More Evidence Leaked from China on the Deliberate Release of COVID-19 by the Chinese Military

The following information was provided by a source inside China who has knowledge of the circumstances and has been vetted.

COVID-19 was created in a laboratory by the Chinese People’s Liberation Army and fine-tuned as a bioweapon.

It was specifically designed to be highly contagious, but often asymptomatic, have low lethality, but produce uncontrollable variants and possessing characteristics providing plausible deniability as a bioweapon.

According to Chinese military doctrine, such bioweapons are used prior to a declaration of war for political or international strategic needs, where the use of which can be denied. The intent (underlined) being:

A fully formed sample of COVID-19 was ready for testing in early 2019, while a parallel vaccine program was underway.

Scientists from the Wuhan Institute of Virology were chosen to participate in non-human primate (monkeys) transmission testing, simulated coronavirus release and response exercises such as at Wuhan’s Tianhe airport in September 2019 and an actual test release of COVID-19 at the 2019 Military World Games from October 18–27, 2019.

The source mentioned special health screenings at the Military Games, perhaps as a means of monitoring the results of a small, short-term test release of COVID-19.

A statement allegedly made by a Chinese People’s Liberation Army officer at the time was “Let the white pigs have some.”

The release of COVID-19 at the Military World Games was also a test of the longer term effects of that type of bioweapon because foreign visitors to the Games would carry it back to their own countries and the consequences could be observed.

Because COVID-19 was designed for plausible deniability, infections could not be easily traced back to China and it could also be attributed to a natural origin.

The source explained that the subsequent outbreak in Wuhan was entirely unexpected. That is, there was no laboratory leak, but the unintended spread among the Chinese population of Wuhan of a virus for which they had underestimated its transmissibility.

Beijing learned about the silent spreading of COVID-19 by the beginning of December, but kept it quiet and allowed international flights from Wuhan to continue.

38 Arrested in Child Trafficking Crackdown

Around 100 potential victims have been identified and 38 people arrested following a week long law enforcement crackdown targeting child traffickers.

The activity, which took place in the week of 28 June, was the latest strand of Project Aidant, the U.K. National Crime Agency (NCA)-led law enforcement response to modern slavery and human trafficking.

It was also part of a Europe-wide operation, co-ordinated in the U.K. by the NCA’s Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Unit, and involved 19 police forces from across the U.K., as well as other partners including Border Force, Immigration Enforcement, British Transport Police, HM Revenue and Customs and the Department for Work and Pensions.

In the year ending 2020, 4,946 children entered the National Referral Mechanism claiming to be victims of trafficking and exploitation in the U.K. Once trafficked, children are often sold on into forms of modern slavery and exploitation, including forced criminality, labor, and sexual exploitation.

Of those arrested, 18 were for child criminal and drug related exploitation, 11 were for sexual exploitation, while the rest were for a variety of offenses including domestic servitude, labor exploitation and general trafficking.

In all 99 potential victims were identified through a range of law enforcement activity initiating 51 new investigations. Although the activity targeted those exploiting children, a number of adult potential victims were also located as a result of the work, with 72 children and 27 adults identified. Of these, 55 safeguarding referrals were submitted via the National Referral Mechanism.

The intensification period saw increased police presence at London tube and rail stations where suspected victims of child trafficking were thought to be forced to work as pick pockets.

The NCA and Metropolitan Police Service also searched what they suspected to be a brothel where young Romanian girls and women were allegedly being exploited in East London. The search officers didn’t encounter any children, but they did find several Romanian women working in distressing conditions and being sold for as low as £20 per hour for sex work. An investigation has also begun into potentially fraudulent claims being made by people at the address.

Due to the poor conditions of the premises and reports of anti-social behavior, the Metropolitan Police Service will be taking steps to close the brothel and safeguard the potential victims.

Police Scotland identified and safeguarded five minors that had allegedly been trafficked to the U.K., launching five new investigations.

Border Force officers also carried out additional checks at the Channel Tunnel terminal in Coquelles to detect potential victims of trafficking traveling through U.K. juxtaposed controls, finding a Romanian male traveling in a minibus, coming to work in the U.K. for the first time with no work permit. His traveling companions had recruited him from his village and paid for his travel and documentation. He expected to earn just £40 a day. The man has been safeguarded due to his perceived vulnerability and obvious signs of distress.

Liam Harrison from the NCA’s Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Unit said: “This activity, which was months in the making, identified and safeguarded victims of child trafficking and disrupted those controlling them.

“Our joint work across the week has also sparked a number of new investigations and it is expected that these results will rise over the coming weeks as our operational activity continues.”

The joint week of action was part of a wider EMPACT intensification which involved partners from across Europe. The wider activity saw a total of 175 arrests and 187 potential victims identified across Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Germany, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

Fully vaccinated people are 65% more likely to be hospitalised & 1540% more likely to die due to Covid-19 than people who are unvaccinated according to latest Public Health England data

Public Health England have released the 19th technical briefing on Covid-19 variants of concern and it shows that people who’ve received at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine make up over 65% of all alleged Covid-19 deaths from February 1st 2021 through to July 19th 2021.

