Once long ago I had a gray pamphlet from IBM which was about the future of computers. One statement was that no one would ever require more than 640 KB ram. That was in the late 80ies. How much random access memory do your dwvices have now?
I'm easy on imagining to have a rig that poccesses 64 cores or even 1024, why not? In the age of industrialization the peak may be computers designing better versions of themselves.
My offline rigs a run with win7(sp2) + linux mint (19.x). My ol storage is mainly usb sticks formated with linux.
Not using wlan/bluetooth for data transit. Checking every backup twice & thrice. Only online /w 2 phones, phonefaggin /w 2 seperate providers.
Not perfect, but best I can do /w my limited resources and skills.
