Let's stop everything and have POTUS write a special EO so you can stop paying your mortgage. That's what I'm here for.
I think she's the closest we have to a definite so far.
-
She was killed near the middle of the year (as per Q's post)
-
Her killer had just seen a psychiatrist recently, and was in possession of psychiatric meds.
-
She had transferred from Central Booking just three weeks prior.
-
Central Booking handles evidence, and gives it to the evidence clerk.
-
Central Booking is just 1.6 miles from HA and AW's home, so there's a good chance it was taken there.
-
It fits with Q's post re: chain of custody, as this anon pointed out:

No idea about the second detective yet, but we'll get it soon enough.
Correction: Q didn't mention anything about "chain of custody". But what that anon pointed out makes sense: the FBI said that they didn't have a full accounting of the chain of custody.
What does that mean? It means that anything on there could be argued to have been put on there, because they didn't know where it was at all times. By killing this woman they may have been trying to open themselves a shot at winning a defense case where they argue that the files were planted.
I don't think this is the guy, but posting just in case

Another former nypd dead in 2017. Don't think it's this guy, either, but building an inventory of leads in case we get really stuck.

This one isn't NYPD, but it's definitely suspicious and in the right time frame. NY Post published a story about her death appearing to be a suicideโฆhalf an hour before the NYPD even announced that they'd found her body:
