Oregon AG condemns proposed Purdue/Sackler bankruptcy settlement
Oregon Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum is not on board with Purdue Pharma’s $4.3 billion settlement of opioid litigation and bankruptcy restructuring.
Rosenblum was one of nine state attorneys general to file a formal objection this week, asking a federal judge to reject the proposed plan, which includes a lifetime legal shield for the Sackler family, which owns Purdue and is one of the wealthiest families in the country.
