marked a departure from the venerable tradition of U.S. diplomats promoting American exceptionalism — U.S. values and ideals — as worthy of emulation when advocating human rights and democratic values abroad.

Blinken has highlighted flaws in America’s human rights record in the past, soon after China voiced similar criticism, a move that some Republicans believe made the United States look weak.

His message to diplomats will likely trigger a backlash from conservatives who condemned the Obama-Biden administration’s apologist foreign policy agenda.

Che Guevara’s Daughter Calls for More Repression Against ‘Low Class’ Cuba Protesters

Aleida Guevara March, daughter of communist mass murderer Ernesto “Che” Guevara, has urged the Cuban Communist Party to enact more violent repressive measures against the thousands of “low-class people” protesting on the island, AmericaTeVe reported on Tuesday.

Guevara, an Argentine-Irish communist who joined Fidel Castro’s small group of violent Marxists in the takeover of the country in 1959, served as economics minister in the early days of the Cuban Revolution. He spearheaded programs to build concentration camps for suspected homosexual Cubans and Christian groups, organized firing squads against political dissidents, and openly boasted to the United Nations that the Revolution intended to kill large numbers of Cuban people.

Che Guevara also wrote somewhat extensively of his racism against black-skinned people around the world and his hatred of LGBT people, considering them unsuitable for molding into the “New Soviet Man,” as communists had vowed to do with populations under their control.

Despite all this, Guevara received – and continues to receive – outsized respect in the international community. Then-President Barack Obama posed with the portrait of Guevara in Havana’s Plaza of the Revolution during his 2016 visit there. UNESCO, the United Nations world heritage agency, celebrated Guevara’s birthday in June, sharing selectively edited video of his speech to the U.N. General Assembly in 1964. Omitted from the excerpt published by UNESCO: “Firing squad executions, yes, we have executed. We execute and we will keep executing so long as it is necessary. Our struggle is a struggle to the death.”

In other writings, Guevara stated that he “really loved to kill” and upheld hatred as the paramount virtue of socialism.

Guevara remains so popular on the international left that the Cuban exile community often denounces his image in protests against the currently standing regime, urging Americans not to sport his image on t-shirts or other paraphernalia given his history as an executioner of foreign peoples (Guevara notably did not conduct any “revolutionary” activities in Argentina and never opposed Argentine leader Juan Perón).

Guevara March made her remarks in support of communist violence throughout the past week during an interview with the far-left Radio Rebelde in Argentina, AmericaTeVe reported. The station allegedly broadcast the interview in Buenos Aires on Thursday, but it began circulating heavily in Cuban diaspora media on Tuesday.

“There are things happening manipulated by the United States,” Guevara March said of the protests in Cuba, “truly low-class people, people without scruples have taken to the streets and so some fools follow. … The people have reacted very well and the situation is getting under control,” she claimed.

Guevara March added that “we,” without specifying who she meant, were demanding greater violent force from police and that authorities “act and defend what is ours.”

A local Massachusetts Republican figure who was reportedly unvaccinated died from severe complications of the coronavirus, and many on the left pounced on the news to mock her and ridicule other Trump supporters.

Linda Zuern, 70, died on Friday at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston according to the Cape Cod Times. Zuern was known as a staunch conservative and stalwart supporter of former President Donald Trump. She also appeared to support the QAnon conspiracy theory.

Her family said that Zuern had not been vaccinated when she contracted the coronavirus. She had been in a coma and in a ventilator before she died.

After news of her death reached social media, many on the left pounced to politicize her passing.

"On todays episode of I DONT GIVE A F*** Linda Zuern, an Unvaccinated trump supporter who spread coronavirus conspiracy theories has died from COVID Darwin strikes again Anybody care?" responded an anti-Trump account.

"They are directly to blame for people exposing others and for incalculable covid spread. I'll laugh at every one of them for the tears others have to shed for their lost loved ones," said another.

"Tough break, Linda Zuern. I know she's not the first unvaccinated Trump supporter to die from what she insisted was a hoax, she certainly won't be the last, and I guarantee Trump doesn't give a f*** and won't even send flowers to the funerals," replied another critic.

"Quoting Linda Zuern, Q follower, dead from Covid, 'Where we go one, we go all.' Covid's delta variant responds, 'That works for us.' What a stupid, stupid tragedy," read another tweet.

