I did some digging on retired detectives. Didn't come up with much. I don't think Familia is right.

I'm not sure we need to know their names. At least not yet. Thought about searching articles based on Weiner's laptop incase a reporter sourced one of the detectives.

I thought the detective that had a heart attack on the job could have been one.

Did YOU read the part about "his caregiver"? Also the part about "appearing AT TIMES"? Just because they kept him on payroll does not mean he actually worked. Probably cheaper to pay him a salaery than worker's comp.
