Interesting that the Coulee Dam gunfire occured a few hours after a reported fire required the Washington State DOT to close roads and State Troopers to evacuate Steamboat Rock State Park so firefighting aircraft could operate.
Then people were watching and taping aircraft firing weapons…not dropping water.

I went back and saw where other Anons were already on this trail…I figured I must have missed it since it was too juicy and low hanging to still be pickable. Great minds all the same.
More like a muzzle brake on a heavy than a flash suppressor on a shoulder-fired. Even cheap assed A2 birdcages do a pretty good job of flash hiding…whatever is up at the top of that hill or beyond it def isn't using flash suppression. And to keep doing it from roughly the same position is a spectacularly effective way to get high speed lead poisoning.

Beginning to think this WASN'T an exercise. If you look and listen about halfway through you can multiple grenades going off and puffs of smoke near one of the upper firing positions. Putting training explosions that close to operators is pretty edgy for practice. We'll never know, but now I'm wondering if this was a special op to stop a dam busting mission. You know make it rain on ours, we'll blow yours up kinda thing.