"Too bad the unvaccinated trump supporter, Linda Zuern, couldn't have just gone quietly. How many people were harmed or killed by her nutty fb posts? Ignorance and idiocy can be deadly. I'm sure MAGAs will sanctify her with Ashley Babbitt," responded one critic on Twitter.

"She died of Science Denying modern day Republican Trumpism. Propaganda killed her. I wonder if she still thought she was right as she sucked in her last breath. Too bad," tweeted another.

Zuern was very active in her local community, her church, and served as a local Republican committee official.

Wendy Rogers recently caused an uproar in establishment media when she quoted an article about the surging rate of illegal immigration under Joe Biden and declared, “We are being replaced and invaded.” Instead of backing down, Rogers released a second statement doubling down and declaring that she “will not back down from this statement.”

On July 17, Rogers shared an article from Breitbart Texas and declared that revealed 730,000 migrants have crossed illegally into the United States from Mexico, and declared, “We are being replaced and invaded.”

AZ Central, an establishment local mouthpiece of USA TODAY, ran an opinion article declaring that she is dogwhistling “to white supremacists” and called her statement “gross”. The website used another man’s words to liken her statement to “hate and extremism”, and said she is echoing the “‘great replacement’ myth” that suggests native-born American citizens are being replaced by foreign born immigrants. Biden Comms Director Targets ‘Conservative News Outlets’ That Post ‘Irresponsible Content’ About Controversial Vaccines

White House Comms Director Kate Bedingfield appeared to call for the censorship of news platforms that are not wholly aligned with the Biden regime on Tuesday, bemoaning the spread of “irresponsible content” and “misinformation” by “conservative news outlets” during an interview on MSNBC.

“Well, we’re reviewing that, and certainly they should be held accountable,” Bedingfield said of Big Tech giants Facebook and Twitter. “And I think you heard the President speak very aggressively about this, he understands this is an important piece of the ecosystem, but it’s also the other thing the President has pointed out, and spoke to when he was asked about this yesterday is, it is also the responsibility of the people creating the content.”

“And again, I would go back to, there are conservative news outlets who are creating irresponsible content that’s sharing misinformation about the vacc – about the virus, that’s getting shared on these platforms,” Bedingfield added.

Biden spokeswoman Jen Psaki has previously called for Big Tech platform to coordinate their deplatforming and censorship of opposition voices, so that dissent from the regime can be purged from the online sphere more effectively:

“Providing, uh, for Facebook or other platforms to publicly share the impact of misinformation on their platform, uh, and the audience it’s reaching, uh, also with the public,” Psaki said on Monday. “With all of you. Uh, to create robust enforcement strategies that bridge their properties and provide transparency about rules. You shouldn’t be banned from one platform and not others, uh, if you, for, uh, providing misinformation out there.”

Despite the Biden regime’s efforts to work hand-in-hand with private Big Tech companies to restrict free speech, alternative and independent media outlets have been able to find success on pro-First Amendment platforms such as Gab and Telegram, much to the chagrin of corporate journalists.

Shades of Clinton: Joe Biden used private email to send government information to Hunter

Emails on laptop seized by FBI show State Department information flowing from VP to son regarding release of American prisoner.

In a communications backdoor reminiscent of Hillary Clinton's infamous private server, President Biden used a personal email account during the Obama years to send information he was getting from the State Department as vice president to his globetrotting, foreign-deal-making son Hunter Biden.

Messages, sometimes signed "Dad," from the email account robinware456@gmail.com were found on a Hunter Biden laptop seized by the FBI in December 2019 from a Delaware computer shop owner.

Some of the messages from the vice president to his son obtained by Just the News were deeply personal, others were political in nature, and still others clearly addressed business matters, often forwarding information coming from senior officials in the White House, the State Department and other government agencies.

For instance, in late November 2014 the U.S. embassy in Istanbul sent an email to the State Department that was then forwarded to senior advisers to Joe Biden, including national security expert Michael Carpenter, providing an early alert that an American named Martin O'Connor was about to be released from detention in Turkey.

