Lee county mosquito control district
Stumbled across this while looking at adsb exchange. Found these planes operating tonight over Lehigh acres in southwest Florida (see pics)
Looked up “Lee county mosquito control district” and did a little digging. Was hoping to find information on what chemicals south Floridians are being exposed to but it seems they want to keep that hidden. May have to file public records request but I’m sure it will be some blend of “trade secrets” they aren’t obligated to disclose.

Section 9. Breeding places -
(1) Any breeding place for any species of mosquitoes, or any other arthropod of public health importance, which exists by reason of any use made of the land on which it is found, or of any artificial change in its natural condition, is hereby declared to be a public nuisance. Such nuisance may be abated as provided by this chapter or by any other Jaw.
Section 12. Eminent domain -
The board may hold control and acquire by gift or purchase any real or personal property for the use of the district and may condemn any land or easements needed to carry out the purposes of this act. The board may exercise the right of eminent domain and institute and maintain condemnation proceedings as provided in chapter 73, Florida Statutes.
Here’s my take:
The state of Florida offers grants to city’s/counties for implementing mosquito control districts which eventually will be funded by taxes. I imagine the citizens voted for this but considering how cucked our elections are it’s almost not worth stating. Earliest budget I could find in a quick search on their website was 2015-2016 at 16.5mm. To kill little bugs that have coexisted alongside our species for thousands of years. 2020-2021 was 24.3mm which has been pretty consistent with previous 3 budget years.
Looking at the enabling act “Laws of Florida Chapter 98-461” on their website revealed some interesting points.
These two stuck out as a Segway to fuck over land owners/tax payers.
Section 9 (breeding places)
Section 12 (imminent domain)
In section 9 it refers to a mosquito that has any artificial change in it’s natural condition is declared a public nuisance. Recall last year and beginning of this year that British based company “Oxitec” got the approval of EPA and state regulators to release nearly 1 billion genetically modified mosquitos in FL and TX. The same brits that to this day, cannot define what a toothbrush is for.
These modified mosquitos have undergone artificial change which then can be the basis of imminent domain (section 12) or a revolving door of sucking the landowner of his/her money while they “treat” the nuisance at landowners expense.
My faith in humanity has me pondering the possibility that this district and many others were set up for the sole purpose of defeating these genetically modified, possible vaccine transferring, mosquitos. Time will tell, maybe not.

But but.. “Where We Go 1 We Go All”
Too many conundrums to list