Since the 18th report released on 9th July which covered deaths and hospitalisations due to Covid-19 up to the 21st June 2021, the number of fully vaccinated people being hospitalised with Covid-19 has increased by 169%, rising from 313 to 843. Whilst the number of fully vaccinated people sadly losing their life after allegedly testing positive for Covid-19 has increased by 90%, rising from 116 to 265.

This significant increase has taken place over the past four weeks, whereas the previous numbers had accumulated over nearly 5 months.

As of the 19th July 2021, 121,402 people who are unvaccinated have tested positive for the allegedly rampant and dominant Delta Covid-19 variant. Whereas 28,773 fully vaccinated people have tested positive for the same variant. Of these 13,427 were fully vaccinated and over the age of 50. The 28,773 cases of fully vaccinated people allegedly infected with the Delta variant of Covid-19 is an increase of 166% over the figure seen just four weeks ago which stood at 10,834.

A further 33,003 people have also tested positive for the Delta variant after having a single dose of a Covid-19 vaccine at least 21 days prior to their positive result. And a further 21,088 people have tested positive for the Delta variant less than 21 days after having a single dose of a Covid-19 vaccine.

Tony Podesta Hired By Huawei To 'Warm Relations With Biden Administration'

Chinese telecom giant Huawei is hiring Democratic lobbyist Tony Podesta to try and 'warm relations with the Biden administration,' according to Politico which cites two people familiar with the matter.

Podesta will work to advance a variety of the company’s goals in Washington, according to one of the people. He declined to comment. A spokesperson for Huawei also declined to comment.

Huawei faces a host of challenges in Washington. In February 2020, the Justice Department charged the company with violating the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, or RICO — a key DOJ tool for going after organized crime. DOJ alleged that Huawei helped Iran’s authoritarian government build out its domestic surveillance capabilities and tried to secretly do business in North Korea. The Justice Department has also brought charges against the company’s chief financial officer, Meng Wanzhou. She was arrested in Canada, where she is fighting extradition to the U.S. Huawei and Meng maintain their innocence. Huawei has said the accusations are an effort to “irrevocably damage” its reputation and business, as CNBC has reported.

Podesta, the art-collecting, red-shoe wearing, K-street lobbyist whose firm self-destructed after he became a target in the Mueller probe, was reportedly offered immunity to testify against former partner Paul Manafort.

Manafort and Podesta both made millions together as unregistered agents on a pro-Russia project in Ukraine. While Podesta had the uncanny foresight to retroactively file as a foreign agent in April 2017, Manafort did not, and was subsequently found guilty of tax fraud, failing to disclose foreign bank accounts, and bank fraud.

China Hits US Entities With Retaliatory Sanctions, Including Wilbur Ross, Over Hong Kong Warnings

In the latest growing tit-for-tat China has hit back at Washington after last Friday the US sanctioned seven Chinese officials related to Hong Kong anti-democracy, pro-mainland policies and crackdown on activists. Part of last Friday's "message" which resounded loudest was the Biden administration's direct warning to American companies of "risks of incurring legal and reputational damage if they conduct business in Hong Kong" given the rapidly shifting legal landscape. "The situation in Hong Kong is continuing to deteriorate," the White House had said days ago. "The risks faced in mainland China are now increasingly present in Hong Kong."

This angered Beijing enough to now a week later on Friday announced retaliatory sanctions, specifically against six American individuals and one entity - the exact number targeted in the prior US sanctions - but which crucially includes Trump's Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross.

Earlier Beijing had warned that retaliatory action was coming: "China will respond firmly and forcefully to the measures taken by the United States," the foreign ministry said last Friday.

The US basis for its initial sanctions, the latest in a series ever since the draconian June 2020 national security law was passed in Hong Kong resulting in pro-independence activists either fleeing or being jailed, is that China is breaking the 2020 Hong Kong Autonomy Act.

Last week's sanctions and a new White House business advisory arrived just over one year after former President Donald Trump ordered an end to Hong Kong's special status under US law to punish China for what he called "oppressive actions" against the former British colony. At the time that major shift was unveiled and announced by Ross himself - thus the symbolism in Friday's action by Beijing is very clear.

Instagram restores posts issuing DEATH THREATS against Iran’s Ayatollah Khamenei, claiming these are in ‘public interest’

Despite its policy banning death threats against political figures, Instagram has cited “public interest” in restoring a number of clips calling for “Death to Khamenei” – a reference to the country’s supreme leader.

The platform had previously removed the videos, due to violations of its community guidelines against “violence and incitement.” The posts were mainly related to the ongoing protests over water shortages in the Islamic Republic’s Khuzestan province.