"The lead attorney for Mr. O'Connor reports that the court granted the detention appeal and he expected Mr. O'Connor to be released from jail today, barring any unforeseen problems," the U.S. embassy in Instanbul wrote in an email that got forwarded to top Obama administration security and diplomacy officials, including current Undersecretary of State Victoria Nuland. "Mr. O'Connor will not be allowed to leave the country until his next hearing which is set for December 11, 2014. The lawyer expressed confidence that he will be able to leave after that hearing. The attorney is handling his release arrangements, pick up and temporary housing near his law firm's office. Istanbul consular plans to speak with Mr. O'Connor after his release."

State Department officials forwarded the information to the vice president's office, where Biden aide Colin Kahl (now President Biden's Undersecretrary of Defense for Policy) sent it to Joe Biden's private email. The vice president then sent it to his son Hunter Biden with the subject line "Fwd: Mr. O'Connor Being Released from Detention today."

A former senior Obama administration official confirmed to Just the News that some administration officials knew of the robinware456@gmail.com email address for Joe Biden and used it from time to time. "I saw it used to communicate with his family and friends or to pass information to them," the official told Just the News, speaking only on condition of anonymity because of fear of reprisal.

The emails obtained by Just the News show numerous Obama administration officials communicated or were aware of the private email address or had their information sent to it, including current Secretary of State Tony Blinken.

Anthony Mundine fined for second time after allegedly breaching COVID-19 restrictions

Former boxing and rugby league star Anthony Mundine has been fined after allegedly breaching COVID-19 public health orders for a second time.

A spokesperson for NSW Police confirmed a 46-year-old man, who 9News understands was Mundine, entered a store in Kingsgrove, south-west Sydney yesterday afternoon without wearing a mask.

When asked to wear a facemask by an employee of the store, Mundine allegedly claimed he was exempt.

The former boxer then allegedly refused to scan the QR code at the store.

Police were called to the store before visiting his home in South Hurstville. He was then issued with a fine.

Conradson: The Arizona audit hearing revealed some shocking findings. What stood out to you the most and what do you think the consequences should be for those responsible for these discrepancies or crimes or whatever you want to call it?

Rogers: I would say that the things that really jumped out at me from the hearing last week was you know the 37,000+ security queries in March that occurred, where logs were deleted, the almost 4000, registered voters who, You know registered, and then voted after the October 15 deadline, and then, of course, the 11,000 who voted, who weren’t on the voter rolls, you know, the 3rd of November but showed up in December on the fourth of December and then, of course, the 18,000 who voted and were removed from the roles, after the election, but then the biggest data point that jumped out at all of us, was the fact that over 74,000 mail-in ballots occurred without any evidence of anything having been sent to them. And think about this, the memo that we now have found that Maricopa County sent out. That said, Hey, “Sharpies, are what the rule of the day will be on election day”, and you know I just tried it last night on a regular piece of paper, and my printer using a sharpie as though I were filling in a bubble and clearly, you know it bled through to the other side which then, of course, calls into question the ballot, and makes it have to be adjudicated, and the fact that sharpies were encouraged just solely for election day, really begs the question. As everyone knew Republicans waited to vote on election day as they did in my four counties, you know, predominantly did show up on that day. So, we have to keep moving forward. We have to keep moving the ball down the field. We have to open one door so that we go to the next one, and seek out the truth. We have to expose the fraud, and we’ve got to get our country back and there are just no two ways about it.

Conradson: I think it was 168,000 of these ballots that were printed on-site on the incorrect paper, that, allowed for bleed throughs as well. Jack Sellers, released a bogus statement where he deflected, he said you’re wrong, he said you should be ashamed. And he basically said prepare prepared to defend the report, the county, Maricopa County did the same thing on Twitter, deflecting, bogus fact checks. What do you think of their response?

Rogers: I think the cover-up is always worse than the crime, and I think that they only have evidence to cover up, if they’re so intransigent, and they’re so resistant to us looking into the truth. and I was just asked on another interview, “why are they this way?” And I can only surmise that they’re deeply embarrassed. When they signed up to be a County Official, little did they know that by taking the oath that they would be ultimately responsible for what a national election could hinge on. Little did they know I mean little did I know when I ran for state senate that I would be in a pivotal role as a state senator, but of course, the US Constitution supports that fact that state legislatures are responsible, unequivocally, for Presidential Elections.

Conradson: We’re still waiting for the passwords, the Splunk logs, and the routers from the county, do you know what the next step in enforcing those subpoenas are?
