I have a vague recollection of POTUS getting some schtick from MSM for attending a funeral or memorial service for two NYPD officers last year - sorry I can't be more precise. Maybe someone else recalls.

Two officers died in the line of duty last year. Sergeant Paul J. Tuozzolo of the NYPD was shot and killed in the line of duty in the Bronx and New York State Trooper Timothy Pratt was killed in the line of duty after being struck by a vehicle while he was assisting a tractor-trailer driver stopped on the side of the road near Saratoga.
