How many times in the history of man did Babylon rise and then fall, rise and then fall again?

God made the world, and He made us in his image, and He gave us dominion over the earth, and it was good. And He gave man everything that was on the earth, even the choice between life and the ability to know both good and evil. So the choice was made.

And here we are again…. Studying relentlessly all the ways of evil. As though we have the power to stop evil. We are not God. Yet so many want to believe that.

We can still receive what was once given to us by God–and we can still choose life. But will we ever return to the place where God had already made everything for us that we would ever need, and where everything was good? Will we once again appreciate and understand what it means to have been made by Him in His own image? Or will we simply build another Babylon.
