(1) Today I started the process of reclaiming my good name and reputation after the House Impeachment Managers used manufactured evidence attributed to me during President Trump's second impeachment trial earlier this year.
(2) I have instructed my lawyer, Bruce L. Castor, Jr., to file a federal lawsuit today against DOAR, Inc. DOAR was hired by the House Impeachment Managers to develop their video strategy during the impeachment trial.
(3) The lawsuit alleges DOAR defamed me, put me in a false light/invaded my privacy, and used my name/image/likeness in an unauthorized way when it obtained and published an image of one of my tweets that contained false information and content.
(4) That altered tweet contained a blue verification check mark, a profile picture of me, and a date that were not in my original tweet.
(5) Some people and media outlets will no doubt claim this lawsuit is a politically charged lawsuit.
Let me be clear. IT IS NOT.
(6) No private citizens, no matter who they vote for or what they believe in, should have their name dragged in the mud so that partisan politicians can score political points on a national stage.