In a statement to the Middle East Eye news outlet, the company said the videos had been restored after it was decided that the phrase “Death to Khamenei” was being used as a “proxy to criticize and protest against the government”.

“Calling for the death of politicians is not allowed under our policies and we were initially removing posts that included #DeathtoKhamenei,” an unnamed spokesperson for Facebook, which owns Instagram, told the outlet.

“However, after evaluation, we became aware that this phrase is used as a proxy to criticize the Iranian government, rather than a violent threat, and restored posts that we initially removed. We solicited feedback from local experts and human rights experts in determining this,” the spokesperson said.

Although the company did not specify who the “experts” it consulted were, the blocked content was restored after some prominent Iranian personalities had accused the platform of censorship. Hip-hop artist Hichkas termed the removal of the posts “ridiculous.”

Over the past week, the oil-rich southwestern province has seen sometimes violent demonstrations, during which general anti-government slogans have been prominent. A number of deaths have been reported, after the security forces were mobilized to disperse the crowds.

“Officials have a duty to deal with Khuzestan’s current problems, and if someone thinks about the people, he cannot stay indifferent toward the difficult problems of Khuzestan. It is the urgent, clear and constant duty of governments to think about the people,” the ayatollah shared on his official Instagram account on Thursday.

India’s opposition demands inquiry into alleged govt ‘treason’ over use of Pegasus spyware

A key opposition figure in India has called for an investigation into the use of the Pegasus spyware software and accused PM Narendra Modi’s government of “treason” for its alleged deployment of the surveillance tech.

Speaking on Friday in the wake of a series of reports about the alleged use of the Israeli-made Pegasus spyware by a number of governments worldwide, Rahul Gandhi called for officials in India to investigate how widespread the impact was against the Indian state and institutions.

Gandhi, whose name was included among a list of Indian politicians, journalists and government critics allegedly targeted, accused the Modi administration of “treason” following reports of its involvement.

Pegasus is classified by the Israeli state as a weapon and that weapon is supposed to be used against terrorists.

The database of phone numbers of more than 50,000 individuals allegedly targeted around the world using the software was obtained by French media outlet Forbidden Stories and human rights group Amnesty International, with over a dozen partnered news organizations reporting the details since Sunday. Among the numbers on the list, more than 1,000 are from India, with 300 affected individuals identified so far.

Modi’s government has not denied that covert surveillance occurred or that the Pegasus software was used to spy on Indian citizens, but stated that any monitoring was done in accordance with existing Indian rules.

Pegasus worked by infecting phones using spear-phishing to convince victims to click a malicious link in a text message or email. However, it is thought that further developments allowed the spyware to exploit vulnerabilities in a phone’s operating system to infiltrate the device in a ‘zero-click’ attack.

The software hails from Israeli firm NSO Group, which has “firmly” denied “false claims” made by The Guardian and other outlets about who is targeted by the tool. It said journalists are spreading “uncorroborated theories” that are “based on misleading interpretation of leaked data from accessible and overt basic information.”

Vaccinated employees of California city required to wear stickers if they want to work without masks

A California city has ordered its employees to wear a sticker identifying their fully vaccinated status if they choose to come to work without a mask, amid a growing global trend of distinguishing the vaxxed from the uninjected.

The city of Montclair, located in California’s Pomona Valley, has decreed that starting next week, employees who want to work without a mask will have to wear a sticker showing they’ve had a Covid shot.

According to City Manager Edward Starr, the policy is designed to ensure that Montclair is in compliance with a June directive issued by California’s workplace safety board, which instructs all vaccinated workers in the state to submit evidence or sign a pledge they have been vaccinated if they choose to abstain from wearing a face mask.

In response to recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, California issued new guidance in April stating that fully vaccinated individuals could forgo masks in most settings.

The city official claimed that California’s Department of Public Health was encouraging the use of stickers on employee ID badges “to demonstrate they have been fully vaccinated.” He dismissed the notion that the labels could be seen as potentially problematic, and stressed that the policy would help the city to fulfill state and federal guidelines.

Starr also pointed to the fact that the CDC offers a selection of printable stickers that workplaces can provide to employees who get vaccinated. However, it doesn't appear that the public health authority has issued guidance recommending stickers be used as forms of identification.

But the reasons given for the new measure didn’t persuade city councilman Ben Lopez, who argued the policy was a violation of employee privacy and warned it could result in Montclair getting dragged to court.

“This policy is being rushed through and rammed down the throats of our employees with no legal counsel being sought and no discussion from our City Council,” Lopez said during a council meeting earlier this week. “I think we are on shaky legal ground.”

The councilman expressed concern that the stickers could make employees “uncomfortable” around one another and that they may even create a “level of ostracism” in the workplace.

Starr pushed back against the criticism by claiming that a “number of complaints” about the city’s approach to certifying vaccination status had already been filed with state authorities. But Lopez openly challenged this allegation, noting that he hadn’t heard of a single case in which a city employee had objected to how Montclair deals with such matters.
