I think I remember reading where they say it has something to do with our extended life expectancy. Kids are Kids longer as well because of that. I say it's just bad parenting and the school system that are keeping kids kids longer and longer. I refuse to believe that kids were more mature back in the old days than they are now. Could be what's in the water and food too come to think of it.

COVID-19 deaths between UK and US similar despite vaccination differences

United States health experts are now calling COVID-19 the pandemic of the unvaccinated as almost every hospital admission and death is among those who've refused the vaccine.

Michael Avenatti faces embezzlement trial in California

SANTA ANA, Calif. (AP) โ€” Michael Avenatti, the brash lawyer recently sentenced to 2 1/2 years in prison a $25 million extortion case in New York, is expected to face a trial Wednesday in California on charges he embezzled millions from his clients.

Opening statements are scheduled in Santa Ana in the second trial this month for Avenatti, who once represented porn actress Stormy Daniels in her lawsuit against President Donald Trump. Avenatti is expected to represent himself in the case after U.S. District Court Judge James V. Selna on Tuesday granted his request to do so.

Federal prosecutors in Southern California have accused the 50-year-old lawyer, who is currently suspended from practicing law in California, of cheating five of his clients out of nearly $10 million by negotiating and collecting settlement payments on their behalf and funneling them to accounts he controlled.

In one case, authorities said Avenatti collected $4 million from Los Angeles County for a man who suffered injuries in custody and was left paraplegic after a suicide attempt. Avenatti denied the settlement was received and paid much smaller amounts to the man ranging from $1,000 to $1,900, which he said were advances on the broader settlement, prosecutors said in court filings.

First Weinstein's been extradited to California

Now it looks like Avenatti

I wonder what's up with sending them all the California.

There's no concrete proof one way or the other right now. Suppositions and theories are not proof. Either it was a gain of function virus or it was a normal flu virus that was overhyped to push the vaxx.

Anyway

3 existing drugs fight coronavirus with โ€˜almost 100%โ€™ success in Jerusalem lab

Israeli scientists say they have identified three existing drugs that have good prospects as COVID-19 treatments, reporting that they illustrated high ability to fight the virus in lab tests.

They placed the substances with live SARSโ€‘CoVโ€‘2 and human cells in vitro. The results โ€œshowed that the drugs can protect cells from onslaught by the virus with close to 100 percent effectiveness, meaning that almost 100% of the cells lived despite being infected by the virus,โ€ Prof. Isaiah Arkin, the Hebrew University biochemist behind the research, told The Times of Israel.

โ€œBy contrast, in normal circumstances, around half the cells would have died after two days following contact with the virus.โ€ He added there are strong indications that the drugs will be robust against changing variants.

When confronting SARSโ€‘CoVโ€‘2, the drugs in question โ€” darapladib, which currently treats atherosclerosis; the cancer drug Flumatinib; and an HIV medicine โ€” donโ€™t target the spike protein. Rather, they target one of two other proteins: the envelope protein and the 3a protein. These proteins โ€” especially the envelope protein โ€” hardly change between variants, and even between diseases from the coronavirus family. As such, drugs that target them are likely to remain effective in spite of mutations, Arkin said.

At least he admitted that Echohealth was used as a middle man to cover the tracks of it going to Wuhan as long as nobody looked too closely. Those pesky emails.

Pentagon gave millions to EcoHealth Alliance for weapons research program

The Defense Department doled out millions of dollars to the same nonprofit that funneled federal grant money to the Wuhan Institute of Virology for bat coronavirus research โ€” with most of the Pentagon money going toward murky research on countering biological weapons.

New York City-based EcoHealth Alliance has already come under scrutiny for redirecting funds from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to the Chinese lab, from where many believe COVID-19 leaked to set off the worst pandemic in a century.

But federal spending data shows that EcoHealth has a long and profitable relationship with the Pentagon, receiving $41.91 million in awards since fiscal year 2008. Thatโ€™s more than three times the next-largest amount awarded to it by any other agency over the same period ($13.17 million from the Department of Health and Human Services).

Of the $41.91 million, $37.61 million was awarded to EcoHealth Alliance by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), which describes its mission as โ€œto protect the United States and its allies by enabling the DoD and international partners to detect, deter, and defeat WMD and threat networks.โ€

What a racket. They are funding the very gain of function viruses that they are getting paid yet again by another government entity to fight against.
