Banning your kids from using a computer is a good way to groom them for pedophiles. It encourages kids to lie to you and deceive you, both characteristics that pedophiles need to succeed in abusing your children. It also gives pedophiles with the treat that that use to ENTICE children into illicit sex. Now they can give the child a mobile phone so that they can do the things which you have forbidden.
An autist would see this at once. You do NOT want to build a pattern of deceit with your kids. Instead, set up a computer in the corner of the livingroom where someone on the couch can see the screen. Teach the child how to use the computer SAFELY. Set rules around the amount of time they can spend and when they can spend it. For instance two hours in the evening after homework and chores. Then, one hour before bedtime, they have to go to their room for quite time, maybe read a book or practice an instrument. There is NEVER a computer in the child's room.
Integrate the computer use into the child's educational life which goes beyond just school lessons and homework. Find useful YouTube channels for them to watch like Khan Academy. It's in the livingroom so keep and eye on it, and discuss what they are doing on a regular basis.

In the real world when parents push their kid away by mistreating them, the kids DO turn to drugs, to pedophiles, to crime.

For the past 6 months we have been the laser pointer for the stupid cats. While the clowns were chasing us here, POTUS and MI were able to get things done without the clowns realizing what was going down. Q would tell us to look to the starboard, all the clowns would rush starboard, and SEAL teams would come over the port side of the ship, take out the radio room, fuck up the engines and leave.
We kept dancing in front of the clowns and kept them well confused, and we learned a hell of a lot in the process.
Now the game is shifting and we don't need to be laser pointers anymore. Now we can begin to play the real game, the game of politics as envisaged in the Constitution where the people run this country and the government serves the people.
