I work with a woman who has given her notice after a decade and a half with our company. We are located in the north eastern US. I asked her if she was retiring early, she's 53. She said her husband is in a family owned funeral business, which I had known about, that business is so good she won't have to work a regular job and intends to help out at the funeral home part-time.
